  1. Agreed. And if one of you doom and gloomers want to crap on Ice's post, please step-up your game and stop using any G'damn references to Kool Aid. Get creative with your bitching for a change!
  2. They're playing him at guard.
  3. No, they needed Spiller because the Bills have not one single playmaker on their team - zero. There's not one player that an opposing DC fears on our team - no one to game plan for. This kid had some 20 touchdown runs of over 50 yards! That's 20 more than either of our guys have. For the first time in years, we have a playmaker and a gamechanger. That's why they took him.
  4. Thank God for Billsguy for helping us poor delusional sheep see clearly. Nothing's changed at all at OBD! We'll always suck and the truthsayers that are Clayton, King and Sullivan are to be to be paid homage for their wisdom. So grab a cup at the punchbowl and hoist a toast to Billsguy and ponder the question why he isn't "Jetsguy" or "Patsguy" if our team is as pathetic as he believes.
  5. Don't pass over the research areas so easily. It shows that those "jounalists" are just mouthing what the rest of their ilk is muttering. I heard the same doom and gloom when the Bills hired a "losing" coach in Marv Levy. Chan has won on every level and Buddy has a proven track record picking talent. They are the guys looking at our players and it's their plan. Clayton's not here and knows squat about building a team. He confuses activity with results. We'll see how much "better" the AFC East became with their expensive signings. And by the way, I didn't know the off season was over.
  6. I'm also having a hard time finding any holes in this statement. What could have been................
  7. I guess speed is the issue with Coleman so we'll see. I'd like to really see what Nic Harris can do. He's smaller, but not Keith Ellison small. He played with a nasty streak before getting hurt. Being a converted safety, he would be great in coverage. He's a good hitter and I hope we can give him a chance in this new scheme.
  8. Of course I have no standing to rate where a player should play, but I was surprised by the immediate assigning of Moats to the ILB spot. He seemed to have some more speed and coverage ability to at least warrant a look at OLB. Also not sure if they have him backing up Poz or looking at him at backing up (and eventually taking over for) Andra Davis at the Mike LB spot.
  9. I'm having a very difficult time finding any holes in the above argument. Maybe A. Maybin becomes the next C. Bennett, but, um....I think I"m with Dr. Fong on this.
  10. True, but that entertainment you speak of is brought about by a team winning, not by making the building process fun for fans who post opinions but don't know jack about how to build a team. Donahoe gave us lots of activity during the offseason but squat results. Nix could care less about fans like you wailing and spitting about getting this guy or that guy. Nix has forgotton more about football than you or I will learn in our lifetimes. He's building a team to entertain you by winning and not playing patty cake during the offseason to keep you interested. Sit back and enjoy the ride because you have zero input. That said, you can carry on all you want but evoking the names and arguments you originally posted will get you a thread of ridicule like this one everytime.
  11. Your post says far more about you than it does Donte Whitner. You are a perfect example of what's wrong with this board. I'm no fan of Donte, but to call him a retard......your post is pathetic, insulting and offensive. Easy to throw out such names. tough guy, when nobody knows who you are. Love to see you address Donte that way, but you'd wet yourself. Try thinking before writing. Say what you have to say, however strong and pointed, and say it like you would to that person's face.
  12. Yeah, you're right, what was I thinking? BillsFan74 is dead nuts on this! If we can only rally around getting Mike Vick, Marcus Spears and John Henderson, we'll be just fine and the FO will be brilliant and we'll have stuff to post about..........yeah! Now I see clearly.........
  13. You probably said the same thing and wrung your hands in angst and defeat when they hired that "loser" coach Marv Levy. Get a grip man and don't let Schopp, Sullivan and Peter King do your thinking for you.
  14. Hey Billsfan74. Don't confuse activity with results. Nix is building a football team, not working to keep you entertained during the off season.
  15. It's an affront when the writers and radio losers do no thinking or analysis but simply p*ss and moan and slam anything and everything. So what if the Jets sign a fading LT? Why is that evidence that our FO inherently sucks? Sully, Schopp and the like don't think, they react - and p*ss on anyone who dares think all is not so awful. Effete and negative to enrage the bulls I suppose. I like to engage in honest criticism but they confuse criticism for character assasination. It's like listening to Rush interview Glenn Beck for days at a time. Enough - it cant be all so terrible!
  16. That sums it up perfectly. Jerry's in the entertainment business, not journalism. And he knows you draw more flies with sh*t than sugar. He is very smart and very good writer but a far better self promoter and entertainer for his employers.
  17. I read the article, of course it's a Bill's employee writing it. But I did get the sense that the easy. country-club, no-hit training camp days are over. Seems like Chan likes to get physical and teach that at camp. I like that.
  18. When it becomes devoid of analysis and research into why something is done and becomes a constant blare of negativity because the FO does something the media deems wrong. If we don't sign a QB in the first round....we suck.....blah, blah. They don't report, the B word.
  19. Whatever. Yet another reason why this board hates Peter King. His research is superficial and he writes whatever everyone else is saying. I don't take him seriously, but frankly I like where he has us. He's wrong and it will be a fun ride to see where we finish.
  20. He was a beast at DT back in the day. At Six-Five, 277 a prototypical DE in a modern 3-4. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/
  21. What columns are you reading? "Positive" and Sully don't mix! I've read Felser for many decades. He dished out criticism when it was called for and kudos when things went well. He never had the corrosive, ridiculing and Ad Hominem ways of Sullivan. Sully is the little cloud that cried and enjoys p*ssing in everyone's cheerios daily. And it's a shame he's such in a negative funk because he's very smart and often right. There's no need to be the downward spiral he's become.
  22. I remember Felser in his heydey and he called as he saw them...but was never as dripping, sour and incessently negative as Sullivan. Sully never has a good day where things go right. Felser had plenty of them.
  23. Jeez Gabe do you ever have a day that's not full of 3-4 linebacker woe or ill will against the FO? Relax, I think the kids are alright!
  24. Yeah, Chan should pull all the TV's out of McFaddens tonight! Great thread. Put me in the "surprised as Hell" column if Wood can come back this soon after that brutal injury!
  25. Here's another vote for paragraphs. It's a return key - lower right side of the keyboard. Also try grammar with sarcasm. It's "you're" not "your" for crying out loud!
