  1. Who is not a first round pick who we scouted and drafted but a veteran who cost us a pick.
  2. theres no reason in the world to think tre is a late next year return this pick is about long term roster building and cap. Tre pairs with a cheap rookie for his remaining contract. Kid works out and gets tres money shifted to him
  3. can run with tyreek instead of being scared of him
  4. Don’t be a drama Queen
  5. Never know. did read a few articles that the giants loved the guy, for instance
  6. Give it like 30 seconds bro, your night will be no worse to wait
  7. Doesn’t feel like “what in the world” they missed the first cut and got a “vet” instead of the second tier
  8. They compared thibadeaux to Shawn merriman earlier
  9. wouldn’t be shocked - a high two plus something and still get a corner or back wouldn’t be shocking
  10. it doesn’t have as many stars, but we should take a solid guy tonight by any standards
  11. Comparing a guy to merriman seems… questionable.
  12. Yea, not super exciting until diggs sprains an ankle and we are at Davis, crowder and McKenzie and if the kid shows up year one, suddenly you can dangle Davis as trade bait if he’s the type of player that does deserve to start cause we are unlikely to pay him big bucks
  13. I like to think most of their players are a holes, promo.
  14. there may be no position where the tag is less appealing than here
  15. On principle alone I’m not helping anyone that thinks Sammy napkins is a good joke
  16. I will preface with hes a great football player, and this probably isn’t worth the ink already spent on it - so no hand wringing here…. But ultimately he decided to show up and be a whole dumpster with her. So he shouldn’t be shocked that he’s getting trashy headlines about his behavior.
  17. im just shocked this hasn’t turned into a name the video thread
  18. I mean, poor behavior will catch you some bad headlines and find you compensating the other party sounds like he should’ve acted better
  19. thank you, sir. while an immediate short term need I can’t help but think that in 4 years when making a decision on this players second contract, tre white will be 31 and finishing his current contract. if you hit on a guy, having that 5 year cycle of a cb getting paid big bucks paired with a talented guy on a rookie deal isn’t terrible roster construction. im not stumping for a cb, or saying you reach for a guy deep on your board- but feels like draft value may likely intersect need, both short and long term, with a premium position
  20. no link or summary. Well done.
  21. i think the browns have accepted that there’s little risk of cutting a cornerstone player after 2-3 years. so they are guaranteeing a little deeper. I mean, what would it take for you to take 40% of the signing bonus as a dead hit to cut a tre white after 3 years? it’s rare that it bites you, and normally foreseeable - I use the Saints after a bitter negotiation with jimmy graham and also giving junior ‘totally crazy’ gallette guaranteed dollars and then moving on a year later as the counter argument to doing it. Also much more the issue they had with cap than Drew’s contract as everyone points to but that’s a different story for a different day.
  22. well, they also had to deal with a full year suspension of their coach, loss of draft picks and quantifiably the most lopsided officiating in the league too….
  23. Wouldn’t you like to know
  24. You stretched really hard on several of those and still had big gaps considering you were looping in darn near any remote connections sure, if a friend he trusts stumps for a guy or gives a behind the scenes positive or negative review it will likely effect his opinion but that’s not noteworthy
  25. I think you are nostalgic on old drafts where like 10 guys got invited and it was a story if you declined.
