It was proven this season that a vet isn't always the way to go . Harty & Sheffield should be on the first plane out of Bills territory ! Sure they might have a good work ethic, always on time or early but if you can't catch the ball when given the opportunity then it's all for naught . They need to look for rookies that have really good skills bring them in and coach them up it's better for the cap & the future of the team . Beans has found the likes of some really good players late in the draft and will continue to do the same & the rookies seem to develop to do better than the vets because they have something to prove .

Yep and it will prove if he does lose that they should have just moved on from him because like McD he will be just another crappy HC in the NFL because he can't get his team to the big game & just the play offs . Hell he should have been gone last year when the Bills knocked him out of the play offs if they would have fired him last year maybe they would have been in the pay offs this season . Oh hey they are --- but he still sucks ...

I was just reading the average time a coach is given in the NFL to be a winner is 3 years and that fits with Bills fans wanting McD gone, the drought years in B/Lo that was about as long as any of the coaches stayed and it took 17 years well Ralph fired 1 of the better coaches we had but from then till now was way to long . I never understood why any owner would fire a winning coach even if they have a bad season i would rather be a winner and make the play offs than be on the out side looking in . If your not in the play offs you have no chance of making it to the big game at least if your in it you have a better chance at winning it . To this point the 13 second game was the best this team has looked, i think that laps was more on Frazier playing like a prevent D rather than being aggressive & that is one big reason why Frazier is gone & McD took over because he realized although being #1 D in the NFL is a good thing crunch time is when it counts . But i as a Bills fan would be totally happy with 1 SB win yes yes yes ... But i am not willing to go backwards to get it ! There is no guarantee by changing the HC that they have any better chance at getting there than with what they have here now . The stability to me is huge which i feel is one reason why teams like the Steelers, Baltimore, Bills, Pats (for a long time) and other teams are successful because they don't have a lot of change when they find something that works .

If Hines does come back then get rid of Harty, he for sure can't be any worse than Harty was at running back kicks . But with that i would rather see Ty Johnson come back the guy was a improvement for the running game this year but kick returns could be much better !!

The guy that was hired to run ST's needs to be gone ! This version of ST's has been nothing but a dumpster fire most of the year and it was better with some of the players that are on the team but since they got this guy not so much .

No one has a long long time in the NFL but we have a good amount of time with Josh being what 27 ? How long did it take Elway to win a championship & he retired when he was 38 so there's 11 years if Josh stays healthy . Favre was 41 some say he stayed to long but he was Farve till the end you could never count the guy out . So it's not like Josh only has 3 more years, sure i would like just the same as all the Bills fans to win a SB but i'm not willing to continually start all over with the coaching thing . We lived 17 years of that crap & we finally have a good team as far as Beane & McD and the Pegs are willing to give them each everything they need to win, so i'll live right where we are until they get there or just can't have winning seasons & think they will get there .

Beans said they won't be making ay splashes in FA and after the Sheffield/Harty experiment i can say i can't really blame them . Beans has 10 draft picks i'm sure he has already started & may even know the guy they would like in the draft or guys on their radar . Given where the cap is & all i could see a heavy influx of rookies & rookie UDFA this season, until they can get Von & Diggs money paid out Beane will have to work is magic & cheap rookie labor is the best solution moving forward because the Bills aren't getting any younger literally .

What do you want ? The defense this year under McD was much more aggressive and i would be totally willing to bet you that if Millano, Tre, Jones, and Von would have been at 100% this season the Bills would still be playing right now . Then given what happened with Dorcey getting fired if you didn't notice difference in the offense after that then you need to rematch the games . If Brady is kept on as the OC which i for one hopes does happen plus given what Josh, Kalil, & other players have said in their endorsements of Brady i would like to see 100% of his version of offense with Josh . So there's 2 things that have changed just this season which i'm pretty sure with all healthy this team would be better . McD isn't the one that told Brady to run he said in his interview they are a pass first team & you have to pass to win but you need a good run game too in order to win which was another change when Brady took over . I feel they look at themselves and their choices harder than anyone else ever could because they both had to always do better to get where they are & they learned under some of the best coaches out there Reid, Johnson, and others . So i'll give him the time rather than throwing away all the progress we've made .

Then if you've devoted that much time you should put in a application because i'm sure you with all your years watching the NFL know more than the players & coaches, from what you just posted . Maybe you could get hired . With all that being said, do you realize how much tape players & coaches watch to be elite NFL players & coaches ? I'm not real sure but i will leave it to those to do what they have dedicated their entire adult life to be over a fans opinion but hey that's just me . I just like you as a Bills fan have put my blind faith in coaches that i thought were going to take the Bills to the promise land & didn't even get close . So that makes total sense ! He has faith in the players (starters & Depth) that are practicing to be depth players (Next man up) if he didn't they wouldn't be there RIGHT ? And this year & last they did a decent job just not like their pro bowlers would have done or did while they were playing before getting hurt . And although you have depth players why in the hell wouldn't you want the team in general to be healthier when you have 4 pro bowl players at critical positions in order to be a great D hurt ????? You want your pro bowl players on the field period, so after 3 of them going down and 1 trying to get back to full strength from a ACL injury on a pitch count and even a healthy scratch at 1 point that's wrong to think you would rather have them healthy & not hurt ????? Still ? After what McD & Beane just did as a coach & GM in tandem kept the team together and getting the players to fill holes to go on a run to win 6 in a row you people are unbelievable ungrateful for what it took just to get to the play offs this year ... I just watched the Kelsey brothers pod cast they were giving the Bills HUGE praise & respect on how good they were despite all the injuries, I wish fans could see it just crazy . Yah McD should have went out on those plays that Diggs, Cook, & Sheffield dropped those passes & caught them for them & kicked that last kick too what a POS for him to let his players miss those !!

Exactly Brady was put in a situation where he had to go with the play book they had instead of his plays . He may have tweaked a couple of things which is why Diggs numbers dropped a bit plus knowing the O line was healthy and playing well found that the run game would help some deficiencies else where . I hope they keep Brady, Josh sounded almost excited when asked if he would endorse them keeping him as OC it could be a very good match . Then add a couple really good, young WR's in the draft could be very dangerous and different looking from the Double D offense although they both had their moments !!

I can remember seeing him play in GB he has always been a really good player & when he came here i was stoked I had never heard much about Poyer and with the injury he had while playing for the Browns i was a bit concerned but he proved him self for sure . Then when the 2's chemistry started to build i think we knew they were a special tandem of safeties and were a force to help turn the Bills around . After last season and the possibility of him coming back if they went deeper in the play offs there's nothing he needs to prove, he didn't play up to his standard i think this year and he knows it so i think he may have played his last game in the NFL . Hyde may not be a HOFer but he will always be a Bills WOFer and for ever a part of the Bills Family and a player the Bills Mafia will always cheer for .

13 & 3 in 2022 - 11 & 6 in 2023 - plus each of those years was a AFC East division Championship yah it sucked .

I don't know what happened to Diggs but he wasn't near the guy he was ever since he's been here & as far as Sheffield goes from the hype there was when they signed him & what he could be didn't come around i wouldn't bring him back ! Overtime he had a chance to show what he could bring to the team he would literally drop the ball so there is no second season needed send him on his way !! Id rather see what Shorter could bring than keep him around ...

There is going to be a ton of turn over next year a lot of the players we had this year are gone i'd almost say as much as 1/3 of the team if you think about it . A lot of the guys at the end of their contracts won't be back like Hyde, Epenessa, Gabe, Jones, Floyd, Settle, Phillips, Matakevich, Sheffield, Harris, Rapp, Joseph, Lawson, Murray, K. Allen, Lewis, Morris, Klien, Hines, are all some kind of FA next season then if they decide to move on from Tre & or some others that's 20 players that might not be here . Totally different team .
