They lost Isaiah Hodgins who has size to keep Jake Kumerow a strictly special teamer. Adding talent at WR is a given. O line is average at best.

Spot on article on where/what things went wrong this season
Nitro replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier comes up small and too passive against the top offenses in those three games. He does not want them to get burned but is willing to die by a thousand cuts. McD seems to support the defensive philosophy. If he did not, Frazier should have been gone after the infamous 13 seconds debacle. -
Be realistic. White was not up to his previous level of play. It is not physical but mental. Give him the off season to get his game back. Not ready to kick him to the curb but he was average upon his return. Patience is needed.

Why isn't Frazier interviewing for Head Coaching positions?
Nitro replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier's age is the reason. NFL is trending on young (30s) HC. If he was twenty years younger, he would get interviewed. Time to think about retirement. -
First pick will be a WR. I agree OL in round two. Need talent at those positions. Rest of the draft will depend on who left as FA. Face it there will be probably 25 guys gone. New cap is unknown but Beane said they are 20 million over what is projected. It will be an interesting off season.

Saffold said guys were "exhausted" this week and "out of gas"
Nitro replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
As someone who lost friends while on the Army, these things take a toll. You might seem fine but you are mentally and emotionally worn out. I could tell that they were running on fumes last week. They needed a break but unfortunately that is not how things work in the NFL -
I posted that I should have clarified already
-
That is okay. I should have been specific
-
You are looking at the wrong play. Deep pass where he wrestles the ball away is my point
-
The TD in the endzone? He literally took the ball away from the guy. He fought for it for ten yards to wrestle it away in the end zone.

KC nor CIncinnati have stud RBs. They have good WR corps. Who says this is fantasy football? The NFL is a passing league but every draft there is a top RB being touted in the first round but you get value all trough the draft. Pacheco for KC is a seventh rounder. Bills NEED a WR2. Davis is more of a WR4 until he improves his catching percentage.
-
He did pretty well with defenders on him. TD against Pittsburgh as an example.
-
Hines, with a full training camp, will help indeed. I agree Brown is still developing and is solid at RT. I think, reading between the lines, that Singletary is gone. Edmunds, while they would love to have him, would be hard to keep. If he leaves the Bills are in a deep hole defensively and next years schedule is brutal. Overall an honest. GM terms, press conference. I am not as pessimistic as others on TBD.
-
In modern day NFL football you need two stud WRs. A RB is a luxury when you have one of the poorest performing O lines. Cook will be the RB1 next season. Which is an advantage. A receiving threat as well as a running one. You can have your opinion but the Bills need upgrade at O line and WR if they want to win a Super Bowl. Many of these mock drafts are silly opinions.
-
That is an inane take.
-
RB is taken care of with Cook. SIngletary probably will walk. O line is a major need as is a number 2 WR. They may bring in a FA to add depth. Holes will be made in the rosters turn over which averages 25-30% in the NFL.
-
Need interior O linemen and WR. RB is a luxury they can not afford.

This loss does not bother like last year's loss. That game they had the victory in hand only to let it slip away. Going into this game this team was battered physically and emotionally. I was outwardly saying they were gong to win but in my gut I knew they were gong to lose. The first drive for each team cemented the gut feeling. Beane has to realize scrap heap salvage O linemen do not win championships. Draft better OGs! The defense can not play soft coverage like Frazier loves to do. Bengals run a similar defense and covered the Bills receivers better. Changes are coming. Bills turnover around 25% of the roster so familiar names will depart. Coaching staff has to be shook up. Frazier has peaked and needs to move on. Dorsey has the heat for his offense and game plans. Draft and FA season will be interesting.

I concur that this long season and its issues ending with the Hamlin injury, the team looked emotionally drained.
-
Josh looked really defeated in his press conference.
Nitro replied to bostonadguy's topic in The Stadium Wall
What is odd is the Bills, last off season, brought in big physical players on both lines. The game plan was awful. I give Dorsey a pass due to his first year as OC but I have lost patience with Frazier. -
AS an undersized DT he needs a space eating DT next to him. That is where a problem may have popped up with injuries to Daquan Jones and Jordan Phillips.
-
I think it is the coaches and not the players. Rotating in CBs. McD's achilles heel is his fear of mistakes. Benford and Elam are the future. White is not which is sad.
-
Who are you rooting for next week? Cincy or KC?
Nitro replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
49ers. -
Lindstrom OG was taken 14 and Bradberry C at 18. Lindstrom finally made a pro bowl this year and Bradberry did not get his option picked up. Taking Oliver up grade the interior D line with Star, Harrison Phillips and Jordan Phillips. Oliver is a keeper IMO McD is slow to use young guys. Only way to learn is through play and they will make mistakes.
-
Yet the team needed a compliment to Hughes. 6.5 sacks this year is a solid return for a guy who rotates in. What McD and Frazier wanted out of him is a different conversation.
