  1. There are coaches who are acknowledged as great QB developers, but that doesn’t mean they can take a modest QB talent and turn him into a great QB.
  2. CB is a premium position for a reason. Bills have been playing 4-2-5, in part, because they have had average play at CB from Wallace. Better coverage helps the pass rush (by providing more time to get to the the QB), just as better pass rush helps coverage.
  3. Unless they sign a CB in free agency, I don’t see how they get beyond 2nd before taking one. Tre White coming off injury, Taron Johnson in slot and who? Do you really want Dane Jackson as presumptive starter with practice squad guys behind him?
  4. Not many. Some people think that it doesn’t matter because there are a few that size.
  5. What little I’ve seen of Moore leaves me wondering about how they raved about him at the Combine. The quickness that they talk about didn’t jump out to my untrained eyes in the little that I have seen. Is he so smooth that he doesn’t look as quick as he really is?
  6. North Dakota State is a big reason.
  7. I would not rule him out because of a 4.55. Plenty of great receivers run in the 4.5s. It is easy to be sucked in to the speed trap at combine time, but even the 4.3 guys are rarely going to be racing a CB like in a track meet. Ideally, you get hands, route running, quickness and speed. Lots of very fast WRs never amount to anything in the NFL. Ross from Cincy had fastest combine 40 in history until yesterday and he has been nondescript at best. Marquise Goodwin was super fast and explosive, too.
  8. As I imagine many have already said, he costs too much, has a lot of wear and tear and won't fit under the cap.
  9. Tutu did not catch a pass as a rookie in 8 games before missing remaining games due to injury, maybe teams will not be as aggressive on Robinson’s draft slot with that in mind.
  10. Do you think it has changed drastically? If yes, why? I am not trying to be argumentative. I love and follow the draft very closely - have since the mid-80s. If things have changed, I need to reset my expectations.
  11. That isn’t realistic based on draft history. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2015/2/20/8072877/what-the-statistics-tell-us-about-the-draft-by-round
  12. 4th too steep for me for a guy who has done basically nothing in 3 seasons.
  13. Is one of the Williams’ supposed to be Wilson from Ohio State? I would add Treylon Burks to your list. Still, unless addressed in free agency, if there is a CB rated close in that range I think they would go that way, if he fits what they are looking for.
  14. That’s what I thought looking at him on the field and in an interview.
  15. Very interested to see real height and weight for the prospects. In particular, is Wan’dale Robinson really 5’11” and 180+ or considerably smaller? Is Logan Hall really only 260lbs? He looks good in the limited views I have on him, but what do you do with a 260lb DT?
  16. Generally agree and I am NOT one who fully buys in to “never take position X in round one” guy, but there have been lots of OGs that I have thought are worth a first - and Green might fit that but most have turned out “OK”
  17. Can you share a link to a pay site? Depending on how much it costs, I might be interested
  18. Interesting. Where are you finding game tapes? I find mostly highlights on YouTube with a few games in there as well
  19. Oh my, I have 2 horrible ones that come to mind: 1. Didn’t want Patrick Mahommes or Desean Watson in the draft 2. Was very meh on the Josh Allen pick. To this day, I think that Chris Kelsey was good, not great, and his critics were too harsh.
  20. I agree with your premise. I don’t fully agree that front 7 is generally undersized. Oliver is light for his position as is Milano (but not by much). Phillips and Star are not really undersized, nor is Edmonds. I think that in those games that D got splattered by run it was refusal to commit more defenders to the run. Likewise, pedestrian sack numbers are partially due to lack of blitzing LBs and stunting and oTher “games” by DL. For a team that often rushes only 4 vs 5 OL plus a RB, is it any wonder they don’t get more sacks?
  21. In the NFL his size advantage will still exist, but it will be much smaller than in college.
  22. I like Dotson, but it will be interesting to see what he runs at the Combine. He appears to be very quick. He appears to be fast, but I’m not sure he is 4.3 fast.
