  1. You are correct - I feel like I should not have traded now that I have been disrespected.
  2. The Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins have announced a trade. Miami will trade pick #6 and pick #50 for pick #5. While I had multiple worthy offers, this allows me to get a top 2 player plus a 2nd round pick. Unless of course, someone wants pick #6. @BillfromNYC is on the clock.
  3. Can one of the offers include free cell for a year? I have selected one offer and have sent it to the commish and his boy friday for approval. As soon as we have that I will announce the trade or da pick.
  4. The 5th pick will have the choice of the best non QB in the draft. The Bengals will listen to offers for the next 2 hours. As we need players now, only 2021 selections in rounds 1-3 will be accepted in trade.
  5. Is this like the real draft when then the next team can select if a team is late to turn the pick in? PS: I do realize people have lives.
  6. The 10% rule on trades may be hard to meet dependent upon the picks. Can we make a range like 5% to 15%?
  7. 10 is worse casr for him, most likely sooner. So 2 issues: the cost to trade-up would be multiple ones and the positional value does not warrant. I expect he will be a very good pro but such a move will hurt the team in the long run.
  8. I flew overnight to Switzerland. Slept poorly even in business class. After landing, traveled to the office and worked all day. The Bills were playing Seattle on MNF. With time change was watching the game at 230 in the morning. Watched the entire game on my laptop with the Bills losing on the missed FG at the end. I was so worked on the loss I could not get to sleep. So Tuesday I was not productive from lack of sleep.
  9. Logged in - see the intro ads on tablet, not on laptop with firefox. Simple solution - don't leave the site when put down PC or click through
  10. You are correct. However, the Browns proved that it must be used properly.
  11. Spot on. Pitts will not make it to 10. This is place a huge bet certainty. Try to be at least probable when making these types of trades.
  12. This is most likely too much work but if someone does not draft or makes a pick to screw up the draft, do not invite. Maybe do the final draft as an invitational - select the people who are dependable and make well reasoned selections. You may not make the same selection but can understand why. No 2nd or 3rd round grades in round 1. Lastly, I like the poll but too many selections. Use the 3 person team to select 5 potential draft picks and stick to those. Ignore the "please add X" suggestions. Put the emphasis on how Beane would build the team, not favorite players. Thanks again for organizing and if you need assistance, please ask.
  13. With the 52nd pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky. The draft board and need meet at pick 52. With Fuller cut, the D needs a CB. Joseph had 4 ints in 2020 and is an excellent athlete. Joseph is not a process guy but Chicago is not a process team. The Titans and @turftoeare on the clock. Thanks to @Virgil for organizing.
  14. If the Giants were close to being competitive, that RB pick makes sense. They have talent gaps in so many areas it is GM malpractice. Now if they want to send a 4th to the Bills for Singletary and the Bills draft him, makes more sense as the Bills are close.
  15. I don't think being virtual is a decision criteria. Is there good value at a position of need that makes your team better than who is expected to be available?
  16. I am trying to imagine this draft day conversation....... Beane: Terry, I want to go RB in the draft. I know Edge and CB are weak and we need depth on the OL/LB but adding a RB will put us over the top. I know I just drafted 2 RBS and signed Breida but time I will get it right. Pegula: How did you win Executive of the Year?
  17. #20 was Teven Jenkins. You have at #46, Athletic article from this AM has him at 20th best. Several others have him in mid 20's. Alignment is rare even in the top 10.
  18. With the 20th pick in the TSW Mock Draft (v1), the Chicago Bears select Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State. The Bears were hoping to select Mac Jones but the Pats, as expected, made that selection. Dalton and Foles are not the long term answer. Not sure if Jones would be but Dalton/Foles are not for sure. The selection then came down to OT or CB. Both are high needs but Jenkins was the highest rated of the next 4 on the board. If we went CB, it would have been Joseph from Kentucky. The Colts and @Canadian Bills Fan are on the clock.
  19. Spot on, the top tackle should be the pick. Take a receiver at the top of round 2 or improve the D.
  20. is the problem that the Sabres spend too much on special teams?
