  1. If the draft went like this Herbert would be available. Would they still trade pick 13?
  2. This could be a real outcome draft day. They do really need more line help however - their FA signings are middle of the road.
  3. With the 10th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns select Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville. The Browns need to protect Mayfield and while RT is good with Conklin, LT is a glaring gap. Need and value meet at 10 with OT. I was expecting to have no choice here but Thomas is also on the board. While both good, Becton appears to have a higher ceiling. The Jets and @TPS are on the clock. Did I pick your OT?
  4. Trades not in scope this version of the draft.
  5. Good luck - my goal was to retire at 55 and made it. Luckily I worked for a good company with a good pension and salaries. Everyone is different but I suspect most would retire too early then too late. Who knows that the future brings. I ended up doing consulting this winter - was not looking but the $ was too good to pass up. Was not bored but it was a great opportunity with minimal stress. So there are always options post retirement - consulting, volunteering, mentoring, etc.
  6. If you can draft a QB later it may make sense but nothing trumps a good QB. You see him worse than Fitz?
  7. The first draft shocker (maybe just to me)......I like him, just don't know if I like him at 4.
  8. I do think if making the pick you would go with CB as the talent is close and CB is the biggest need with Slay traded. As a player I think Brown is higher rated but I do not not consider myself an expert.
  9. The pick among mocks seems to be CB here but Brown is the best non QB on the board.
  10. Two good backs are required in the current NFL. Spread the load when healthy, contingency ready if one is hurt. What you need to avoid is the second back being one dimensional. The pass or run threat must be real or the opposing DC gets to defend half the playbook.
  11. Jones was miss but all teams miss on 4th rounders so will not hold that against them.
  12. Unless they think he is a hot mess, then they may give him away. After a season of seeing him, Flores should know how to defend Rosen.
  13. Maybe the future Surgeon General wants to be the power behind the throne?
  14. To me the sweet spot is 11 personnel. With Diggs they will be dangerous and can dictate to the D.
  15. She has a lot of hair. When Joe needs a sniff fix, AOC could be his go to source.
  16. ...or if might not. He has no facts of expertise to make that statement. No one knows what the outcome will be. If the mass of media thinks the worst, then bet against them.
  17. I would argue taking a lower rated player because he is higher rated in a position group is a bad strategy. Take the highest ranked player within a tier at a position of need. Seems simple vs drafting by highest ranked player within a position group.
  18. So by this logic you take the best kicker over the second best QB. Take the BPA at a position of need within the tier when picking. If TE, not opposed but doubt it.
  19. I would rather have a RB than TE. Reality is that is that there will be players grouped as BPA and in that group TE will be a low priority.
  20. You are wrong but would like to understand why you think so.
