Justified is one of my faves. Have watched every episode, every season. This premier was a bit off. Felt rushed and a little erratic. The casting for the "Canadians" and Darly Crowe was very odd. I don't think Dave Foley and Will Sasso make for convincing Canadian mobsters and while Michael Rappaport is a fine actor, he can't pull off a southern accent. He should probably just stop trying. The episode was a pleasant reminder about the underrated hotness of Alicia Witt, however.

I think we can do better at the TE position. Scott Chandler is a good TE but if the opportunity arises for the Bills to get a *great* TE, they should not pass that up.

Crossman and Chandler. The Bills need to invest real money in the TE position. The Bills need a Special Teams coach that has shown proven success in defending the returns.

Sigh. My point: NFL teams can put whomever they want on a wall. War vets. Deceased players. Fans that make up fictional men. The Bills can put Thad Lewis on the Wall this Sunday if they want to. The football stats are completely meaningless and perhaps irrelevant. It doesn't matter how many touchdowns or yards Fred Jackson has. If Ralph or the team wants him on *their* Wall, he's on said Wall.

It blows my mind that Kitna entered the league in 1997 as Warren Moon's backup and played in NFL Europe. Holy Awesome 90s. Where's the Zubaz? And Kitna's on a sideline this Sunday again with players who probably didn't even know the NFL had teams in Europe. Crazy stuff.

No comparison, but illustration of a point, my friend. Those gentlemen are on the Wall for other reasons besides what you'll find in the NFL stats. Walls of Fame league wide are filled with players who weren't year in and year out Pro Bowlers, Hall of Famers or even elite football talents. Brian Piccolo really didn't do much on a football field but he's immortilized in Chicago. Don Fleming played in only 38 games for the Browns but had his jersey number retired upon his death. Jerome Brown went to the Pro Bowl only twice and yet had his jersey retired in Philadelphia.

I think some folks are confusing the Bills Wall of Fame with THE Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. To be a member of the Wall of Fame, the HOF numbers are not a requirement. We have the 12th Man and Bob Kalsu on ours, for example. They were put on the Wall not for playing stats but incredible intangibles or contributions to the team. While there are many other examples, the Bears (Brian Piccolo) and the Cardinals (Pat Tillman) also come to mind of teams putting players on the Wall of Fame that didn't have the "stats".

This one is easy. Bring back the 90s uniforms and the red helmets. The Bills and the NFL made the decision to change uniforms in late 2000, to be unveiled in 2002. The die was cast. Hire Dick Enberg for play by play. Whatever it costs.

Don't worry about the Seahawks. They won't win a Super Bowl with Carroll there. Ever. The football gods are not fond of Carroll's willful destruction of USC football and then cutting out and accepting no responsibility for it. Retribution will be coaching teams *this close* but never being rewarded with the prize. Carroll's Seahawk teams will be the 1990s Dolphins.

Haha. Good one. I thought Pacific Rim was an outstanding movie. I loved that the world saw gigantic monsters coming out of the ocean and our response was building even bigger nuclear powered robots to punch them in the face and then throwing the equivalent of a paper bag of crap on fire on the alien homeworld front porch, just for good measure. When you think about alien vs. human movies, we take invasions and aliens *so* personally. Whether it's V or Independance Day, our response is usually hilariously personal and brutal. I think Navy SEALs jumping into NYC is a timid response, considering.

Outside of the lousy Toronto series, I think RB has done a good job. Team has no debt, has a new lease, and for the most part, has kept the team viable when the product on the field has been anywhere from lousy to mediocre. He's made some good plausible football-side hires.

Bradham Legursky Pears Moorman I'm really disappointed in Bradham. I thought that pick was a good one and was hopeful he would turn into a great linebacker coming out of FSU.

It'd be great if we knew what we had in Tony Moeaki. Probably won't though. I've wanted the Bills to invest in a TE for years. Much like FB after Sam Gash retired, the Bills have in recent years pretended that TE is not a position on a football team and I think that's hurt the offense.
