Since you joined Dec 30 09- you might not know that POZ came with a huge amount of hype- That he was going to be everything London Fletcher wasn't- who was going to turn the middle of the field into a no-mans zone of fear for running backs and WRs.

I'm sure that out of 178 post you have actually contributed to a discussion at some point but I have yet to see it.

Production wise they are pretty similar, Poz might be slightly more athletic and better in coverage and Harris is a little bigger stronger and Harder hitter- but the big difference is that the Bills could have gotten Harris without spending a draft pick to move up and I wouldn't have had to listen to fans tell me that POZ is the second coming because he is Polish and has nice manners saying yes Sir, No Sir, football is my life Sir.

I think the Bills are in good position to have a much improved O-line in 2010 it's a pretty good draft class for OT's (abet no real franchise types but at 9 franchise OTs are gone anyways) also the Bills have some interesting young OT's on their roster now who may develop. If the Bills do draft an OT in the first round it will be interesting to see what direction they go in Tier 1. Russell Okung the consensus best OT in the draft- the Bills would have to move up to get him. Tier 2. Bryan Bulga- probably the most ready to play right away, decent qualities to play both LT and RT, Blue collar with some nasty, some medical issues, Irregular heartbeat due to thyroid but seems to be under control. Anthony Davis- most dominate run blocker, huge, may be a better fit at RT but athletic qualities to play LT, weight could be a concern, techniques need to be polished. Bruce Campbell- Nice size and tremendous athletic qualities, probably has the most upside, lest experience than the others, may need more work on technique, some injuries, not nasty enough? Bills will likely have their choice of two of the three, maybe all three Tier 3. Trent Williams was rated higher but has been dropping- good size and strength, questions about if he has the athletic ability to play LT Charles Brown moving up the boards former TE who's very athletic but has questions about weight and strength. Interesting players on the Bills right now - Jamon Meredith, like Bell an athletic guy who could use a little bulk, unlike Bell is already very strong, Jason Watkins a former tight end, athletic, good size, needs to get stronger, Nick Hennessey again decent size and athletic ability needs bulk strength,. If Woods can come back a 100% from injury I like a starting interior Line of Levitre LG, Woods C, Incognito RG- Let Butler and Meredith fight it out for RT with the loser backing up RT/OG, Hangartner can back up C/OG, Bell can back up LT, and Watkins or Hennessey as Backup OT's- and who ever we pick in the first round as starting LT.

And I'm not even sold on Bradford or Clausen- I think Brohm has as good or better a chance to develop into a quality QB as they do, which is not to say I think Brohm has a good chance of becoming a quality QB.

Richard Seymour would be my number 1 pick as he can play LDE on two downs, slide into DT on 3rd and long, and would probably play with some extra nasty when we played the Patsy- but since everyone good left FA will be slapped with the Franchise tag I'd be happy with Kampman.

After watching Highlights I like Spikes better than McClain - I'm sure McClain is bigger faster more athletic and smarter but Spikes really knocks the snot out people when he hits them. I also like Iupiti and think he could play RT as well as guard

I think Spikes is going somewhere between 15-25 but now I've seen him dropping into the 2nd round in 3 mocks that I think are generally pretty good- that's why the question read "given this" - meaning if the Bills had a chance at him with their 2nd round pick or could at least move up in the 2nd round using 6ths and 7ths would you like the pick.

At this point in his career I like Rogers better as a two down DT in a 4-3 then a NT in a 3-4

This the third mock draft I've seen that doesn't have Brandon Spikes going in the first round - given that, what would you think of a Bills draft like this. 1. Bryan Bulaga OT 2. Brandon Spikes LB 3. Vladimir Ducasse OG/RT UMASS 6,5 330 or Ciron Black OG/RT LSU 6,5 320 4. Austen Lane DE Murray State 6,6 258 5. John Skelton QB Fordham 6,5 256 6th and 7th rounders may have to be given up to get Spikes in the 2nd round

You guys are morons, at 6,6 278 Jamarcus Russel has much more potential at DE than Maybin has- Buddy giter done

last years draft was pretty good - I think Maybin is a poor fit on a 4-3 team but Wood, Bryd (a pick I hated), Levitre, and Nelson were nice picks- the Jury is out on Nick Harris but Cary Harris and Lankster have played well for late round picks, I wonder if Maybin would have any trade value to a 3-4 team- The Bills 9 and Maybin for SF 13 and 16 would be pretty sweet.

Don't judge now wait until the pre-season - forget about wins and loses but you can tell if there is talent on the team or not

You are probably right but this is the time (between the end of the season and the beginning of free agency and the draft) where I allow myself to be hopeful, then I evaluate all the things they did or didn't due and by the end of pre-season decide if I want to put any emotional energy into the team- the last two years have been no (when the Bills had a fast start two years ago I wondered if I made a mistake but I stuck to my guns and the Bills proved me right)- and there were a few hopeful signs 1. except for Maybin ( a big exception) it was a pretty good draft 2. the Bills made some in season pick ups that actually made sense (Brohm, Meredith, Incognito, Harvey) - of course the Bills had their this makes no sense moments too ( lets grab T.O. and then rip our offensive line apart so he loses all value) and of course the Maybin pick (lets take a guy who has to bulk up 20lbs to be 25lbs undersized- Travis Mays plays a couple lbs heavier than Maybin maybe we could convert him into a DE)

The Bills could use some Free agents but they need guys who can play at a high level to the end of a four year contract- they are at least 2 brilliant off-seasons away from a playoff team.

Minnesota isn't the biggest market but they have done a nice job using Free agency, the draft, and the big trade for Allen- and of course it didn't happen in a year- just like the Bills will need 2 or 3 really smart and a little lucky off-seasons to fix the mess.

If I'm taking two, then Ray Edwards DE is first because he's a better run defender than Kelsay and will probably get an extra sack or two over Kelsay as well, The second player I'd take would depend on how much I like the OTs in the draft- Russell Okung is not going to be there- so the question becomes how much do I like Campbell, Bulaga, Davis if I'm pretty sure I'm taking a OT with the first pick then I'd want Johnny Jolly as a free agent- if I think I'm going McClain or someone else I'd take a chance on Alex Barron OT.
