  1. Very good point. If we drafted one of them we'd still bemoan the QB situation and been debating the NT situation. Spiller gives us a true offensive weapon - one that other OC's have to game plan for - for the first time in a decade. Buddy and Chan know that this is year one of the rebuild. Fans have to get comfortable with that. I wonder if it were Cowher playing the same cards as Chan is now would there be so much angst?
  2. Sorry to be so negative? When the Hell have you ever been positive? That said, the troll has a point. This is a Hell of a gamble and the only way I make sense of it is to remember Buddy and Chan have forgotten more about football than I'm ever going to learn.
  3. Amen. I want to see this team get tougher, faster, improve and produce every week. Chan and Buddy have a plan and deserve fan support.
  4. You may not agree with him but it's a well reasoned piece and a far cut above most national writers. He was a NFL scout and that lends some cred to his opinions. Hope he's wrong but it is a good read.
  5. Why in the world would you want to trade the only threat we have as a wideout? On a decent team with real coaches and and a real QB Evans would be a star.
  6. You and I will be at odds a plenty on this board, but I like a good fan rant every now and again and this was a beauty! I mean, teal & pink.....says it all. I always will root for the Jets over the phish.
  7. In.""Paradise Lost" Satan says "It's better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven." That said, I admire Chan and think he is as serious as a heart attack about making this team a winner. He's got a winning track record, a soild plan and a partner in GM Buddy Nix. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and more importantly, my support while he remakes this team.
  8. If Sullivan's job were to write about his family he'd throw his wife, kids and dog under the bus daily.
  9. Second thread in a row....you get a +1.
  10. Both are remarkable comebacks. I had a similiar surgery as McGee had and it took a year to heal and longer than that to regain strength in the shoulder. Slamming to the turf or into a running back is hard to imagine with that surgery. Then again I wasn't in my twenties and all muscle.
  11. Nice work! I tried to do something like that once and it ended up looking like a digital BM. BTW, the OP is a Troll!
  12. Boiled down, I think this is pretty accurate. Many will bash this as the Bill's are too cheap to sign top FAs or that FA won't come here because we suck. I just think a big name FA wants to go to a conender and that, for now, ain't us. So your basic premise is true, FA's won't come here as our FO hasn't shown we know what we are doing for more than a decade. I happen to think that is changing now. Nix is doing it right and the slow build of a team with a solid core is what will win for us. Stay the course Buddy and damn the torpedoes of those who what big name FA's.
  13. This pretty much sums up the DJ era. Play not to lose. Good post.
  14. Mpi6876 specializes in p*ssing on cheerios and likes to bait any positive posters. Just ignore him. He sings the same tune every post. I thought it was Jerry Sullivan at first but he doesn't write any where as well. Just ignore him like many of us do.
  15. Running underneath crossing patterns is hard in the NFL.
  16. Gee, why not go all the way and hold your breath as well. That'll show'em.
  17. Spinal Stenosis is as serious as a heart attack. It is the narrowing of the channel the spinal cord travels inside the back bone - either by some impingement or degeneration of the spinal vertebrae, which crushes in on the cord, causing numbness and loss of feeling in the limbs. In the extreme, it can cause paralysis. Treatment for mild stenosis is usually physical therapy, in more difficult cases, fusing vertebrae, metal bracing, disc replacement. In any case, getting walloped by a 300 pound lineman 40 times a game is not recommended. I’d proceed with caution before sinking mega bucks into a LT with any stenosis.
  18. At the end of the day this is the bottom line. KW is a good player with heart and energy. But he's not going to line up and push two guys bigger than he is into the backfield 40 times a game. If the Bills thought so they wouldn't have burned a #2 on Troup. KW will be great on third downs but Troup has to perform from day one for us to have a chance at stopping the run. That said, a front three rotation of Troup, KW, Carrington, Edwards and Stroud looks damn promising.
  19. The OP has it right. Brady looks pretty ordinary when pressured. The Ravens just had their way and so will other teams. They'll be competitive but the glory days are over.
  20. sissy peon, cystapeeing, whatever.....typos I can take but OP should just take terrell, torel, torell and pick one as his primary mistake and run with it. I'm just saying....
  21. It's Torrell Troup. Not Terell, not Torrel or Torel. You have used three names and none of them correct.
