  1. Liberalism is inconsistent with Christianity. I've never understood how anyone can internally reconcile the two.
  2. I don't think that'll work on account of thugs watching TV too. But if we hit Brooks Brothers afterwards...
  3. LOOT THE !@#$ING BEST BUY!!!
  4. I don't follow. I think if he said "EJ will be with us for a long time" it would be a stronger statement than saying nothing is further from the truth than rumors that we're planning to cut him in camp.
  5. I can't do gatorman. I've tried, but haven't figured out how to work the drool into text.
  6. !@#$ that. Some of those men were shot down by TX police. We should send a message by breaking into Best Buy in our respective cities. Plus, a new TV will help to alleviate my outrage.
  7. Biker gang lives matter.
  8. I'm curious to see how this one goes. Right now most everyone sees it for the crock of **** that it is, but I'll bet idiocy wins out in the long run.
  9. Might be a good thing. The old, stuffy, up-tight socially conservative stereotype isn't good for branding. A more masculine no-bull **** image contrasts well against the limp-wristed, "my other penis is a vagina", politically correct, kitty boy image of the Dems.
  10. I have no idea what they're thinking but even if all the talk about EJ being cut was 100% true this is exactly what they'd tell the public. There's no way in hell they'd confirm those reports. Exactly
  11. And if my uncle was a woman she'd be hideously ugly.
  12. Personally, I'd rather go with Manuel than Kaepernick, and I'm not that optimistic about EJ. I think Keep probably gives you a little more right out the gate, but I see him as a RB with a killer fastball more than a QB with wheels. EJ at least has more than one pitch.
  13. Robert Wood is a good #2 WR, but he's not someone who scares defenses or pulls coverage his way. I'm glad we have him, but I doubt opposing DCs lie awake at night worrying about how to slow him down.
  14. Failure to believe in something for which little to no evidence exists seems an odd criteria to base a sentence of agony for eternity upon.
  15. Because Canadians go to hell. Oh wait, that's in this life. Never mind.
  16. Don't feel bad Ryan. I didn't get any after my date last night either and I was home by 1.
  17. I find the whole concept of imposed suffering for the purpose of retribution to be too primitive and inately human to be attributable to an omniscient deity.
  18. Our WRs have a lot of potential, but it takes a severe case of homerism to think they're even in the conversation for best in the NFL. How many 1000 yd seasons among them? Zero. And Clay is a nice addition, but the way some of you talk about him you'd think he was Jimmy !@#$in Graham. He's not on that level. And the QB excuse is just that. We've got a formidable crew, but they've got a lot to prove before we crown their ass.
  19. Somehow I think if an old black guy told his girlfriend he didn't want her going out in public with white guys, Mark80 would have a hard time mustering the [self] righteous indignation.
  20. I have no idea how you got that from what I said, but I'm through trying to explain it. It's not as complicated as you're trying to make it.
  21. No. The point isn't that they wanted to punish Brady; it's that they wanted to mitigate the damage. The league was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'm sure they'd rather have absolved Brady but as I said, trying to pin that **** on the ball boys wasn't going to fly. The public wouldn't buy it. They couldn't save Brady but they could mitigate the damage by absolving the rest of the organization (notice how Kraft, Bellichick, and the rest of the staff aren't implicated in any of this?) Even though they had to put some of this on Brady they still hung a question mark over his culpability with the "more likely than not" language and the 4 game suspension was probably the lightest suspension they thought the public would buy.
