  1. I couldn't find my helmet and I was late for the vote. Sorry.
  2. I agree. Wilson will not only make the team, he'll beat the season yardage of teammates Price, Aiken, Fast Freddie and Parrish (Evans will be #1, Davis #2). Just a hunch.
  3. Go to here and type in 70 Oakland Place, Buffalo NY then click Bird's Eye View. Nice street.
  4. I'll dub him my guy if/when the Bills coaches --and players-- pick him as the starter having beaten out the competition in camp.
  5. Nance was 12th this year in Division 1 in Avg. Yards Per Game. Stovall was 17th, Santonio Holmes 36th. Source Name Team G Rec Yds TD Rec/G Yds/Rec Yds/G 1. 6. The current Jet Blue Poll on the Bills Website has me steaming: Which wide receiver has the best shot at making the Bills active roster? Choice Votes: Chris Denney 115 (7%) Martin Nance 941 (53%) Jonathan Smith 632 (36%) George Wilson 72 (4%) I can understand how Fast Freddie's speed and 2 seasons' experience netted him 36% of the vote, but explain to me how Martin Freaking Nance (number of NFL passes thrown to him in pads=0) got HALF the votes and George Wilson, who caught everything in sight last year in training camp got 4%. I'm a big fan of Wilson's, to be sure, and I'd like to see the 6'4" Nance get a fair shot at the 5-6 WR roster spots, but Nance will have to show us some separation out of the break before he gets my vote. [End of Rant]
  7. 1. DJ and his brass will commit to one guy by the 2nd preseason game. 2. Nothing will succeed like success, and Willis McGahee will be riding that wave. 3. Evans, Price, Parrish, Davis, Aiken or Nance, and Wilson. 4. A Rams Offense and a Bears-TBay Defense. I'm happy. 5. No. Custom picks for a specialized purpose on D. 6. We won't be favored early; who knows by midseason.
  8. What dreadful news. Paul's sig line was "-------------------- The more you complain, the longer God makes you live." I'm thankful for a merciful God, who didn't.
  9. 1740 words, 7321 characters, 12.0 Flesch-Kincaid grade level.
  10. Fletcher has been criticized in the past about his ability to cover receivers over the middle. He's awesome as a tackling machine (157 tackles and assists, 4 sacks in 2005), and part of his job will be to continue saying hello to the opposing RB's. This might even improve withour new DT's. As I understand the Tampa2, London won't be expected to be the first-line defender of those receivers over the middle; the answer to your question as regards London Fletcher is he'll be fine.
  11. So the Bills should get rid of their leading scorer (Holcomb, with 10 TD's), their best defensive player (Fletcher with 157 tackles), and bring in a 36 year old defensive player (Troy Vincent is 35; Born: 06/08/1971, Lawyer Milloy is too young Born: 11/14/1973).
  12. Do You mean Letchworth State Park? How much is a Letchworth?
  13. Well put! Levy and the Bills brass will be watching Willis closely. As a rule, you won't find literati at RB, especially from Florida colleges.
  14. Gibson about to eat Sportscaster Lady
  15. Which does stephanie abrams like? I'm betting white.
  16. I'll take Philly, with the Giants as a wildcard. It'll be fun to see "our" line on the Eagles, with Justice and Jean-Gilles, playing quite a bit this season! Runyan is going on his 13th year--not sure what he'll have left in the tank.

  18. Pat Kirwan says: This year, I see several of these teams making headway--the Bills, Browns, Jags, Cardinals, and Cowboys in particular. But I don't see any on this list taking their division this year.
  19. The Flutie Flakes shirt is worth $15.50, and less moldy.
  20. Yeah, I was interested in Kyle Williams' video, and I agree, while it's a crapshoot, you have to like players who don't fit the classic height/weight definition. Dwight Freeney and London Fletcher come to mind. The guy just plays football.
  21. I like this definition. It's possible to see how I could adapt this for my students. Thank you.
  22. No--in the alternative universe, you are dating/on the entire Jills squad. Besides, we droids don't date. Like your username. Wins points for creativity. Either that or some of your keys don't work.
  23. I know it was coke and alcohol. A close friend took his bed at the rehab facility when he was done with it.
  24. Pick alternative players in the draft. You may only pick players within 7 picks of where the Bills actually picked, and you keep the Round 2, pick #42 pick and the Round 3, 70 and 73 picks. I used Draft Tracker here. My Alternative Universe: I keep Troy Vincent. Round 1: Bunkley, Brodrick DT Round 2: Colledge, Daryn OT Round 3A: Youboty, Ashton CB Round 3B: Whitehurst, Charlie QB Round 4: Simpson, Ko FS Round 5A: Nande, Terna OLB Round 5B: Landry, Dawan FS Round 6: Oshinowo, Babatunde DT Round 7A: Matua, Fred OG Round 7B: Obomanu, Ben WR
