  1. Of course, last year we were built to let a qb sit while this year we were not. Additionally with two offseasons and two drafts one might say we could’ve added more offensive talent than we have. But hey
  2. I was unabashedly a Rosen guy but will say allen has shown me some things I didn’t expect. Hopefully he stays resilient and plays through a tough situation to find success. It’ll be an uphill battle but eager to watch how he takes it on.
  3. They bounce back well, and we don’t have a ton of context... but it sure doesn’t feel good that more than once a month the wheels absolutely come off
  4. Hes an “if a super bowl contender loses a pair of starters at WR, he’ll fetch a day 3 pick and save us some money” type right now
  5. I wouldn’t expect him to be a breakout star here. Great spot to land with Julio as a mentor, and well established players all over the place including QB. im also not knocking Edmunds. But getting a top WR and saving pick 65 is definitely what I expected on draft day. We will see, but I definitely didn’t peg trading up again to get a defensive player.
  6. Joking aside- are there any good sites for up to date free agents? Most I’ve stumbled across stop updating in the spring/summer with an occasional article during camp but didn’t see a good one for right now
  7. I enjoy you calling out someone mere minutes after you did similar if not more egregious
  8. Tre did. Both feet weren’t down yet. it helps immensely when you include clips in threads like this.
  9. Honestly, not at the moment. It’s a long season and you never know how things shake out. But it’s an offensive league and it seems to me that if you want elite coaching on both sides an offensive head coach and strong DC is more realistic than the other way around. We’ve done very little to help him. Very little. Which is especially concerning when trading up for the guy that has the largest learning curve of the big 4. Invest extra in getting the biggest risk and then put him in a difficult position.... it’s pretty billsy, but you never know.
  10. I know that if I was going to spend a 2, 3, 7 in picks and commit $14m in cap space this year I’d say Benjamin, zay, Coleman and kerley were an exceptional use of those resources.
  11. Totally what I said. Clearly I am the over emotional one in this thread. that said, I’m not canning them just for the sake of making a move but I’d be open to some soft back channel conversations with an exceptional offensive minded head coach that likes allen, if one comes to be out there and available
  12. Its a cop out to pretend this regime has no hand in the cap situation. How much cap did we commit to benjamin, Coleman and kerley (ignoring picks) for instance or could the dareus/Starr situation be handled differently? How they managed glenn or Tyrod/McCarron is in part on them too. You can’t just throw your hands up and give them a 3-5 year free pass
  13. Id venture that somewhere through the offseason we could’ve spent it better. Or carried it over. to make that trade and accept that contract you have to give the dude a pretty long leash. You know he’s going to be a handful out of the gate.
  14. I don’t know if you realize this but that’s actually not josh allen in your pic. If you could go ahead and immediately change it, we would all appreciate it. It’s so annoying.
  15. At this point you almost have to wonder if there’s something like a vision issue, ala our corner that had to have eye surgery. Odds are with this number of career reps and decent coaching even in college it’s not a matter of learning such an incrediblely basic skill for his position.
  16. I knew you wouldn’t be able to pass on that. Didn’t even have to tag you.
  17. His investments in shoes should totally pay off
  18. To put it in perspective - we are paying 3.5m this year to have Foster drop balls instead of putting him on the practice squad and saving a couple bucks to let Coleman run a limited tree
  19. This board is littered with misspelled names, wrong players, etc.... you put enough characters on the page and you are bound to have some flubs. Accidents happen. If it happens on the regular, sure, it’s not good.
  20. I think near literally every poster on this site might make that mistake. Because we are human.
  21. But that time line is incredibly standard. When discussing if allen would sit the whole year - top ten picks the last 15 years have universally started outside a small number of exceptions. The smart money was on all starting by October 1
  22. It was what, 5 years ago, that kaepernick wilson and rg3 were the next generation elite? Everyones here because ghey have talent. They will often flash that talent. Sustainably outpacing defensive adjustments with elite physical and mental skills is rare. We have no idea if all or none will do that at this point. Hopefully ours does. Are we talking two quarters each, or combined? How hot should my take be?!?
  23. I kind of skimmed through and at a glance thought you were offering opportunities to take pictures with murph
