Agree there has been no shots down the field it seems & it is playing right into the other teams plans of shutting down the offense . Where are the speed guys in the play calling ? Gimmick plays aren't going to get it ! Use the speed to make the opponents D respect the long ball every once and again any way ...

I didn't watch the entire game i am working in Canada the next 3 weeks and didn't find the game until late so i wasn't able to notice who exactly had more snaps than other players . But there are a couple of things that i think i have noticed and if i am wrong please tell me so . 1 . last season Ty Johnson was a stud & when ever i have been watching i haven't seen him used much at all they have had the rookie Davis getting more snaps than him . I did see him score against the Ravens but that wa about it . The other thing is I thought Valdez Scantling and even Samuel were brought in in part for their speed and to be utilized in some respects to take the top off the D & at least keep them honest but i haven't seen 1 pass deep this season or have i missed some of those to either of them ? It's almost like they know the Bills won't throw deep so they can rush Josh more consistently, which makes me think if they did at least attempt a deep pass it might take some pressure offo fo Josh . Then last in the Ravens game it was like they were only using certain players and not getting others more involved, distribution seems to be kept to a certain few & teams are keying on them knowing that they are the money guys and others players aren't included in the plan to take some pressure off those people . One of the games they said 9 different players were targeted by Josh but the last 2 games it doesn't seem to be like that . All the hype of bringing in players like Samuel, Hollins, was suppose to be a help but to this point Hollins has 1 TD but has a bunch of drops I'd rather see them go to Knox he's much more dependable & bring up Shavers and give him a legit shot . Please let me know if i'm looking at this from the complete wrong angle or if i have any substance in this thinking . Thanks !!!

My answer is how can we tell ? The last game Brady didn't utilize the personal that he had available ! Knox was a none factor, Johnson scored on the 1 time he was handed the ball, Valdez Scantling never was used to do what he was brought in to do stretch the field, and Samuel wasn't used for much more than a trick play . They stayed with what they used in the first 3 games the ones that scored & the ones the Ravens and for that matter the ones all other teams would have doubled and did . Mack Hollins should be put on the practice squad for a couple of games because of all the drops he had & bring up one of the other WR's to give them a chance and after Cook dropped the ball maybe sit him & use the combo of Johnson he was money last year & the rookie for a quarter, Cook is good but his drops kill the offense !

This isn't the same staff ! New coordinators on both sides of the ball & 1 is a rookie DC so that statement is totally untrue !! And by the way you never answered my question i asked you ! Who would be the miracle coach that that you would put in place once you fired McD to change the direction of the team to go straight to a SB ?

I never understood the Oliver pick ?? I thought well John Randal was a under sized D Linemen and he reaked havoc enough to be a HOF player but they are once in a lifetime i guess . Ed is a good player but no way a HOF player and you need a guy like that in the middle of the D line . 288 lbs on a NFL D Line ain't gonna get it today I think he'd be better utilized as a DE in some situations . I thought they may have used Groot in there or at least tried him in there when they saw he wasn't producing on the out side but i didn't see him drop inside unless i missed it . Hopefully they can learn from it and make the proper corrections ...

It's not just Kincaid, Knox has been none existent in this offense pretty much, & then Ty Johnson is another weapon that was a stud last year which is why htey brought him back but the only time i remember him being used last nigh was when he scored then after that nothing . Skantling was brought in for what i thought was the speed guy Samuel too, to take the top off of the opposing D but he hasn't been used much at all either & after last nights performance from Hollins when they really could have used his 3 or so drops i'm not sure i would be looking his direction any time soon . Maybe it's just a chemistry thing and later in the year Josh will get connected with them but last night wasn't a good showing for any of these guy s mentioned and the Ravens were keying on the ones that got used in the prior games which is what teams do so why not utilize the others ?

I sometimes wonder if Damar is getting a bit of preferential treatment, I wonder if he hadn't had the incident that happened to him if he would still be with the team ? I know he knows this D better than the new recruits but is his ability where it needs to be or is he truly a back up elevated because of what happened ? I'm very happy that he is back playing football and his health looks to be great, but i can't help but wonder about the hole situation sometimes . Or am i missing his developmental potential at his position ?

Maybe Beane learned something from watching the kid go to KC that they let go . Bass was just resigned so they would be out his contract money so i'm not sure we will see a new kicker unless Bass just really stinks up the joint . There has been a smell developing though .

Well maybe if one of them get dinged they can talk Mika into coming back he knows this D better than most and is a great teacher too ... Plus he should be well rested by now .

I agree after seeing what Hollins did last night it's no wonder he was a free agent the thing that bugs me is though they didn't utilize all of their personal Skantling was brought in for his speed didn't see his number called, Samuel is a fast guy didn't see him trying to stretch the field at all, Knox might have sat the bench, Ty Johnson scored and they didn't call his number again ?? If they could get Cooper for the price you say they can yah sure let's go but how about trying to use what is available before you restock the cupboard .

Knox & Kincaid returning yep you right second year player with a new coordinator & his entire scheme & by the look of last night Braday has all but forgotten about Knox, Samuel although a vet is learning a entirely new offense, and chemistry is not something that is developed in a couple of games . And in the pre season do you mean 3 games that Josh had exactly ONE series in yep now that a lot of time to build in game chemistry . So please tell me who di you pick that could walk into McD's spot and have the instant gratification that you so desire ? I mean the minute that they enter the building everything points to a Lombardi that we all want . The coach in Jacksonville a SB winning coach is doing a great job in his second year, Um I see Denver going to a SB with their SB winning coach this year don't you ? There's only 1 coach that MAYBE just might be able to walk in the door and give you what you want immediately but he's not quitting his job in KC & i don't se Shanahan leaving SF any time soon . I've got to say i agree with you, Knox didn't get 1 look last night I'm as confused as you it's not like they don't have weapons then wasn't Ty Johnson used very sparingly & last year he was a beast, plus scored last night so why not use that a lot more ? I'm with you !!

Williams has been another nice find by Beane but he's not up to All pro status yet . What i think it scary is if the have Bernard, Millano & Williams on the field at the same time that could be scary ...

And the 4 AFC championships & not loosing a game until last night by more than 7 points in some 40 some games & being in the play offs for what 6 years in a row yah he sucks you got me !! Oh too the entirely new WR room & 2 new coordinators, injuries to all pro players too this year nothing to over come there . Sorry i forgot about those things .

I'm with you ! With all the new pieces in most every part of this team not including the injuries they have endured to this point it's going to take a minute for every one to get the chemistry it takes in the NFL, but if we thought in any way this team was going to go out & be 17-0 (which for some here that wouldn't even make them happy) that's just crazy . I think this loss - well ass whooping will give them the motivation to take on the apparent short comings that were exposed last night, i feel they will learn from it going forward plus getting healthier will also be a plus . But the Ravens showed they are for real but like every other team in the NFL they have their weaknesses that can be exploited as shown in their first couple of losses but i think the Bills will see them again & learn from this game to take on & use later this season ... GO BILLS !!!!

To add to that i didn't see Knox targeted at all last night & he is a above average TE IMHO . If they are focusing on all your normal guys why not utalize your other weapons and quite possibly take some pressure off the ones they are targeting ? I believe the Bills have the weapons to off set the kind of pressure they got last night but it wasn't a very good game plan . Valdez Scantling was brought in for his speed and the deep ball haven't seen him or the deep ball yet, Ty Johnson's speed around the edge was used with success last night but only 1 time, Knox didn't even get a sniff and did they even incorporate the extra lineman to slow down the rush last night ? I think there were a lot of advantages that were not used last night but hopefully they learn from it moving forward .
