  1. This isn't exactly new news... he's still the best QB on the roster, and the best QB we've had in a long time. He's a middle of the road guy that does some things really well (accurate long passes, scrambling, taking care of the ball) and other things not as well (anticipating/trusting receivers, holding on to the ball too long). I'm not about to run him out of Buffalo, he can definitely take us to the playoffs as long as the defense is decent. He's just not good enough to *carry* a bad defense. He's also not so bad that he'd hold an otherwise good team back, imo.
  2. Really hope he works out. Keeping my expectations low, but he certainly has the athletic tools for it.
  3. I'm just saying, it's *very* customizable to your tastes. I just added a couple sources, and cleaned up my interests, myself. I don't really have any opinion on if Google is biased, but at the very least you can 'fix' it, if you feel it is.
  4. For what it's worth, you can modify what sources Google News pulls from, if you feel things are running too slanted for you. In the right hand corner (if viewing on desktop) there's a gear icon, click on 'sources' and work from there. You can also put in specific interests, too. For example, I have Fox News blocked, and my preferred news sources are Reuters, BBC, AP, and NPR.
  5. Thanks Astro, love your write ups, good luck with the year to come
  6. Every year we talk about how our roster has improved, and every year we finish just about the same. At this point, I feel like we have the talent to be a playoff team, but it'll take good coaching for us to get there. We haven't had good coaching in a while.
  7. This means Sammy is out for the season, right?
  8. Thread title gave me a heart attack. Good work, OP. Troll Score: 100
  9. Can you give us statistics for how many times a GM/Coach has said a player will be fine, and how many times they were fine, vs how many times they weren't, and then also please give us a break down of what is an acceptable ratio?
  10. A couple local media folks said he was back out on the field... probably should shut the thread down.
  11. Sucks for them if true. Hard to root for injuries, but I won't complain about having a possible easier game against them, either.
  12. Ditto, and it !@#$ing sticks around too.
  13. I'm fully expecting us to lose Sammy. :|
  14. It's amazing how outraged this place gets over the littlest things.
  15. Same thing I do every year, regret buying NFL Sunday ticket while enjoying a couple drinks.
  16. Huh, that's too bad, I really liked his potential. Hopefully Taylor improves, and Peterman works out. (Have no faith in Yates)
  17. So, what does this mean for the First Amendment/Article Six?
  18. He would have been smart to focus on that initially, both sides agree that infrastructure work is badly needed. That being said, the left would probably prefer taxes, and the right would probably prefer prioritizing toll roads and offsetting spending cuts elsewhere. But even with that disagreement, at least both sides have a similar goal on the subject, so getting people to compromise should have been relatively easy.
  19. Same as the one month poll. Do you approve or disapprove Trump's job performance so far? Feel free to expand on your answer in a post. For example, is how your feeling about him now different or the same as before the election? Are you happy with certain parts, and down on other parts of his performance? Etc. One Month: 45% Approve/55% Disapprove
  20. I can't be mad at this prediction. It's on the low end of the range I'm thinking.
  21. I don't think it's realistic to expect a QB to be great regardless of who is or isn't injured (or on the team period). You basically have to be Tom Brady to be great no matter who you have around you. That being said, I want to see Tyrod anticipate a bit better, I know he trusts Sammy, so he'll have to develop that trust with other receivers as well. Other than that, I'm generally pretty happy with his performance so far. As long as he takes care of the ball, hits open receivers, and keeps our offense moving, I don't care if he's first or last in yards thrown.
  22. I had some peak excitement years during the drought, but now I'm in severe cynicism. I'll watch, but I'm going into every game with the expectation of losing, and the Bills doing something Billsy.
