Hodgins or Gabe? Who will have the better career? (Poll)
Nitro replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
Davis came in with a limited route tree and that has not changed. Hodkins is similar in talent. Davis benefits from having a better QB. Irked that they kept Kumerow over Hodkins. I know about ST talent but I liked Hodkins game. -
Odds are they walk away from Poyer and Edmunds. Try draft picks or FAs (cheaper ones). This defense will be in the mid teens and the Bills will try to win with overwhelming offense. Random late night opinion.
-
As many on Two Bills drive opine about Edmunds pro and con, his loss will impact this offense more than they realize. His leaving opens a huge hole and there is no immediate solutions. He has been inconsistent but his presence on the field alters passing games over the middle. This off season will be an interesting one to see the direction the Bills are going to go.

This was a topic of discussion on the NFL network. Guys making lateral moves to improve their stock. Career building technique. Reid like other head coaches want their guys to grow and get experience so they can be a HC in the future.

I enjoy watching Howard since Empire Network days. Some of the morning guys are thin skinned and talk over callers. They should listen to the veteran who is starting to ease into retirement.

Quote from Josh highlighting the Bills' flawed thinking...
Nitro replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think "be like them" is misunderstood. They got rid of Hill and replaced him with several cheaper but talented WRs. Not scheme but how to retool and exploit the flaws of the opponent. Like the quick passes that made the vaunted pass rush of Philly a non factor. Build a team what you want it to be and win! -
He says things to get folks riled up. I ignore this tool bag.

Draft two O linemen it the top four rounds. Add two WR and the Bills will be ready on offense.
-
It was well received by the group I was watching the game with. She is not my kind of singer but it was interesting and entertaining show.
-
I do not blame the officials. There were multiple plays on that drive that the Philly defense allowed KC to advance the ball. The second half, the Eagles stalled on both sides of the ball. That game was good at showing the best and worst of the NFL. If you do not like the pregame activities tune in at kick off. This is a game long event for fans and non fans. The half time show is definitely to bring in people who normally do not watch football.
-
I saw O linemen do take downs and they were not called. NFL officiating is so uneven.
-
I watched and found it to be a tepid game. The holding call was 50/50. The bad punt in the beginning of the fourth quarter and subsequent 65 yard return was the game changer for me.

I get your frustration. There is a vocal few that make me roll my eyes. Roll with it by scrolling right by the inane takes, rants and emotional reactions. Debate and discussion is fine. I enjoy it.

UPDATED - v3.0 (FINAL) on p.13 - Gunner's 2023 Mock Draft
Nitro replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trade back to the early second round. Pick up a diamond in the rough WR and get extra picks. -
25 years old. You can do better and younger in the draft or FA.

If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
Nitro replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD will not dump him. Frazier will be back with his feet of clay, passive pass defenses and fans will suffer through a season schedule that is brutal. I do not feel optimistic about 2023 with him as DC. -
7 drops is a lot but what about the other passes he did not catch? Were they broken up? Bad passes? Ran the wrong route? I think the team breaks down the performance of each player and whatever short comings they have, it will be pointed out on video and the coaches will take steps to correct them. Davis is worth keeping and fixing.

His car quit on him when he was headed home.
-
I heard on NFL network that he refuted the rumor. These leaks can lead to embarrassment.
-
Good for him and the Texans.

Would you resign Edmunds or a tackle?
Nitro replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Edmunds loss would open a huge hole on defense. A FA RT is not a need. Brown is growing and learning. He had growing pains but I think he will be a solid RT. -
Cowboys looking for an OC - part ways with Moore

He was not the problem. Dak was the issue. -
Im convinced its coaching (Chiefs showing how to handle Bengals)
Nitro replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD is entering a make or break season. This past one was under cut by injuries, weather and Hamlin's terrifying health scare. IMP they did a good job getting wins. The sloppy play and mistakes led to two losses. Playoffs are different. I have been underwhelmed by the coaching in the past three playoffs. No changes, plays or wrinkles. Attack mode on defense. Both KC and Bengals were very aggressive. Frazier is not an aggressive coach. Feet of clay. Time to bring in a new guy to groom for the job.
