It feels like going back to the past like the gruden hire

It's fascinating how you're a qb whisperer one year and a bum the next. I didn't watch too many of their games but for a young qb I was surprised that Stroud would stay in the pocket without capitalizing on his mobility. They also throw to the tight end as often as lightning strikes. This I knew from having Schultz in fantasy.

This franchise always seems to be one step behind and the last to know. I wonder if the candidates who already interviewed would reconsider given this development. Of all the teams with head coach openings, the Jags have the most draft capital. This team plays soft and sorely needs a culture reset. I don't see the remaining first time HC candidates pulling that off. I'm thinking Saleh, Flores or Spagnuolo.

I think he's a good hire and expect their defense to be something to contend with in very short order. Was expecting him to take the Saints job given how dysfunctional the Jets are. If they hire a compatible GM it would make our division race competitive but expecting the Jets to get Coach and GM right in the same century is asking a lot. I will be shocked if Aaron Rodgers is with the team on opening day. I expect hem to sign the likes of Russell Wilson, Derek Carr or Kirk Cousins until they find their next Namath.

We can start with the game plan we used to stop Kelce in the regular season. Was it Bernard who covered him in our win?

McDermott Coached his A$$ off Before and During the Ravens Game
stuvian replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
We stopped Henry cold in the first half, thereby forcing Lamar to beat us passing. When forced to pass, Lamar will eventually turn the ball over. It was great strategy and it worked. I've never seen our defense tackle like that in an important game in the Clappy era. I guess they were saving it for when it mattered. Now we know they can. I didn't like that we coasted on an 11 point lead against a very good team in the second half but the results speak for themselves. Sometimes going turtle is the right call even if it is terrifying to watch as a fan. -
Was expecting McCarthy in Chicago. I wonder where he goes now

The Bears will never hire a coach who could overshadow their front office.

still trying to figure out why the Ravens scared me more than the Chiefs -
as the game got closer I was telling myself the Bills are built to beat KC. I wasn't sure if we could hold our own against the Ravens but I'm glad we did
