I don't care to much about CO2 levels because that horse has already left the barn probably about 15 years ago, the positive feedback loops are already in place- I also don't believe they will take any palliative measures like building desalination plants or vertical farming- so my advice to the South and Mid-west is to get your prayer on- we living in Buffalo will be shielded from the most extreme heat although 90s and humid isn't my idea of fun but maybe milder winters will make up for that- oh and I noticed some of the most vehement anti-government types who have cut their fire and police departments are now looking for federal government help, what's the matter can't find a private business for that, may I suggest faith based fire fighting. A way to get an idea of what is going on is to check historic temperatures of the great Lakes and Oceans it's a much better way to track a temperature trend than CNN frying eggs on the sidewalk or fox showing a snow storm.

how did jarron gilbert look in mini-camp?
....lybob replied to MARCELL DAREUS POWER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
3× Pro Bowl selection (2008, 2009, 2010) one as a DT 2008 and two as a 3-4 DE but his best year was probably 2007 with 9 sacks as a DT. Gilbert is pretty lean at around 290 so like Carrington I don't think he'd have any trouble gaining 10-20lbs. The question is what does DW want his DTs to do - Dareus and K Williams are superior DTs who can anchor, bull rush and shoot a gap at a high level - but back-ups might only be able to do one of those things at a high level. -

Darnell Maurice Dockett (born May 27, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American football defensive end who currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL. Arizona picked him in the 3rd round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played defensive tackle for the first five seasons of his career until the Cardinals switched to a 3-4 defense, leading him to switch to defensive end -
If the Navy is testing bio-diesel it probably wants to find out the following 1. changes in peak power performance 2. changes in efficiency 3. changes in lubrication properties 4. changes in corrosion properties 5. changes in exhaust properties 6. changes in temperature properties (gelling) 7. changes in chemical reaction with non-metal parts

any news on torell troup?
....lybob replied to MARCELL DAREUS POWER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Troup, Carrington, Gilbert, Edwards, Spencer Johnson, Heard, Jay Ross Bills keep two or at most three out of that seven- even if Troup's back is alright it isn't going to be easy beating out the competition. -
The Value of Racial Hyper-Sensitivity

Rob you seem a little overly sensitive to how insensitive society is to the insensitive -
My guess is the Bills keep 5 WRs Johnson, Jones, Nelson, Easley, Graham (if the Bills go with 6 then the last WR will most probably be a special teams ace like Martin) - with Brad Smith, Dorin Dickerson, Onobun, and Spiller being able to fill the WR role if injury were to strike- So how does a Plax who is in the twilight of his career fit here- only as a stop gap measure if some type of disaster took place in the WRs and he'd be behind whoever was on the practice squad and probably a few other free agents.

12 Reasons why the Bills were bad last year

Adkins should play up the mental disability aspect- It sounds like his son might have Asperger syndrome.

A. First off a lot of people who know about the case find it outrageous but the main stream news as far as I know hasn't really picked it up- why does black victim get more ink (not in all outlets- DIE has not had any trouble finding the reverse) probably the same reason Jewish genocide in WW2 gets a thousand times the Movies, books, articles, museums, memorials, hunt for the perpetrators, and restitution than the Gypsies, Slavs and Chinese who suffered just as much. B. True but don't be so hard on yourself.

Will Shawne Merriman End the Season on I.R.?
....lybob replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see about 15 sacks coming between Dareus and K Williams and another five coming from our second line DTs- Dareus got 5.5 sacks while being 1. a rookie without much of a training camp 2. playing with extra weight to stuff the middle 3. playing NT and being double teamed pretty much every play- Playing with a full off-season and no requirement to weigh 330-340 I think we see a leaner, stronger, quicker Dareus playing in a more attacking defense and fully capable of 7-8 sacks K Williams is going to play for the first time in years without the sensation of a ice pick being jammed into his foot- I think that occasional burst right by OGs is going to be more common this year and Kyle also will get 7-8 sacks. Not sure who the second line DTs will turn out to be but Carrington, Gilbert, and S Johnson have better than average athleticism and quickness for the position- Heard was looking more like a player in the last quarter of the season- have no idea what Dwan Edwards will bring to the table as a DT but the guys a professional who has played at a good level for a lot of years- Troup I think is a Dark Horse to make the team but will add to the competition - out of these six players only 2 or 3 will be on the team- this team is deep deep deep on the Dline and I fully expect whoever makes it to be able to get 2-3 sacks each. This Bills defensive line is going to be right up there with the Giants Dline because not only will the starting 4 be hellacious but the rotation will be brutal- These guys are going to be able to go balls to the wall the whole game and if they get another team in a position where they have to pass then look out, 10 sack games are in play. -

....lybob replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Merriman and the other Bills DEs will not get as many sacks as Bills fans think because..................Dareus and K Williams will get there first- bold prediction Bills DTs combine for 20+ sacks. -

I wonder how long that strained analogy will put the writer on the bench- ah remember the good old days when people wouldn't write the first jumble of thought that floated to the top of their brain until they decided whether it was cream or shite- oh well onward to a brave new world. -

....lybob replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Fraudulent voters get criminal charges- but I'd damn sure want a mechanism that serves as a large deterrent from the government making "mistakes" and it's not like the State of Florida doesn't understand financial incentives used to help prevent mistakes If a store employee tackles someone because they believe that person is shoplifting and they are wrong then they are subject to being sued and that is merely for embarrassment and physical injuries if any but the right to vote in America is or at least should be sacred. -

Healthcare- The Biggest Threat to the US Ever
....lybob replied to B-Large's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I've been on this board since Wade Philips, mostly posting TSW but occasionally scanning PPP- of course that was when I was working 64-72hrs a week so I was only an occasional poster - but why don't you pull up a thread or 10 where an issue was discussed rationally and without rancor and impress the hell out of me, otherwise it's all fishing stories and hazy remembrance of high school glory days. -

When was that mythical age of PPP who's glory we fall so short of? PPP is what it has always been, a small sprinkle of lucid interesting posts on a giant Sunday of incoherent rants, psychological projection, and ad hominem attacks, truly a living monument to the Dunning–Kruger effect.
