  1. I think McD has the chance for this to be his finest moment. It kind of reminds me of last year when Miami had just put up 70 on Denver, and then coming into our house. All the pundits were crowning the Dolphins already. We obviously smoked them.
  2. Well if the Ravens win, their narrative will turn to “Well can they beat the Chiefs now”, because they got smoked by the Chiefs in the AFCCG last year. The winner’s narrative will turn to the Chiefs.
  3. I have a gut feeling that Von is going to make his biggest play yet as a Buffalo Bill on Sunday. These are the kind of games that Beane went and got Von for 🤞🏻
  4. If Josh doesn’t win MVP, would love for the Lamar voters to at least have some egg on their face. Because if we win, it’d be in spite of the Ravens having Lamar, Henry, and all these other supposed great players. There’d be no denying that Josh SHOULD be MVP, whether he actually gets it or not.
  5. We win, it will definitely turn to “but can the Bills beat the Chiefs when it counts now”.
  6. I’ve come to believe Nick probably knows as much as about each of the teams as anyone. Depending which side of argument he decides to be on, he actually does a pretty good job remembering facts like which teams someone has played, who did what, etc. That’s probably why when he says something anti-Bills that it gets under people’s skin, because there’s some truth to things that he says.
  7. Yet, are there really more Dolphin than Bills fans that will actually travel to Madrid for a game? I’d still expect more Bills than Dolphin fans at the game.
  8. You lost me at formual Edit: Thank you @Chaos for correcting the spelling in your title 😎
  9. Lmao, it will be a life altering moment 😂
  10. Gruden is definitely a character 😆
  11. I’ve missed some of the convo, but really hope McD is getting those guys outside even a little bit. Get them prepped as much as they can to playing in the cold, and what to expect. To the extent Baltimore isn’t able to replicate that, it would be an advantage to us come game time.
  12. Right, but he was talking about the Bills and how tough a challenge it is to defend Josh, and then for some reason brought up Lamar being good in the same sentence. It was just weird, like he couldn’t say Josh was good without saying Lamar is good too. Most objective observers can appreciate that Lamar has been awesome this year too, but it doesn’t need to be pointed out when discussing topics not involving him.
  13. On one of those Locked On Ravens episodes, their guy was complimenting Josh, and then in the same breath he then pointed out Lamar’s greatness as well. It was like he couldn’t compliment Josh without reassuring listeners that Lamar is still good too. So pathetic he felt the need to do that.
  14. I knew you were a bot 🙃 The mic would talk more than Milano
  15. Aside from those advantages, I would generally put 8 men in the box and dare Lamar to pass the ball. Offer plenty of blitz and stunt looks, confuse the crap out him. Don’t let the Ravens have long methodical drives where they can run over and over. If Lamar is able to hit some big plays passing, so be it. At least they aren’t dominating the time of possession then and keeping the ball out of our hands. But let’s see how Lamar is able to throw the ball in 10 degree weather, or hold onto it when he scrambles and takes a shot.
  16. I would dare the Ravens to pass the ball on us. Sell out to stop the run, even if it means 8 men in the box. We can’t let them dictate the time of possession and keep our defense on the field all day. If this allows the Ravens to get some big plays and quick scores, so be it. That’s better than long, draining drives where they still get a TD. See how Lamar and his team do throwing in 10 degree weather.
  17. January 19, 2025 Baltimore 27 at Buffalo 38 Just finishing the pattern here
  18. Who did each of these voters select for 1st team all-pro QB?
  19. I usually bet ON the Bills because I have faith in them to win and it sweetens things. I generally would only bet against them if I already had a ton of money riding on the Bills (like a Super Bowl bet), and wanted to hedge in some way. Otherwise, no amount of money that I’m willing to bet would make me feel better if they lose.
  20. If you want to get your hopes back up, this CBS sports writer makes a good comp to Manning v McNair back in 2003, and why Josh still has a good chance to win MVP even though Lamar was 1st team all-pro. Similar argument as Peter King, makes a lot of sense. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/lamar-jackson-vs-josh-allen-which-qb-deserves-mvp-most-and-why-its-not-a-done-deal-despite-all-pro-results/amp/
  21. This is what I’m hoping, although some pundits (like Florio & Simms) talk like it’s a certainty that Lamar is winning. Hope enough voters ultimately distinguished MVP from All-Pro this year, but not counting on it either. Regardless, if the Bills beat the Ravens this weekend, that matters more than whoever actually wins the MVP.
  22. Agree, ESPN confirmed the Vikes are 24th pick. That’d be pick 56 by my count.
  23. Florio and Simms are already touting Lamar as the eventual MVP (two of the voters), then saying in the same breath maybe their projected “snub” will light a fire under the Bills. Between the Raven fans and these talking heads, I want this team to beat the Ravens so bad next week. The stadium would be going nuts.
