  1. Marshall Crenshaw is one of my all time faves
  2. I fear this as well. DW doesn't want to risk his job taking a QB early so we'll end up with some 5th round longshot and sign the Chase Daniels of the world to "compete" with TT
  3. Want - Mahomes Don't Want - John Ross Dark Horse - Jonathan Allen Think - Hooker
  4. I'll take Bills busts for $100 Alex. Who's Torrell Troupe?
  5. only Babe Laufenburg has a better jersey collection
  6. http://gbnreport.com/2017-first-round-selection-order/ I'm operating on the assumption that we aren't taking a QB at #1. That said, we will need to trade back into round 1 if we entertain the notion of getting one of the top QB prospects. Who do we need to get in front of in round 1 to ensure we get one of Watson, Trubinsky, Kizer or Mahomes?
  7. I agree that with everyone healthy we could make some noise but with any scheme change on D comes adjustments which I don't expect our guys to absorb until after week 8. I don't see Shady holding up his current workload for 16 games and I expect we will be a run heavy team again this year. If we are at .500 at midseason we have a chance at a wildcard
  8. I see us going safety at #1. We have nothing left at that position
  9. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2017/03/colin_kaepernick_ignored_by_th.html#incart_river_index Super Bowl experience great wheels still in his prime Politics aside the guy can still play and yes I was at the 49ers game last year. This would be a no risk acquisition with all upside and I would support it.
  10. he was the fastest guy on our IR list
  11. give me the under. This is the year we suck for schmuck or whatever next year's saviour QB is named
  12. our team got two years older, not better under Wrecks. On D we have Alexander, Hughes and Kyle Williams and a bunch of guys. On offense we have a high mileage Shady, fragile Sammy and a decent o-line. We are not set at QB and will need at least 8 games before McDermott's scheme makes sense to our players. I really like the HC hire but he'll need 3 seasons to get us over .500. I see us at 6 wins this year barring a Romo signing.
  13. Geno is a pretty epic bust. Still trying to figure out the Giants' making this move
  14. The Raiders would have to compensate Seattle, no?
  15. I always admired him for being willing to forego his natural position and play ST. Struck me as a character guy. Sad to see him go
  16. I think it is smart if unspectacular management on DW's part. We shouldn't be going into FA and the draft having nothing at QB and being forced to say that Cardale is a legit option. That Doug got TT to restructure and want to come back shows he has some serious pull with some players. I am heartened by TT's wanting to be here regardless of whether there were any other serious offers. I want us to take a QB high but I also think TT has some more room to the upside. If he gets his midrange game right or even adds just a few throws over the middle to his repertoire we might have Russell Wilson lite.
  17. we can now enter FA and the draft without desperation written on our foreheads
  18. Hats off to Whaley for his handling of this. We now have stability at QB going into the draft which should prevent us from doing something stupid (cough cough EJ cough cough)
  19. http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/18607602/tony-romo-tracking-every-possible-landing-spot-2017 this article is worth reading if for no other reason than seeing Romo in Bills gear. Elway isn't going to pay Peyton Manning money to Romo so this might not be the great long shot we think it is. If this fits our scheme and our $$ package is better this could happen
  20. starters get paid like starters even when they aren't starting quality the banjo guy is his Dad. Not only can Glennon pass over the middle, he also has a pretty mouth
  21. my worst nightmare is we start Hoyer at QB. If this happens I will not attend another Bills game until he's gone. Still it is such a Bills-like turtleball move I fear that it may be realized. So my stab into the unknown goes Hoyer 20 %, Foles 15%, Simien 25%, Tyrod 0%, AJ Mccarron 10%, Romo 0%, Jay Cutler 10%, Glennon 10%, Garropolo 5%, Zach Mettenburger (your long shot fill in the blank) etc 5% I say zero for TT because our trying to talk him down will create too much bad will.
  22. always liked Stevie. Anyone who got 100 yard games vs Revis with our QBs is a baller. He's missed a lot of football and I don't know what he's got left
