  1. I bet both of those guys would find success with other teams, personally. (Not the Bills, though, since we suck as well)
  2. Probably means we'll try to force it to the WRs 40 times, knowing our offensive gameplanning
  3. Rice isn't any good anymore, from what I've seen. Not sure why we would pursue him.
  4. To get us 6 wins, duh. --- Great read, thanks for the link.
  5. Good news! (I think? After reading a couple posts )
  6. So all of our current options suck, and all of our options for 2015 suck. Man, we're screwed
  7. Depth is good. Kiko last year was better than Brown or Bradham this year, imo. Not really sure why we would trade away the guy.
  8. Happens, miscommunication on the play call, or someone forgot an assignment. It was clear that Gilmore was passing the guy off. Who knows if Gilmore was supposed to, or if he did the right thing and AW wasn't in the right spot, or maybe AW was responding to something else, who knows. Blown defensive plays happen every game, that's how offenses get big gains from time to time.
  9. KO had a pretty mediocre game that day, no argument there.. but we still win that game if Brown and McKelvin hold on to the ball. (Basically, he's not good enough to make up for huge mistakes like that)
  10. Ok, so we won't make the playoffs until we get a HoF QB. That's all you had to say.
  11. http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2014/week/13 We play against the top three teams in the upcoming weeks. Fun
  12. So where are we going to get a HoF QB before those games?
  13. Doing some calculations... the average game for a QB this year is: (using the top 32 qualified QBs) 22/35 (64%) 247 yards, 1.7 TD, 0.8 INT, 91.7 RTG So, Kyle has had 4 games above the avg RTG, and three below. http://espn.go.com/n...8520/kyle-orton 3 above on percentage, 4 below 3 above on INT, 4 below 4 above on TD, 3 below
  14. Yup, first up is taking care of Cleveland. They have a tough D, and apparently Hoyer can make some plays. Lets go! Most likely record is 7-9, but there's still hope. What's wrong with hope?
  15. Depends, does Team B take care of business in their cozy home?
  16. I can't tell if the Browns are legitimate or not... they've had an easy schedule, but wins are wins.... Looks like Pettine's defense is strong against the pass, and weak against the rush (sounds about right)... And our team can't run the ball to save it's life most games. Could be interesting.
  17. 10-6, and there needs to be a couple upsets along the way for the other teams in the hunt. But most importantly, we cannot lose more than one game here on out.
  18. Average is an upgrade over what EJ was producing this year, imo. That's not to say EJ can't develop into something better, but this year he wasn't showing it, and we needed to make a change to a proven product. KO is good enough to get this team to the playoffs if the OL holds up, and our play calling improves. Neither of which are likely, though.
  19. All very strong defenses? Sounds like he's about average for a starting QB in the NFL. Good against bad defenses, struggles against good defenses. Orton isn't going to be a guy who can carry an offense with hurt RBs, a bad OL, and a bad OC. But he's not nearly as bad as many make him out to be. He's about average.
  20. True, we should only count QB stats against good teams. That's what the rest of the league is judged on.
  21. It's possible, but we need some weird things to happen going forward http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine
  22. Yeah, that's the unfortunate reality. But, maybe Pegula doesn't care... or something.
  23. KO isn't the reason we've been losing games, but he's also not good enough to carry a bad OL, OC, and hurt RB corps.
  24. I don't like domes for football... I like that it's played in just about whatever weather is happening. It makes the game more interesting. That being said, if they want to use the stadium for anything other than football, it needs to be a dome, or retractable. And we all know, if it's retractable, it's going to be closed during bad/cold weather.
