  1. As far as I know we are only a net exporter of refined petroleum products not petroleum - we produce around 8 mil barrels of petroleum a day and use around 17.5 mil barrels a day so import around 9.5 million barrels of petroleum a day.
  2. The dollar has strengthen against the Euro but has stayed pretty stable against other currencies so I'd say demand destruction and high inventories- but about the timing I don't know because I've been hearing that demand has been low and inventories high for almost a year now.
  3. I sell homeopathic baby, there is not one atom of baby in it which makes it all the stronger because the more you dilute it the stronger it gets, send your money now it cure whart ails ye - btw I call bull **** on the whole story.
  4. LOL, Do you really need to write a book to shout we are the job creators - I'd like some statistics on how much of the wealthy's money is going into innovation compared to real estate speculation, commodity speculation, currency speculation and asset stripping existing businesses- these guys protestation of worth remind of the mafia justification that they kept the neighborhood safe from petty criminals.
  5. The European Union has the ECB "European Central Bank" not central banks.
  6. Agree on the CGI and special effects - while I was watching it I was thinking there is really nothing they can't show anymore- if you want to show Cthulhu from Lovecraft or any scene from classic Science fiction or sword and sorcery fantasy you can- it's pretty much only limited to your imagination and budget. As for funny, that one scene is hilarious and may even be funnier than the Indiana Jones scene.
  7. Too small for TE, maybe doesn't run good enough routes for WR- the Bills have had some success turning WRs into safeties- Dickerson played some LB in college and might be a good fit for the safety/LB hybrid position of Byron Scott.
  8. I though Florence had a down year last year but I thought he played well the year before- whether this was an age related decline or just an off year is really hard to say but there isn't much doubt that the Bills want Gilmore to start at the outside CB spot and keeping a high priced backup doesn't make much sense.
  9. Not unusual, both Richard Ramirez and Ted Bundy had groupies and more marriage proposals than you could shake a stick at - 3rdrate may just be your Harley Quinn.
  10. add Merriman to that list unless he returns to Lights-out form.
  11. The Bills had six players who will make big dollars but might only be backups (Kelsay, Merriman, Edwards, Spencer Johnson, McGee, and Florence) I expected at least three to be let go this year- McGee got himself an extra year by redoing his contract. So expect at least two more big cuts.
  12. When Judging who stays and who goes especially at back-up positions I think the following will be the greatest factors. 1. Cheaper- it will hard to justify some of the Bills salaries as backups- Kelsay, Edwards, Spencer Johnson, Florence, Merriman, McGee 2. special teams- the more special teams you contribute to the better chance you have of sticking 3. positional versatility- Buddy has talked about this repeatedly, a guy who can play OG, C and RT is going to have a better chance of making the team than a guy who's a OG only, a backup who can play DT and LDE or LDE and RDE is at a big advantage over a DT only guy. 4. younger- if two backups are relatively equal the younger guy with more upside is probably going to get the nod unless the other guy is mister locker room super team player 5. durability- Bell played at a pretty good level when he was healthy but he was hurt too much and I think this year could be a last chance for some guys. 6. years under contract- all things being close the guy with more years on his contract is a better bet. 7. size/length - it seemed like Buddy mentioned length as a positive about 30 times when talking about the draft
  13. I agree you're lazy and your sister is easy.
  14. I like Young coming in - not that I think he's good just better than Thigpen who didn't impress me in the least.
  15. If you believe that the New Deal and the Great Society programs are ruining America you are right-wing if you believe that neo-liberal economics and military overreach are ruining America you are left-wing.
  16. To me the question is, is a law a law if it is blatantly violated and there is not even an attempt to enforce it - in my opinion both the U.S. Constitution and international law are rather frequently maybe constantly violated- former CIA officer Jose Rodriguez was just on 60 minutes explaining that yeah we tortured people but we had a really really good reason to do it- I don't remember the United Nations Convention Against Torture reading torture is illegal and a war crime unless you got a really really good reason to do it but I haven't read it for awhile- despite the effort to pretend that the U.S. and the world in general operate under a system of laws the truth is the world operates pretty much as it always has and laws are just enforced on the weak.
  17. LOL I had this same thought when they picked Graham- It seems while they are similar types of players that Hilton has by far better production so I'm not in love with this pick but WTF do I know- he reminds me more of Parrish than Lee Evans in that he seems slight although 5,11 188 isn't a bad size he looked a lot thinner to me on what I saw of him in interviews and in games, just looking I'd say 170 tops but maybe he really hit the weights before the combine. One thing I know from watching him on YT is that he needs to get stronger to defeat jams and have the ability to run through arm tackles without losing as much balance and speed if he's going to be really productive in the NFL.
  18. Made a few changes QB (3): Ryan Fitzpatrick, Colt McCoy, Brad Smith RB (3): Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller, Tashard Choice FB (0): no fullback WR (6): Stevie Johnson, David Nelson, Donald Jones, TJ Graham, Derek Hagan, Marcus Easley TE (3): Scott Chandler, FENDI ONOBUN, KEVIN BROCK, OT (4): Chris Hairston, Erik Pears, Cordy Glenn, Zebrie Sanders OG (4): Andy Levitre, Kraig Urbik, Michael Jasper, CHAD RINEHART OC (2): Eric Wood, Mark Asper -- DE (4): Mario Williams, Mark Anderson, Shawne Merriman, Kyle Moore DT (5): Marcel Dareus, Kyle Williams, Jarron Gilbert, Alex Carrington, Kellen Heard OLB (5): Nick Barnett, Kirk Morrison, Nigel Bradham, Arthur Moats, Bryan Scott ILB (2): Kelvin Sheppard, Tank Carder CB (6): Aaron Williams, Stephon Gilmore, Terrence McGee, Leodis McKelvin , Ron Brooks, Justin Rogers S (3): Jairus Byrd, George Wilson, Da'Norris Searcy -- ST (3): Rian Lindell, Brian Moorman, Garrison Sanborn Notable Cuts: Danny Batten,, Spencer Johnson, Dwan Edwards, Florence, Kelsay ----------------------
  19. I think it's a pretty good draft- I'd probably taken Demario Davis LB in the Third, Marvin McNutt WR in the sixth, James Brown OT in the seventh.
  20. He's undersized but lets not go crazy
  21. pretty much my thoughts- I was trying to think of the position where he fits the best and ILB for the 3-4 is what I came up with- it will be interesting to see how far he drops, he's a good football player but I think there are guys who are a more prototypical fit for a team into the third round if you are looking for a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE.
