  1. Until the playoffs Jacobs played soft.
  2. It's unfortunate with Bell's injury history. When healthy he did a real nice job. Either way I wish this guy well.
  3. I live 6 hours away and my work schedule takes some maneuvering to get away these days. It was worth getting away for the weekend but just on principal I can't justify the expense when I could just watch it on TV. If the Bills took all of their home games back and decided to double their prices I would have kept them, because it is not just about money. I believe in voting with my checkbook, and giving us back the game that no one will attend instead of a real home game is insulting to me. I am not going to judge the fans that don't agree with me because everyone has the right to spend their income however they chose. I am still a Bills fan and will just attend games by paying for tickets below face value which are always available about a week before the games anyway.
  4. There is iron in your words.
  5. Getting the preseason game back on the bill without the regular season home game is unacceptable to me. I won't be renewing.
  6. Irsay is modeling his team after the Bills. The Colts swipe the K-gun as their offense, have a big playoff run, say goodbye to their HOF qb, fire Polian, start getting rid of their good players, and so on and so forth. Their playoff drought will become epic. Irsay will become the new Wilson around the league and eventually break his hip.
  7. I see where you are going with this. We have the cap space to accomplish that. It won't happen of course so many reasons but with the roll over of cap space the funds are available.
  8. Between the surgery and GH he will be ready to go.
  9. The cost of a roof would be astronomical.
  10. I am glad Stevie was extended. The good vibes seem to have improved the tenor of our discussion in regards to Fitz. Let's also talk about the fact that despite playing through the injury that he also started to play better down the stretch in spite of it. 2012 will be very interesting.
  11. Close, he's on TBD.
  12. Nix never said that he would cut, trade, or extend Fred. He said that he would make an offer before September. Nothing more and nothing less. Throwing numbers around at this point is ridiculous. Judging by the contracts to Johnson and Williams I just don't see Nix offering the farm to extend Jackson.
  13. You said it. He has had his fair share of injuries too. I just don't see him living up to the hype.
  14. Donte, why are you so angry? A depth chart in March is best ignored.
  15. That would be a remarkable situation going into the season. The competition in camp would be the best thing to ever happen to the Bills O-line in years.
  16. That is a long outdated assumption. The pre-snap read of the defense against the offensive play that is called dictates the progression. When the blitz is read properly the go to guy is typically the receiver that is singled up which is rarely your best receiver and usually in the slot, although that too has it's exceptions. #1 receivers have more to do with how a fan ranks the importance of that player than how the game is actually played.
  17. I don't think anybody dislikes Chandler, it's just that not everybody believes him to be excellent. In a sense he is a one year wonder and that will remain the perception until he becomes a 2 year wonder. Unfortunately it is contract time and he has only a partial season on his resume. I doubt that anyone wants him gone, but how much he is truly worth is just so difficult to say.
  18. From the responses to this GW story I think that I am more shocked at how naive the general public is. We collectively see so much in the world yet we are in denial of the dark underside of all things that involve money and prestige. We watch, contribute our money, and selectively deny what we see until a talking head breaks a story. This is a league wide PROBLEM that should have been obvious to many if for a moment you applied common sense. Until a big story breaks I am sure that many will continue to believe that referees are not influenced by cash. I don't know why since we openly accept that all politicians run a pay to play legislation program. I agree that this is wrong but denial is clearly far more insidious and destructive. GH and steroids permeate all sports from college to pros. There are many college football programs that provide staff to administer these drugs in organized protocols yet until a hack reporter says something we will simply accept what we are told when our own eyes and common sense tell us otherwise. Some here have assumed that this all began with one coaching tree. That is ridiculous. Some will insult me over my opinion and please feel free to do so, I won't be offended. Just do me one favor. If any of you have children that are on there way to a college sports program, do them a favor and educate yourself through investigation so that you can prepare them adequately for what they will be expected to do to maintain their scholarships. If you teach them a grossly naive perspective such as "winners never cheat and cheaters never win" you will quickly become someone that they will not feel that they can confide in when it comes to making these critical decisions.
  19. I am not a proponent of any government spending in the private sector in any way shape or form.
  20. 18 pages and no contract update.
  21. I am curious how many personal fouls were called on his defenses during his time as DC versus the league average and also compare the fines on his players during the same time span.
