If you look at the drafts from 2019 through 2022 the drafts by the Chiefs and the Bengals were okay. Bengals benefited from being awful and got Burrow, Higgins and Chase. Chiefe had average drafts with their center as their biggest hit. Beane drafted plenty of starters.

Context. Needs to the team versus talent in the draft. Some drafts do not have the talent you want but you get the best available. Take Epenesa. They needed a pass rusher. Did not have one on the roster to pair with Hughes. When the Bills were up in the second round, he was it. If you look at the guys taken after him you will find roll players. No impact players. Saying it was a bad draft is flaccid without the totality of analysis.

Reviewing a draft without context is foolhardy. Look at his drafts compared to the other teams and he has done a good job.

Diggs is emotional but I was on his side today. Allen's throws were off. Diggs could have had a few deep throws. I think that elbow injury affected Allen's mechanics.

Every off season there are changes. This was a team poised to go win a Super Bowl. Purge will include name players but you have to reload quickly with younger guys if you want to make a championship run.

Big changes have to be made. Dump the old and draft younger talent. This was not to be this year. Congratulations to the Bengals.

My big worry was the Bills would fall behind early. Just like in Cincinnati. Frazier learned nothing from that. I hope the Bills have one more miracle.
