I was wondering if I could enjoy the Bills if I just had zero expectations - you know like when your two year old colors some scribbles and you say that's beautiful I'm so proud of you.

No Poz is not the worst MLB in the NFL, He's a little undersized and he's not a particularly good pass defender but he plays with heart and on this team their are probably 17 starters who are worst at their positions than he is- I have ripped Poz in the past but that's more about the Jackass fans who ripped Fletcher and anointed Poz even though Poz has most of the same problems Fletcher had without Fletcher's pass defense, ints, forced fumbles and sack numbers-of course he's a polite Polish kid who says the right things and on this board that seems to matter more than on field production.

JP has the ability to finish in the top halve of NFL QBs not top 5 but a couple seasons in the top 10, and a bunch of seasons in the top 16- his problem isn't lack of intelligence, it's fear of failure- which causes failure, if the Colts or any team can build up his confidence he will be a better than average QB- of course you would rather have a QB like Kelly who had unshakable confidence (if he threw 4 ints in a row he'd still be sure his next 5 passes would be TDs) but you don't always get a perfect player and have to make the most out of a players strengths, and hide his weaknesses something the Bills have been very poor at.

I don't like the 230lb Lynch as much as the 215lb lynch- bulking up on purpose is almost never a good thing

Depends, sometimes there really is a guy in the top five who is head and shoulders above the rest, most of the time the 12th guy is just as good as the 5th guy and is paid a lot less. I'd be more concerned with having a good gm, scouting staff, coaches, and a better strength and conditioning staff, young players making large gains in size and strength seem extremely rare for the Bills as compared to other teams.

Tebow may not have all the tools you'd like in a QB but he is physically tough and a very good leader - QBs take a beating in the NFL especially in Buffalo- the problem is that it would be insane to take Tebow with a high first round pick but if he was around in the second round I'd take him.

The problem with Maybin is that he at this moment lacks the physical size to be anything at DL , He basically pumped up to 250, after playing at 235-240, but he is very young and may gain size just through physical maturation but that is no sure thing- in any event it should have been apparent to everyone that he was going to have no impact this year- everything will be up in the air after this season and if the Bills switch to a 3-4 we may find Maybin very suited to OLB where his lack of lower body strength will be much less of a liability.

Maybe someday a team goes all the way with great special teams, outstanding secondary, and a managed offense but history says great quarterbacking and dominate Lines.

There's nothing wrong with Bell that a little more functional strength and a little better technique wouldn't cure- of course him getting either of those things with the Bills are a big if- I remember a couple years ago when I was happy because Duke Prestion put on about 20 pounds then I saw him and it was twenty pounds of fat- I would really like to see where our players come in weight/body fat wise and where they are 1,2,3, years out- strength, speed, endurance, lean body mass are all measurable and the strength conditioning staff should be held accountable.

When Raji was picked at 9 I would have tried to trade down for Oher or Mathews but of course you need someone who wants to trade up- at 11 I would have taken Orakpo just because he seemed more physically ready than Maybin and I wanted to take a shot at the playoffs now- Maybin may be the better player long term (he's so young he could get bigger and stronger just from maturing) maybe the Bills knew with the way the OL was going to be blown up they probably weren't going to do anything this year anyways.
