  1. The teams with two 2nd Rounders are the Broncos (37, 61) and Vikings (48, 51). I think the Broncos moved up to 15 to position themselves for a Tight End, their #1 need (maybe moving up on draft day to get Vernon Davis, or staying put and getting WR, their #2 need (most likely Santonio Holmes, Ohio St but possibly Chad Jackson). If they had a shot at Vernon Davis at #8, they would be our trade partner, most likely giving us the 37 (530 points) and the 15 (1050) for our 8th pick (1400) We'd have Day One picks as follows:#15, 37, 42, 70, 73. Since we are in No Man's Land at #15, we trade once more. The Vikes want a cornerback and a quarterback. What better place to get one than at 15? Jimmy Williams' stock puts him at ~#15 right now, and Antonio Cromartie or Tye Hill can be had there as well. It's possible that Cutler is there, too. The Vikes package their second rounders, #48 (420) and #51(390) and their 3rd Rounder (#83, 175 points, total points 985) for our #15 (1050 pts.) The Bills now have seven Top 100 draft picks. Who's probably available there? 37--Davin Joseph, OG; Nick Mangold, C; Gabe Watson, DT; Max Jean-Gilles, OG 42--Darnell Bing, S; Ko Simpson, S; D'Qwell Jackson, ILB 48--Jonathan Scott, OT;John McCargo, DT; Abdul Hodge, ILB; Taitusi Lutui, OG 51--Claude Wroten, DT; Rodrique Wright, DT; Derek Hagan, WR 70--Charles Spencer, OG; Cedric Griffin, CB; 73--Orien Harris, DT; Elvis Dumervil, DE; Daryn Colledge, OT; Devin Hester, CB 83--Will Allen, OG; Jeremy Trueblood, OT; Martin Nance, WR; Matt Bernstein, FB
  2. Reporting Back-- I have succeeded. This software Imgburn is the sequel to Decrypter, and worked first time in writing my ISO file to DVD. I am the videographer for my school, and had old pageants and plays on my hard drive as ISO's, and thought I would be unable to make DVD's for parents. I've done some weddings, too, but that's too stressful--what if your battery gives out, etc. etc.--it's not like they'll get married again for the videotape re-do!!!!
  3. Unfortunately, it's no longer available. Here's what it says at the mirror sites: "This software is no longer available, this page is stored for archival puposes only. On 24th of November, 2005, Macrovision Europe contacted AfterDawn.com, notifying us that they have acquired full rights to the DVD Decrypter software and have changed its licensing terms. Effective immediately, they have decided to withdraw all distribution rights from all third party companies, including AfterDawn.com. Thus, distributing DVD Decrypter is now as illegal as it would be to distribute cracked copies of Windows operating system or pirated copies of games. "
  4. My Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 ($95) isn't working these days, and I'll be darned if I'm going to shell out more bucks right now. Is there a decent, straightforward freeware program that takes an ISO file and can make DVD's from it? Thanks in Advance... Astro
  5. 1. HOUSTON - BUSH 2. NYJ(from NO) - LEINART 3. TENNESSEE - V. YOUNG 4. NO(from NYJ) - HAWK 5. GREEN BAY - M. WILLIAMS 6. SAN FRAN - V. DAVIS 7. OAKLAND - HUFF 8. BUFFALO - D'BRICK 9. DETROIT - J. WILLIAMS 10. ARIZONA - CUTLER
  6. The 49'ers want Greenway. The Bills trade the 17th pick to the 49'ers at 22, obtaining their 84 as well. This nets us a better OT-OC pick. 22. Marcus McNeill, OT, Auburn or Nick Mangold, C, Ohio St. 42. Darnell Bing, S, USC or Ko Simpson, S,South Carolina 48. Davin Joseph, OG, Oklahoma 70. Elvis Dumervil, DE, Louisville 73. Anthony Fasano, TE, Notre Dame 105. Babatunde Oshinowo, DT, Stanford 134. Spencer Havner, OLB, UCLA 143. DeMario Minter, CB, Georgia Good thought.
  7. But let's humor them, shall we? We now would have pick #17, 42, 48, 70, 73, 105, 134, and 143. Eight Top 150 picks. Here we go: 17. Chad Greenway, OLB, Iowa 42. Darnell Bing, S, USC or Ko Simpson, S,South Carolina 48. Davin Joseph, OG, Oklahoma 70. Andrew Whitworth, OT, LSU 73. Anthony Fasano, TE, Notre Dame 105. Babatunde Oshinowo, DT, Stanford 134. Pat Watkins, S, Florida St. 143. DeMario Minter, CB, Georgia
  8. The math is almost right on. 17th=950 pts. 48=420 pts 8th=1400 That said, I don't think we can get who we want at the 17th pick.
  9. Some More: WR Cory Rodgers- playmaker 30 yds KR: explosive Kendrick Jones- experienced, 20 ypc, walls off defender Jermaine Jamison- lanky, speed, long arms, great vertical, char TE Anthony Mix- size of a tight end and the speed of a wideout, sub 4.5 speed OG Kevin Boothe- massive, smart Ivy Leaguer OC Pat Ross - one of the quickest OC's in the draft DT Anthony Montgomery- 1-gap blue collar player, hard worker, 6'5", 301 CB Allante Harrison - great solo tackler, great feet Levonne Rowan - great speed, good size Clayton Farrell - just watch.
  10. I think it's a great draft, and very believable. The Cleveland trade scenario is the most believable of the trade-downs Marv would do. If we got Bunkley-Joseph-McCargo I'd be buying tickets. Will Joe Toledo last until RD#4?
  11. Me too. The Bills pick 10th in the 2nd Round, and the Browns pick 11th. We'd have 2 picks in a row. RD#1----Winston Justice OT RD#2A--Orien Harris DT RD#2B--Ko Simpson S
  12. Regarding Everett: Go here and do a search for "Everett". This will give you a good view of him at his Pro Day a year ago. Note that he doesn't have much fat on himself, and alo note that he can't catch passes as well as the Davis combine video.
  13. I hope we won't be taking a WR on Day 1, but I think we need a different type of WR than we have in our stable. In Round 5, if Drouzon Quillen is there, I'd take him. He'd help in the red zone. He's tall (over 6'6"), fast, and coachable. Ben Obumanu is another big guy who may be the best on the reverse. In Round 6, Cory Rodgers would get my vote. Cory is a playmaker with a 30 yd Kickoff Return average. I'm pretty sure we don't want McGee or Clements doing kickoff returns. He's described by his coaches as explosive. Others worth considering are Kendrick Jones and Jermaine Jamison. Both are tall, fast, wall off the defender, and make the sideline catch. In Round 7, take a kick returner (again, McGee and Clements may not be doing it). Ashlan Davis and Willie Reid are two of the best, and one should be added in the late rounds to keep McGee injury-free.
  14. Here are the players we should think about for Tackles --I have eliminated the character issue folk: Round 1: Justice Round 2: Daryn Colledge, Ryan O'Callaghan, Andrew Whitworth, Jonathan Scott, Charles Spencer. Round 3:Willie Hall, Marcus McNeill Round 2 seems to be the optimal time to take your OT. At Guard, same thing: Round 1: Nobody Round 2: Max Jean-Gilles Round 3: Fred Matua USC mean; Mark Setterstrom versatile; Tony Palmer strong, experienced, run-stuffer; Taitusi Lutui quick, raw. Round 3 seems to be a good time to get a Guard. This leaves Round 1 to pick the best athlete available who can transform your team. A fast TE would do that.
  15. By the way, in drafting Devin Hester, I think you also drafted the fastest guy in the draft, either that or the best return man in the draft. If you don't have Nate Clements, you just got us a backup for our #1 CB, who dam well better not be returning kicks!
  16. I'm not disagreeing, but ever figure out the difference between a 4.3 TE and a 4.4 CB? A 4.3 40-yard dash is 9.30 yards per second, or 27.9 feet. A 4.4 40-yard dash is 9.09 yards per second, or 27.2 feet. The difference is .7 feet, or 8". The difference is even more minimized when you and your defender are just starting up.
  17. I like Jonathan Lewis as a mid round DT pick and Matua as a good value pick at OG. Most posters are going to think taking our 2 line needs this late is risky. I'd like to see this trade. I like your big WR drafting too, and a FB drafting. Most original draft yet.
  18. Good points. I predict the score of the first NE game will be 31-0, Bills. Just keeping the balance.
  19. Rich Gosselin's Mocks have been the most accurate. Here are his current Player Rankings. Of interest in QB is Vince Young in 3rd Place (don't tell Al Davis), the rise of Kellen Clemens over Charlie Whitehurst. At TE, note Dominique Byrd's fall to 9th; he'd be a good value. At OT, Rashad Butler moved up over Whitworth. At Guard, Davin Joseph is getting the love (someone must've seen Jean-Gilles without his girdle on). Matua-Sims-and especially Setterstrom look like good value at OG. At DE, Wimbley is still listed at #4, and would be a real value in RD#2. McCargo continues his climb at DT, and even as late as Jonathan Lewis you'd have a good DT. Dvoracek is down due to some character issues. At CB, Huff is listed there instead of at Safety. The Bills are looking at Huff at both positions. Top 10 at each position (except center and inside linebacker): QUARTERBACK 1. Matt Leinart Southern California 2. Jay Cutler Vanderbilt 3. Vince Young Texas 4. Brodie Croyle Alabama 5. Kellen Clemens Oregon 6. Charlie Whitehurst Clemson 7. Darrell Hackney Alabama-Birmingham 8. Bruce Gradkowski Toledo 9. 20. An 18 to 8 leap (500 points) by the Cowpersons would net us more than just their 2nd Rounder (400 points). They would have to throw in something else this year or next. Players ikely to be available at 18: Tamba Hali, DE, Penn St. Kamerion Wimbley, DE, Florida St. Marcus McNeill, OT, Auburn Donte Whitner, S, Ohio St. Antonio Cromartie, CB, Florida St Leonard Pope, TE, Georgia
  21. Bills get from Vikes...#17, #41, #48, #51, #73, and Vikes get #8 and #70, #105. Didn't we already have #73? If you're right, this is great. Note that we'd have 4 Round 2 picks in a draft loaded with Guards and DT's in that range. 17. Marcus McNeill, OT, Auburn 41. Darnell Bing, S, USC 42. Max Jean-Gilles, OG, Georgia 48.
