The prices of gas were well below what they are now and below what they were when Joe was VP and stayed low for the last couple of years + that Trump was in office and soon after Joe took over and he shut down the Keystone PL construction gas started to rise to pre Trump prices . So if what your saying is correct then prices will be going down pretty soon so let us all sit and wait to see just how long that takes and we'll get back with you when it does . If the POTUS don't control the price of gas then why 4 months after Joe took over was gas prices back up to the price they were when he was VP ? Could it be from him shutting down the Keystone so we had to depend on other country's for gas or was it al the money in the stimulus that went to the new green deal thing for the electric cars not sure but it probably helped gas prices go up . And please tel me exactly how tariffs work enlighten us with your immense knowledge of such things . Especially seeing as i have no clue how they work or why . I'll be waiting for your in-depth knowledge on this subject with a explanation so i can know how they work . IMHO (which i have no clue about) the tariffs were put on the chinese because most every thing they were sending here was (for the sake of conversation) half of what it cost to make products right here in the US . Being a business man (meaning the former Pres.) seeing what was going on as far as huge price differences between what the US product prices were & chinese prices were was why the tariffs were put on the imports to make chinas product price be more comparable to Americans to level the playing field and he had the balls to do it . I believe that the lifting of the tariffs was 1 of the first 52 executive orders (which was nearly the most of any POTUS in the first 100 days) that Joe signed undoing those tariffs which could be the reason for the 13% price increase on products coming in from China . Or it's just china doing it and Joe not having the balls to enforce them it's either one of the 2 but anyway it's awfully funny that after the change in administrations that gas prices increased by $1.00 back to the same price when Joe was VP pipe lines are getting hacked and money is being doled out to the hackers and now another price increase for product from china . And that's not to mention the other stuff that's been going on since the first of the year. I mean this could all be the former POTUS fault but seeing as he's not in charge any more I'm not sure how but i'm sure you are or will at least try and tell me your opinion .

My brother works at a company that has 7 stores that consists of HVAC & plumbing & he's been there for some 25+ yrs he got a call from one of his major suppliers that get the bulk of their supplies from Chinese manufacturing companies . The call was to inform him that because of the tariffs that were put in place to level the business playing field as far as American companies being able to compete monetarily with the Chinese & now being done away with by our new president that as of the first of July there will be a 13% price hike in all product that he buys from this supplier and more than likely any other suppliers that get product from china . Then not only that but to add insult to injury during the call the man told him there is a very good possibility that they will tack on a FU percentage of about 7% to bring the total to 20% across the board just to make up for the money the Chinese lost in the 4 yrs prior due to the tariffs . I'm so glad that our beloved president is doing the people of our country such a great job and has the balls to stand up for us ! So far since he's been in office for the short time he has gas prices have went back up to what they were 5 yrs ago & that was even before they hacked the pipe line & now that they allowed them to pay the hackers they have done the Beef industry the same way which will show up in paying out more for groceries . YAY !! Then now this ! Any heating, AC, or plumbing costs for materials will go up and the contractors will have to charge more to cover those costs. So what's next a $15 minimum wage so workers at McD's can make better money and have that go up too ? Not to mention all the cash they have spent on the stimulus FOR ALL even if they didn't need it along with unemployment & the possible "Infrastructure Bill" that only 7% of the entire thing goes to actual infrastructure . Boy the future is looking so much brighter now aren't we all so glad this administration is doing such a great job to allow all of us to keep more money in our pockets i know i am 🙄 . Oh to this of you that cause democrat or republicans it doesn't matter if this was a democrat or republican president i would be saying the same thing because who ever it would be "We the People" would be getting the short end of the stick !! Well it's a drug that stops pain so you can play so it is in a way enhancing your ability when your body says you can't play because of pain those drugs are much different & stronger than Tylenol or advil sos it would seem they shouldn't be abe to use those especially an injection form . Yep your right we all have had family members that have given their time in the military and fought for American freedom for which i am very thankful for and i know their view of what's going on is much different than most . Yet it's okay to have a illegal immigrant step on or spit on the American flag but if a military person goes to stop them from doing so they can go to jail for standing up for what they fought for Then those in the riots in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, & so on burn the flag in their "Peaceful Demonstrations" as they were called by their politicians voted into office . They were allowed to continue these "Peaceful Demonstrations" and burn down gov't buildings and break into them like they did here in Nashville but that was okay because it fits . They were "Peaceful protesters" but when the crazy's on the other side do something like that it's called a "Insurrection" and troops are brought in to sleep in garages to protect those that allow it showing their respect for the that protect the country and that's okay too . So although things look very similar in your mind they are totally different yet we are both Americans and i have the same inalienable right s that you do so continue to get pissed off and write your cuss words in different signs but there is always 2 sides to every story I will keep my independent view (as i am registered) and continue moving forward instead of always looking or turning the country back to the future as has been done since last January . And you voted for a guy that has no balls what so ever and has single handedly in less than a year in office by his actions made the border worse increased the price of gas by $1.00 and has put our over all outlook back by 5 years . In July of this year China will have a 13% price hike of all that it imports to the US because the tariffs were removed that were to level the playing field financially for american companies but & now because of a weak very friendly Pres. with a Communist country that also gave us a virus that shut down the country the american people will pay the price once again . Then the trillion dollars sent to every one weather they were effected by the Chinese virus or not will be spent mostly in Walmart so they win again . Not to mention your grand kids will be paying that back along with the other trillions each of the form presidents caused while in office and he is now working on another trillion + . The border was good before Joe then he made his promise & now it's all screwed up & Kamala sure isn't helping hell she can't even tell north from south the US was more energy independent then Joe stopped the KS pipeline taking away jobs and now gas is $1.00 more than it was when he took office but the Russians have finished their pipeline and now Germany & others will get their fuel from them . He has also showed his weakness by paying a hacker for the pipeline & now the hackers are going after some beef industry and they will probably pay them too . Not to mention the role back of tariffs on China (Joes Buddy) that in July the chinese will have a across the board 13 % price hike to all imported goods from that S**T hole . So next time (or in the not to distant future) when you go to Walmart the gas station or the grocery store just compare what your paying out now to a year ago & then tell me who the failure is .

Not at all i know his short comings and some of his strong points which is what pisses a lot of people off if you could just get him to shut the hell up & stay off of tweeter and just do the job he would be a lot farther ahead .
