  1. Please refer to this list. QB's in their first 3-4 years What I see is that Losman needs more than 17 starts. That's one season's worth. Most of these guys were not great out of the gate.
  2. As TKO said many weeks ago, I guess this means we're in rebuilding mode I like the moves all the way around. It's happening at Bye Week, a good time to do it, and it recognizes the fact we have to get better on the O-Line. You just have the feeling that this will continue into FA and the draft.
  3. Want Some Hedburg? My favorites: · I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map so it won't fall down. · My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them. · I like an escalator because an escalator can never break. It can only become stairs. You would never see an "Escalator temporarily out-of-order" sign. Just "Escalator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience.” · One time a guy handed me a picture of himself, and he said, "Here's a picture of me when I was younger." Every picture of you is of when you were younger. · Dr. Scholl is a doctor, which means he spent nine years in med school. That man wasted his time. It took him nine years to learn that cushions make shoes comfortable. I would have bought that stuff from a Mr. Scholl. · My belt holds my pants up, but the belt loops hold my belt up. I don't really know what's happening down there. Who is the real hero? · I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. · I got in an argument with a girlfriend inside of a tent. That's a bad place for an argument, because then I tried to walk out and slam the flap. · I was in a casino, minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move. You're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit. Unless you are a table. · I would imagine the inside of a bottle of cleaning fluid is really clean. · Last week I helped my friend stay put. It's a lot easier than helping someone move. I just went over to his house and made sure that he did not start to load sh-- into a truck. · I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long. · Rice is great when you’re hungry and you want 2000 of something.
  4. I do, however, have some pictures of my unborn NFL widow to show you.
  5. Okay, then, it was behavior from the limbic system of the brain. Animal-LIKE.
  6. Welcome. The main difference between the two is the Wonderlic.
  7. Man, when did Microsoft switch the exclamation point with the period? Guitarzan's Elavil is workin.
  8. This was a long sentence--but I agree.
  9. All we need is a DT and more LB depth, in addition to more experience. As I've said before, we still can't stop anyone in 4th and short. We're 0 for 5.
  10. Me Neither. I turned the sound down and flipped on 96WCMF radio.
  11. But this time it is. The longest pass in the first half where these guys made the tackle was 11 yds. There were many 1- and 2-yarders as well.
  12. 1. Holding "emerging RB" Chester T to 23 yards, and rushing to 63 (including Brad Johnson running for his life) 2. Angelo Crowell's performance--7 tackles, 3 assists, 1 INT 3. London F-B's INT 4. McGee-Thomas-Whitner-Clements combining for 24 tackles 5. Good pressure by our "Front 5" 6. I also thought Ellison continued showing improvement--He had the first 2 stops in the game, and a ST stop. 7. There were only a few penalties on the defense: PENALTY on BUF-T.Anderson, Defensive Offside, 5 yards PENALTY on BUF-M.Haggan, Offensive Holding, 10 yards PENALTY on BUF-K.Thomas, Defensive Pass Interference, 2 yards PENALTY on BUF-C.Kelsay, Defensive Offside, 4 yards Certainly the best outing for the defense.
  13. Some Quotes from the Vikes' Chat Site: "Losman tossed fro 328 yds a TD and an INT and McGahee rushed for 150 yds. They still lost. That is really laughable. There is no way they're putting those kind of numbers up on the Vikings D....even if they had divine intervention and did it appears they will still lose" "Bills have the ability to be explosive. We can't allow that. We need early pressure on Lossman and to do that we need to stop the run." "I expect a big game from Pat Williams and I expect a big game from our offense. Buffalo has some quality DE's and that has been a weakness for our O-line. They are tall and fast so Brad will have to put some sauce on his passes and not lob them out there like a school girl." "Fletcher-Baker is an animal in the first two games racking up 17 tackles and 3 assists."
  14. I like these. I think JP could use one more lineman now and one more backup. Whether they come from the draft is another question entirely, as I think your starter LT ought to have experience. Witness the Robert Gallery learning curve.
  15. Fixed. Never Mind. I manually installed Flash Player, and it worked.
  16. Maybe somebody can help me see these things. I get the message on youtube: Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player. I have JavaScript turned on in Firefox 1.5 (also tried Win IE), and have Flash player. Thanks in Advance... Astro
  17. I'd be impressed if we could go up the middle on MIN, since the Bears and Panthers couldn't. I do see Royal being integral to our success today. Other than that, the 8-Ball's hazy.
  18. Bills -- Losman, Peerless, and Parrish on O; Schobel, Simpson, Clements on D Baltimore - Not as good as ESPN says they are, but Rivers not ready for Raven's D Indy - Takes care of the Jets like we should've Carolina - Crushes the Saints feelgood story Dallas - Distraction City takes care of "Warren Moon's team" Atlanta -- Leinart will be starting by next Sunday Houston -- Beats Miami at Moulds' biggest game as a Texan Kansas City -- Finally wins one for Herm vs. SF St. Louis -- Beats an improving Detroit by 1 Cincinnati -- Even without DUIBoy and "I didn't take his keys" Chris Henry Jacksonville -- Their D is Better than Williams' Redskin D Chicago-- Seattle has no running game. A 9-6 bore-a-thon Philadelphia -- Favre begins to wonder why he returned
  19. I thought the DE (#49) from Purdue made it a game yesterday against Notre Dame. Anyone catch that one?
  20. Thanks for sharing the bio, Rockpile. While I remember Joe Foerguson, I'm old enough to be losing the excellent details you provided!
  21. I'm going to say that Schobel gets a sack today. Kelsay-Denney have six, I think, and attention is going to go their way. Plus Schobel is going against the weaker side of their line (Hicks-Johnson). Hutchinson-Birk-McKinnie is on the Kelsay-Denney side.
