  1. Makes no difference. His main issue isn't route running. He's fighting the ball right now. If he catches what's thrown to him he would be having a nice rookie season; he probably would also be getting more targets too. He'll be alright in the end though. He is very talented. I think he's trying too hard at this point. What will get him going in the right direction is a big catch in a big situation. It will give all of us cardiac arrest to see the ball on its way to him with a game on the line, but if he catches it he'll keep moving forward from there.
  2. If his health is that bad why would anyone give that much value for him? 2nd and 3rd round picks are considered high end picks.
  3. The reality is that one of the most dynamic backs in the league is averaging 3 yards a carry. Tolbert is as well. The line is not doing a good job. Unless they're getting Bo Jackson out retirement there are no RBs who can run with the current level of blocking.
  4. Why would the Chargers trade one of their young, core pieces? This isn't baseball; it's not just about this season at all costs. Garçon is in San Fran to try to help them win some games in spite of their lack of doing so. The NFL is too rough a game for teams to be trying not to win. All those picks and the Browns are still nowhere. Unless they were playing Madden.
  5. That seems to be the M.O. It's weird. One can acknowledge Tyrod's flaws without needing to believe there are no good facets to him. The way some on here act the Bills are 2-14 the past two years.
  6. If Beane is acquiring more picks, cap hit on Dareus won't matter. Draft picks are cheap labor. 6 in first three rounds already in 2018. Gaines will get paid, but not a Gilmore type contract. Matthews won't break the bank either if they want to keep him. Bills are about to get very young. They are building w/draft picks, mid-level vets and paying their good players who are not exorbitantly priced. Not that I'm for or against trading Dareus or Glenn.
  7. Eli is terrible and hasn't played well in a couple seasons. And he's a sitting duck in the pocket. With the Bills line he wouldn't survive.
  8. Peterman can block and catch too? Not saying Tyrod shouldn't be criticized, but the problems with this offense go way beyond him and if Peterman were in the game folks would be saying he's a 5th round pick, what do you expect, we need to draft a guy. The Oline is a hot mess and so is the WR group.
  9. Who said Darnold, Rosen or Falk will be any good? There are no guarantees.
  10. They did but they cut him three days after signing him to bring up Mabin. I dont get the moves sometimes. And Ducasse shouldn't even be an option.
  11. Does a new offensive line come with the change at QB that you want? If not, same issues will occur.
  12. He was. In a different system. That's how it goes when new staff takes over. Some players don't fit anymore. Sucks, but it is what it is.
  13. Chargers game wasn't even on TV in L.A. The Raiders/Broncos were on. Only a matter of time before Chargers go back were they belong.
  14. I continue to be baffled why the owners believe this is a good business model. My Yankees are learning this lesson the hard way too, as many seats sit empty during games. They want the corporate dollars, I get it, so let the corporations by all those empty seats. But they buy suites more so I would imagine. Paying $6,000 for the right to buy seats is insane.
  15. . Everyone is taking America seriously or there would not be protests. They are entitled to do as they wish and feel how they feel. Let them go and God bless.
  16. Shady is within his rights to say what he wants to say. Players can kneel if they so choose. The constitution protects that right. A private employer, likewise, can fire those people. 1. Trump is the President, not a private employer. The First Amendment allows protest without persecution from government. Trump is the head of the federal government in the United States, thusly, his call to fire people goes against the grain of his office. If he were more intelligent he would understand that and watch his words. 2. Professional athletics I is not a "normal" job. It is a job of elite specialization. Therefore, the employees have more power. Kaepernick made the mistake of opting out of his deal before surveying the landscape. 3. Trump's fast tongue and slow intellect causes more issues than it solves. I would expect many protests tomorrow that wouldn't have happened if he would stop trying to be Lord of the Flies at every "rally".
  17. Trump is the Rex Ryan of President's. Both men of a certain mindset, arrogant, big on talk with little results. He's a solid fool. The reasons are many. He's the Wizard of Oz losing that curtain by the minute.
  18. This is who he is. He's not doing anything out of the ordinary for him. I agree people are overboard on him. He's good not great. By the time draft season is over I would bet he's not top 10 if he comes out.
  19. Kupp was being discussed in camp and preseason before Sammy showed up. I'm not saying Kupp is as talented as Sammy. He's not. He does look good though for a rookie. And as you said Goff looks for him. Goff is comfortable with him and I don't see Sammy's new presence causing that to stop. Goff is young in the game and Kupp has his confidence. Sammy ain't going to see the targets he should see.
  20. But it seems the parking will cost you as much as the ticket to the game. $100 in some lots.
  21. I don't know... Goff's boy is Cooper Kupp. He looks for him a lot, and for good reason. Kupp looks like a good one.
  22. I live here too. And the Coliseum is a terrible stadium. I guess it depends on the average joe's you hang with. Whenever I'm at the museums around the Coliseum there are large crowds. As we said, SC draws well. That's my point about the Rams. They don't have the cachet with the city, and unless they start winning they won't have it. I don't think the new stadium will make that much difference if they aren't winning.
  23. For the Coliseum is in a bad neighborhood so attendance is hurt crowd, are you watching SC and Texas? Same stadium Rams play in; same neighborhood, after dark too. It isn't the neighborhood that's the real issue: the real issue is the Rams and NFL competing with many other things to do.
