  1. McCargo, Powell, Williams in there...
  2. Moorman with a 54 and a 57 yard punt so far.
  3. Good sack by Anderson. Not willing to become second string, I guess....
  4. The difference between us and the Dolphins is, if our QB goes down, we have KH throwing 70% completions. The Dolphins don't. And Culpepper is injury prone.
  5. One way to look at it, is that KH would only have to stay around until Brady Quinn was ready. (deadpans)
  6. I've been to 6 camps so far. I saw him play last night, and he is cutting and moving to the ball, not like he used to, but far, far better than even 2 weeks ago. But why risk it?
  7. Here's a survey of NFL Depth Charts, showing you the odd man out if there are 4 QB's in their camp. AFC BAL---Nobody CIN---Erik Meyer CLE---Lang Campbell DEN---Preston Parsons HOU---Cody Pickett or Quinton Porter, probably Porter * IND------Nobody JAX------Nobody KC----Casey Printers * MIA---Cleo Lemon or Brock Berlin * NE---Corey Bramlet or Todd Mortensen NYJ---Ramsey or Bollinger * -- Clemens won't be put on PS RAIDERS---Nobody PGH---Shane Boyd * SD---Nobody TEN---Cody Hodges Texas Tech NFC ARI---Navarre or Davey * ---Leinart won't be put on PS ATL---Bryan Randall (VaTech) or DJ Shockley CAR---Nobody CHI-Nobody DAL--Nobody DET--Nobody GB---Ingle Martin (Furman) or Brian Wrobel (Winona St.) MIN---J.T. O'Sullivan (5 yrs NFL) or Tarvaris Jackson(ALA St.) * NO---Nobody NYG---Jared Lorenzen, the 285 lb. lefty * PHI---Nobody SF---Shaun Hill (5 yrs) or Jesse Palmer (6 yrs.NFL) * SEA---Gibran Hamdan (2 yrs. NFL) STL--- Dave Ragone or Ryan Fitzpatrick * TB---Gradkowski, Jared Allen or Jay Fiedler * WAS---Nobody The intriguing names to me are (1) Ragone-Fitzpatrick from the Rams (a similar offensive system), (2) Navarre or Davey, and (3) What the Jets do with Ramsey-Bollinger (I assume keep Ramsey and cut Bollinger). I liked the way Printers played in the KC game, and I liked Lorenzen when I saw him against 3rd string in the Giants game. That said, we'd be giving experience away in every case by attempting to move up on the 3rd string QB ladder by going for the 4th man out of each scenario.
  8. The ticket's gone. See the rest of you there! Astro
  9. You gotta like Kilgore's term, "CHUNKABILITY"!!! No doubt Evans has it, McGahee has it, and no doubt Holcomb doesn't (dunno about Nall getting big chunks of yards, but I'd like to see him with the first unit).
  10. And with my 21st vote, I pick: Bills vs. Bengals.
  11. I'm refreshing the screen on NFL site, running CCleaner (also known as CrapCleaner)--this takes 2 seconds--and then re-voting.
  12. My brother in law can't make it for tonight's practice at SJF. So I have a ticket to offer. Lemme know via PM by 6:20 EST, and I'll meet you at the entrance. I'll be wearing my Astrobot shirt.
  13. I have CCleaner on my machine. It clears your cookies, temp files, etc. CCleaner It's let me vote 5 times now.
  14. Wonder if you can put a kicker on the PS in case Lindell develops clubfoot, hoof and mouth, or corns.
  15. One more stat: We're the only team in NFL with 3 fumble recoveries by the Defense.
  16. Passing Yards--JP is 4th. Passer Rating--JP is 9th. Rusher Yards--Willis is 9th. Receiving Yards--Evans is 6th, Aiken 14th. Evans has the most yards (115) with the least catches (3) in the NFL. Rushing TD's--We have 3 RB's with 1. No other team has 3 RB's in the top 20. Only one team --Buffalo-- has 5 different players scoring TD's after 2 games--Evans, Gates, Ricard, McGahee, Fred Jackson. Moorman is currently 7th in punts. Nick Setta is 22nd, and has NE's Josh Miller beat, 43.2 yards per punt. Setta is 2nd place in the NFL in Net Average (Nick Harris of DET and Brian Moorman are tied for 1st). Fast Freddie is 19th in punt returns with a 6.7 average. Rookies on the list include Devin Hester (Bears DB) in 2nd place with 21.7 average and 5'6" RB Cory Ross (Ravens)in 4th place with 15.7 average. Andre Davis is 21st in the NFL in kickoff returns with a 24.0 average. Rookies are Leon Washington (Jets RB) in 2nd place with 42.3 average, T.J. Rushing (Colts CB) in 3rd place with 41.0 average, and Wendell Mathis (MIN RB) in 9th. Only 4 teams have 4 different players who've recovered a fumble--BUF (Parrish, Ko Simpson, KiwaukeeThomas, Courtney Watson), BAL, CIN, and NYJ. But 2 of the NYJ and CIN fumble recoveries were by their QB's, and 3 of the BAL fumbles were offense recovering their own fumbles.
  17. Aiken is 14th in the NFL in receiving yards. Evans is 6th. Only Green Bay, Cincy, and New England have two in the top 20. Receiving Stats
  18. I forgot Parrish. You need two wideouts and a slot. Without Pouting Peerless, we'd still have Evans on one side and Aiken/Davis/Nance/Denny on the other. Freddie, Parrish, and Wilson are best out of the slot. We'll be fine.
  19. Peerless has been tried at two other places before this one. I'd be happy with a lineup of Evans, Aiken, Reed, Davis, Fast freddie, and George Wilson, with Denny and Nance on the PS.
  20. Arizona now has Leinart in camp. Would they cut Rohan Davey? 13 Kurt Warner 16 John Navarre 7 Matt Leinart 6 Rohan Davey 17 Jeff Otis
  21. Josh Cooper at DE, while not his rookie year in the NFL, is new to us. He was constantly in the backfield, and contributed on special teams. He and Eric Powell had a good game at DE.
  22. You just gotta come get them soon. PM me. Astro
