Hey Billsfan74. Don't confuse activity with results. Nix is building a football team, not working to keep you entertained during the off season.

It's an affront when the writers and radio losers do no thinking or analysis but simply p*ss and moan and slam anything and everything. So what if the Jets sign a fading LT? Why is that evidence that our FO inherently sucks? Sully, Schopp and the like don't think, they react - and p*ss on anyone who dares think all is not so awful. Effete and negative to enrage the bulls I suppose. I like to engage in honest criticism but they confuse criticism for character assasination. It's like listening to Rush interview Glenn Beck for days at a time. Enough - it cant be all so terrible!

Do You Believe In Articles ??
Green Lightning replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read the article, of course it's a Bill's employee writing it. But I did get the sense that the easy. country-club, no-hit training camp days are over. Seems like Chan likes to get physical and teach that at camp. I like that. -
Whatever. Yet another reason why this board hates Peter King. His research is superficial and he writes whatever everyone else is saying. I don't take him seriously, but frankly I like where he has us. He's wrong and it will be a fun ride to see where we finish.

What columns are you reading? "Positive" and Sully don't mix! I've read Felser for many decades. He dished out criticism when it was called for and kudos when things went well. He never had the corrosive, ridiculing and Ad Hominem ways of Sullivan. Sully is the little cloud that cried and enjoys p*ssing in everyone's cheerios daily. And it's a shame he's such in a negative funk because he's very smart and often right. There's no need to be the downward spiral he's become.

Some Facts About Tom Modrak
Green Lightning replied to Gabe Northern's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jeez Gabe do you ever have a day that's not full of 3-4 linebacker woe or ill will against the FO? Relax, I think the kids are alright! -
I Met Trent, Brohm and Levitre

Yeah, Chan should pull all the TV's out of McFaddens tonight! Great thread. Put me in the "surprised as Hell" column if Wood can come back this soon after that brutal injury! -
Do the Bills Need a Little F-N-A in our O Line ??
Green Lightning replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's another vote for paragraphs. It's a return key - lower right side of the keyboard. Also try grammar with sarcasm. It's "you're" not "your" for crying out loud! -
I sit corrected!

Debacled? I'm guess I have no choice but to be debacling your post......

What is the chance that we
Green Lightning replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't be surprised to see us keep all three. Chan wants to pound the ball and throw a short passing game ala Brady and the Pats. Slants, sidelines and slot stuff to Spiller will be featured. It's not a bad way to establish a new offense and to make the Bills a tough team to play. Pounding Jackson, Lynch and changing up with Spiller is going to be fun to watch. -
Buddy stated that he wanted a scatback...
Green Lightning replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Long thread for naught. This is not that hard to figure out. They wanted Spiller, he was there, everyone had him well ahead of the other running backs and they took him. Story over. As for the quick decision and short time to make the Spiller pick, why not? If there was going to be a deal done, they would have had it done already. Buddy knows what he wanted and he wanted Spiller and not Best. If Best were the better back, Buddy would have no issue reaching to get him (ala Troup) so really, what's so hard to figure about this? Let's play and settle it. -

How a about avoiding this board because because you are obviously incapable of rational thought and you lower the IQ of TSW with each post. -
The Road not Taken!!!!!
Green Lightning replied to tonyjustbcuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, this reads like the condensed version of the complete works of Jerry Sullivan! You'd think there would be one thing that is right with the team but I guess not. -
Cushing wins re-vote
Green Lightning replied to Delete This Account's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look, JW didn't vote and didn't condone cheating! He merely said the AP was within its right to re-poll the NON-AP writers for a recount. Those writers were wrong, but the AP wasn't and JW shouldn't be beat up by people like you that won't read the damn facts! People like you ran off Tim Graham from our board, so back the Hell off and think before you write. -
We'll it's hard (damn, there it is again) I mean, difficult to ignore when My-Yahoo's headline on my sports section is "Buffalo's Wang Big in China." I defy anyone reading that without an eye-roll.

Sports journalists (sorry JW) to America: It's okay to cheat. I guess Barry Bonds' record is safe. -
our DL is making me very optimistic.
Green Lightning replied to swnybillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The naysayers have yet to hit this post. They will be handwringing over the fact that we have but two players who have ever a played in a 3-4 and some who are moving from DL to LB, etc. They have a point. But defense is defense. Beat your man (or men in a 2 gap) and make a play. We will make mistakes at first, that's fine. But for the first time in a long, long time, we will not bet blown off the line of scrimmage and dominated physically. I like what is happening and really look forward to seeing this team become a tough bunch to play instead of pushovers. -
So if I follow: Poke in eye > Kick in the nads. Therefore, Ellis > Maybin. Mathmatically I think this truly reflects the material world of OLB's on the 2010 Buffalo Bills defense. Wouldn't it be a kick in the nads if Batten > Maybin?
