  1. Should this policy extend to non-domestic violence too?
  2. It's weird how often people purporting to be Muslims commit religiously motivated acts of violence. Don't they know that Islam is THE religion of peace?
  3. If you're not cheating you're not trying.
  4. Do you want to and up like The Pats* with the whole Aaron Hernandez debacle? Now their franchise is in shambles. Shambles, I tell you!
  5. I get that we don't have big WRs, but otherwise I think we're built almost perfectly for a power run game. We have great big offensive linemen, one of the best lead blocking FBs in the league, and big RBs (I know McCoy isn't really a power back, but Karlos Williams and Anthony Dixon are, and Fred is great at picking up tough yards between the tackles). I guess TE could be an issue; I don't know how good a blocker Clay & O'leary are but Gragg blocks like a skinny receiver.
  6. I can't fault Mayweather for winning a boring fight any more than I can fault the Bills for winning a boring game. I see him as a great boxer but not a great fighter. He's great at working within the rules, but it's not much fun to watch and it wouldn't do him much good if the other guy was allowed to grab him.
  7. This is the absolute dumbest criticism of the whole thing. They gave them a booklet that included tips on proper feminine hygiene. What's the big deal?
  8. Schick's Quatro would indicate that impending child support, which is a function of income (at least in most states) is a hell of a motive, and being in a stadium with thousands of witnesses is almost too convenient an alibi, but that by itself is too flimsy to responsibly make accusations. It should be interesting to see how this all unfolds.
  9. It is old news, but you never want to miss an opportunity to grandstand.
  10. LT - Kouandijo LG - Glenn C - Woods RG - Urbik RT - Henderson
  11. They ought to take him out for drinks on Pegula's yacht (fully stocked with hookers and blow) so he can see some of the fringe benefits that come with being a Bill.
  12. I don't disagree with what you just said about judging the Watkins trade. I just disagree with using Ebron as the standard against which it is measured for principally the same reason I stated here.
  13. I assume they've worked him out and determined he has something to offer, but I'm not all that excited about a guy who had 1 tackle all of last year.
  14. Kiper and others weighed the Watkins trade in arriving at their grades. If they knew Whaley was going to otherwise draft Ebron I'm sure the grades would be higher.
  15. Nor should they. That would be like judging the deal I got for my car based on what the guy I bought it from did with the money I paid him.
  16. Unless he washes out or has a career ending injury in the first few years this probably won't hurt his overall earning potential all that much. It's an unfortunate situation, but in the grand scheme of things it's hard for me to get too distressed about his financial situation at this point.
  17. Even if he isn't very good he can still be a great pick. Whaley will just need to find someone worse and say he would've taken that guy If Darby wasn't available.
  18. 2 dozen roses. And an older bottle of wine.
  19. If we were going to draft a killer why not take La'el Collins instead?
  20. I know you do quite a bit of scouting, but I'm guessing there are others who just see CB and hate it
  21. I'm curious how many of the people trashing the pick know much about the player and how many are just pissed because it's a CB. I don't know a lot about the player himself, but I think a good CB is a solid addition to this team and have a hard time understanding why anyone would disagree.
  22. I was hoping Petty & Hundley would help push Grayson or Mannion back to a point where the Bills may take them, but damn if both of them didn't leapfrog them. Oh well
  23. McKelvin and Graham are getting up in years, Robey is strictly a slot CB, Cockrell is unproven, and the loss of Searcy gives us an open roster spot in the defensive backfield. Plus, having a guy with the athletic ability to man cover a guy on an island is an asset in Red's D. I like the pick. Kind of a lot.
  24. I think he's going to be good. I dig it.
