  1. The Bills have a lot of holes on this team and unless they have been saving some Disney type magic in their back pocket I don't expect them to fix them all in one of-season, I think this is pretty good year for Oline in the draft and even with no CBA there are some pretty good DEs/DTs UFA in FA.- An off-season like this would make me pretty Happy. FA- Richard Seymour, DE/DT Draft 1a. Bruce Campbell LT 1b Bills use 2nd, 3rd, and if necessary extra 6th, 7th to move into bottom of first round to take Iupati 4th. Austen Lane DE 5th John Skelton QB 6th best LB available 7th best LB available The best 5 from Campbell, Iupati, Levitre, Wood, Incognito, Butler, Bell, Meredith, Hangartner should be a pretty strong line with solid backups too.
  2. QB is the most important position, Oline is the most important unit- if there is a franchise QB you can get then get him but most years there are no franchise QBs around- none of the QBs in this draft impress me, which is not to say that none of them will ever be good QBs but my guess is one will turn out good and six will flop and no one really knows who that good one will be- the other thing to think about is that playing behind a bad Oline can ruin a potentially good QB, if Achie Manning had played for a good team he might have been legend not just Peytons and Eli's Dad, and who knows if Edwards hadn't got his brains scrambled a bunch of times we might still think he's a pretty good QB.
  3. Well I remember Sully's articles from when the Bills were good and he was around 50/50 with praise and criticism- these were 12-4, 11-5 teams- so if 12-4 gets a 50/50 split between positive and negative articles it makes sense that 8-8 would get you an 80/20 negative/positive split and 6-10 around a 95/5 split - and that's pretty much where Sully is - out of twenty articles 19 negative 1 positive.
  4. If he knew anything about the history of Haiti he would know that Haiti has been getting the short end of the stick for 200+ years ( being forced to pay reparations to the French -21 billion in todays money for winning their freedom), being occupied, embargoed, meddled with, exploited, used as pawns in struggles between the Great powers in the 1930s and 1940s- later having the Misfortune of having corrupt and/or incompetent leadership (something we are starting to experience more and more in this country)- Now on to the population issue- in poor countries where farming or very simple manufacturing is how people make a living children are a economic necessity they provide the labor for farms or small shops and they are expected to take care of their elderly parents- these places don't have social safety nets and most people don't make enough income to save a huge nest egg- what Haiti will get is food, water, clothing and temporary shelter- what Haiti needs is all those things plus education, infrastructure, and intelligent and moral governance.
  5. Bills take Ben Watson in FA and move Sean Nelson to WR
  6. He doesn't have a Wiki page but he does have a workout on youtube looks pretty agile for a big guy- guess he dominated at Morgan State which is better than not dominating at Morgan State but not the same thing as dominating for LSU or UCLA.
  7. Guess no one want's to make a case- Davis looks to be the best run blocker and Buffalo really needs to be able to run in the later part of the season so he might be the best pick.
  8. was 4.89 at combine which was slow due to his weight gain later at his pro day he ran around 4.65-4.7
  9. Langston Walker was an adequate RT who was a failure as a LT which to me is like putting a saddle on a cow and then calling the cow a failure when it didn't win the Kentucky Derby- or maybe in Langston's case it's an elephant instead of a cow but you get my drift.
  10. I want the Bills to have an Oline that is not an embarrassment but can only go on draft profiles and youtube highlights- on who would have the best chance of helping the Oline. So if the Bills stay at 9 among the OTs who do you like and why- Buluga, Davis, or Campbell or if the Bills drop down in the 1st or move up from the 2nd Trent Williams, Charles Brown, Iupati
  11. I like Joe D but he also said that Mario Williams was a terrible pick.
  12. 1. haven't decided on, Buluga, Davis, or Campbell but really want a LT 2. if Weatherspoon or Spikes I'd do a jig 3. that would be a nice pick 4. going off the Board and taking Austen Lane DE 5. John Skelton QB 6,5 256 strong arm (yeah I Know Fordham) shot in the dark 6. dude you short changed us on a 6th unless you used it to move up for Weatherspoon in which case genius 7. when we get to 7 I almost never know the players
  13. I thought about this and wondered about SF who has 13 and 17 - Alex Smith played better but only made 11 games- could we move down to 13 and pick up a 3rd or move down to 17 and pick up a 2nd rounder.
  14. I'm think he could be a very good power RT- as a LT handling Speed rushers I'm a little doubtful, but he'd probably be better than Walker or Scott.
  15. Agreed - although I need to see more to decide between (Buluga, Campbell, and Davis)- I was watching Highlights of them and others on Youtube and the players who really impressed me were Charles Brown and Iupati, I think if Charles Brown weighs in at 300+ and does pretty good in the bench he could move as high as 2nd OT as for Iupati he dominated and looks agile enough to play RT as well.
  16. I think Incognito is a RFA because of the lack of a CBA contract not sure- but if so It'd be up to the Bills if he stays or goes.
  17. I also would have Richard Seymour and Karlos Dansby on my dream list but would replace Kevin Walter with Ben Watson because I think Nelson could be a WR in the Vincent Jackson mode
  18. don't know what that has to do with anything, my comment was because he makes snide negative comments and doesn't have the decency to at least tell you what he thinks is stupid- hard to have a conversation like that.
  19. yeah I had a post where I mentioned I'm seeing Mocks where Spikes is dropping into the 2nd round, I don't know if I believe it but if got anywhere near the Bills 2nd round pick I'd try to use all those 7th and 6th round picks to move up and grab him cause I love how he hits.
  20. It's a tough balance don't eat enough and you offend mom- eat to much and the girlfriend gets mad cause you're becoming a blimp.
  21. Hate Edwards as a starter- As a backup who's job is to not blow games I'm ok with him but I won't cry if he gets cut either.
  22. Dating a Polish girl I'll tell you this, their Mommas will stuff you with tasty food every time you visit- and you better not eat before you come because if you don't eat 5000 calories they will take it as an insult.
  23. That's what I'm saying even though the Bills haven't done a very good job drafting- and with no CBA the FA is crap- The Bills did a good Job bringing in FAs and stealing players off other teams practice squads last year- and this is a pretty good year for OTs in the draft- so without major stupidity I think the Bills could go from one of the worst Olines in the NFL to an average Oline.
