  1. Amaro is proving to be a giant douche, but he should keep it up. This might be the most ink he gets all year.
  2. I never said odds of getting a good QB were better, never endorsed any of these QBs, nor did I suggest we should even draft one. I was addressing your implied assertion that a QB that doesn't contribute this year is a bad pick. I also addressed the reality that solid performance out of rookie OL is the exception, not the rule (see Kouandjio, Richardson). But I appreciate the arrogant condescension. It makes this more entertaining. Oh yeah, who is this UDFA OT? Are you talking about Peters?
  3. Your odds of getting a quality 2015 starting OL at 50 are slim. If you get a QB who is a quality starter in 2017 you've gotten amazing value.
  4. I think we should show him a little more courtesy than that.
  5. We've grown into the house and with a new addition on the way it's getting a little tight (Having only 1 full bath is becoming a problem), but it's a great area with a huge yard (for the area), awesome neighbors, and good schools (elementary is questionable, but middle & high are top end), and it's in the back of a cul de sac, so I'm hesitant to move. But if I were to buy a new house I'd make sure I got one with 2 living areas separated enough so the sound from one doesn't disturb the quiet enjoyment of the other, and a big kitchen would be a must. And I'd need enough room to build a detatched garage/clubhouse - every married man should have one. One of those closeted toilets would be nice too.
  6. Demarcus Corely, of all people, had him wobbly at one point but couldn't capitalize on it and lost. I'm no fan of Floyd, but I can't fault him for that right there. Dude had already touched gloves and hugged earlier on what was a fairly blatant head butt attempt. If you watch closely, Floyd didn't accept the last hug. He kept his gloves up and caught the dude. He should have had his guard up instead of trying to make out with Floyd
  7. I've been a huge draft junkie for the last few years but this year I don't even know when the draft starts.
  8. I wasn't following as closely in the Mularkey years, but I remember hearing he quit due to a combination of being pissed off with front office decisions and people giving his kids a hard time. If that's true I find that a lot easier to understand than Marrone's opportunistic attempt at a power/money grab.
  9. I guess if he doesn't have any minor children he's not really hurting anyone, but I don't see it as virtuous or courageous either. I see him kind of like a more extreme version of the Pixie Land guy.
  10. You said that if you met 3rd you'd openly criticize his wife's physical appearance in her presence as if that were analogous to him calling Hill-dog "Cankles" on this board. When I pointed out the clear distinction between comments she will never hear and ones made to her face you brought up being honest about who you are with the women in your life. What exactly was your point.
  11. I doubt anyone in this thread would consider Hillary a "woman in his life."
  12. I think you're giving them too much credit. They may not give her a pass in the primary, but if she gets the nomination and it's down to her or a Republican, the only stories I see coming out at that point about this are ones that glaze over it as an obstacle she's had to overcome or about how she's bravely and courageously persevered through these allegations. I doubt it gets half the coverage that Mitt Romney's alleged schoolyard bullying, his dog cage tied to the roof, or his wife's horse got. Plus, wasn't it the Clinton administration that let North Korea get their hands on spent nuclear fuel rods? They don't care because he's their guy. They just rationalize as follows: Clinton gives uranium to the Russians - I mean, Russia already has enough nuclear bombs to blow up the world twice anyway; what are they going to do, blow it up 3 times? Besides, they probably just want poor people in Primorski to have electricity. Nothing to see here. <Republican nominee> had lunch with someone who once told a racial joke at a cocktail party. - we need to get to the bottom of this.
  13. I realize you're just stating a personal opinion, but can you articulate why you feel this way?
  14. There's a tremendous difference. It's a fairly obvious one too.
  15. Just to clarify, are you saying you'll make cracks about her appearance behind her back with other guys, or are you of the belief that Hill-dog peruses these threads?
  16. I predict that if Hillary wins the nomination the mass media will determine that this uranium incident, the email scandal, Bengazi, and anything else that comes out are little more than side distractions for hacks and kooks to harp on.
  17. I've never understood why anyone gives a ****. The President (whoever it is) is usually just a fake ass figurehead who won a popularity contest and is now abusing power that was never legitimately granted to him to enrich himself and his friends. Why is he due all this respect again?
  18. I'd put Marshall over Watkins without much hesitation based on his past performance whereas we're banking on potential and progress with Watkins, although you could argue a higher ceiling for Watkins. I was also comparing Jeffrey to Harvin with Jeffrey winning out soundly and Woods with the edge at 3rd WR, which I give less weight to b/c less snaps. At RB & TE I give us a very slight edge, but not enough to make up the gap at WR1 & WR2. LMO
  19. I think going into last year the Bears top 5 looked better on paper than ours, but it's nice (kind of amazing actually) that we're even having this discussion. Especially considering offense is supposed to be our weakness.
  20. I'm not arguing against that. I tend to agree with you. I was thinking of the John McCain/GWB types that like to take what the opposition is proposing, put a couple of conservative modifications on it, then sell it as their own. Like Bush with the Medicare benefit and McCain with his health insurance voucher program.
  21. The problem with a lot of Rhino's isn't that they differ in a few side issues but often that they're willing to cede the core of their position in exchange for being able to sprinkle a little conservatism around the periphery.
  22. Amy Schumer looks like she's on a few pounds, but I'd still hit it.
  23. You're so out of your element and all over the map with this that it's hard to know where to start so I'll ignore your mischaracterizations and insults and try to make it as simple as I can. All we really know is the two of them had an altercation and she had some minor bruising. No witnesses. We have no way of knowing who was the aggressor and no evidence that I've seen strongly suggests otherwise. In response to this, and ostensibly in defense of the NFL's stance that these are facts and not allegations, you and others offer no evidence, but rather say that a GDC judge in NC with a hyphenated last name listened to a bunch of testimony and made a decision so we should assume she's right. That's what deference to authority is. I'm not the one who said you were deferring to authority, you did. I just pointed it out.
  24. Well, you're entitled to your opinion. I disagree with everything you just said and I find your argument to be little more than deference to perceived authority, Most of all, I think the denial of Hardy being taken to task as the NFL making up for Ray Rice is willful disregard of the obvious truth, but that's just my opinion.
