  1. I think Edwards main problem is durability issues - he's missed a lot of games going back to his college career, this is not a character flaw just a fact- I think he's more suited to being a #2 a guy who can come in a couple games and not lose.
  2. Here's the key words- "we have a lot more free weights" machines have a very limited usefulness, the more the work load is stabilized and limited to one plane of motion for you the less benefit it has for you athletically, trainers went with more machines because they wanted to eliminate any injury while training but it's counter productive because the machines don't build all the little stabilizing muscles and the strength of the bones and joints themselves.
  3. oops Mark Henry- I gotta stop putting ice in my booze, that water stuff will mess you up everytime
  4. A balance of running and passing? losers!!!!- what a terrible plan- there's only one real way to go- you get a really big guy like Chris Henery, or the Big show- and a couple of midgets - and you give the midgets the ball and throw the midgets all over the field- now there's a good plan.
  5. He's been the odds on favorite for the #1 pick for more than a month- is he now on DOUBLE SECRET odds on favorite list- Thats an Animal House reference for those of the younger generation.
  6. Longevity is overblown, It's not like the old days when you owned a player for his career, you lease them for four years then have an option. on the other issues I'm generally a proponent of taking good big men over good little men but turnovers are gold, INTs and FFs are game changers, and anyone who can generate them on a consistent basis is worth much more than traditional positional values would indicate.
  7. I'm going to help you out 1st #17 take Davis or Campbell trade up with you two 2nd rounders in the 18-22 range then take Iupati 3rd Cam Thomas NT 4th Eric Norwood OLB
  8. Yeah I do watch film and read- some say Williams and Bulaga are more suited as RTs and some say Davis shouldn't be picked in the first round, and some say Williams could be the first OT taken, and some say that Campbell is really the prototype OT and some say he's just a workout warrior- and some say that Charles Brown is the best pass blocking LT in the draft and if he shows that he's gained bulk and strength during his pro day that he should be the first OT taken- I say, and that's what really important is at this moment they fall like this- Okung, Bulaga, Williams, Campbell, Brown, Davis- after Brown and Davis work out March 30 and 31 they will fall Okung, Brown, Bulaga, Williams, Campbell, Davis.
  9. Sue the wife for child support make sure you are getting every veteran benefit you are entitled to suck up your pride and get all benefits for low income or disabled you are entitled to join a church make a list of every skill you have make a list of everything you'd be willing to sell Good luck and remember you are not alone
  10. I agree build the Lines- but if Tebow fell to the third round I'd consider him.
  11. J.P. and Trent both have pretty big flaws but very different flaws- like dumping the wild chick who trashes your life and then dating a girl who's so boring you want to slit your wrists. Also when we had J.P. I think there was a debate about how good was the rest of the offense- I think that debate has been answered, it's pretty poor- our best players Evans and Jackson probably don't break top 16 in their position and you really don't want to think about where our #2WR, TE, FB, OL would rate.
  12. I doubt these picks will be there in our picks but 1. *Bryan Bulaga Iowa LT LG 2. Charles Brown USC OT 3. Tim Tebow Florida QB 4. *Linval Joseph East Carolina DT43 DE34 5. Tony Washington Abilene Christian OT I know that's a lot of OTs and a Boon bust type QB but a ten year fix on the OT position would be sweet, and as a 3rd rounder Tebow's upside far out weights the risk.
  13. Kevin Kolb had two pretty poor outings then played very well against the Chiefs but the Chiefs suck- and if Philly can get a significant draft pick for him they are freaken genius.
  14. The same reasoning that gets poor people to give up their money for lotto- but hey you don't need a dollar just a dream.
  15. Don't want to give to much credit to players ratings but George Wilson was rated as the 4th best safety and was the highest rated Bill (I didn't check punters or kickers)- so I would be a little surprised if he's not one of the starters- I suppose it could happen for salary structure reasons.
  16. exactly what character issues does he have? what are your sources?
  17. my draft 1. Trent Williams OT 2. John Jerry OG 3 Koa Misi OLB 4. Tony Washington OT 5. Ed Wang OT - I think ED Wang will be cured of limp play if he gets Wood with Levitre 6. Marshall Newhouse OG 6. BPA 7 BPA 7 BPA I get complaints that my draft doesn't address the OL enough but thats the risky gambler I am.
  18. thanks I checked that site and it does seem a cut above - I hope the draft works out that way- I see Bulaga going instead Haden and us getting Williams but I'd rather have Bulaga by a tiny bit.
  19. Edwards and Fitzpatrick are at best game managers- I think on any good team Edwards is a second string guy who could come in and not lose games- I don't like Fitzpatrick as a starter and have serious doubts about him as a backup, Brohm is an unknown but it's not like he showed signs of greatness in his debut- but all of these guys would have been helped by better line play, smarter play calling, and better hands especially T.O. ( the guy can get open and he's dangerous with the ball in his hands but he had some of the worst drops I've ever seen)
  20. Yes the Bills are going to suck in the up coming season - at least I hope so because next year we have to get a quality QB and you need to have a very high pick to have a good chance at that- This year we desperately need to get quality players for the OL, and DE line- the first pick should be a OT and the next 4 divided between OL and DL- after that LBs and WRs become the order of the day- in addition the Bills should do anything in there power to amass draft picks- Kelsey, Schobel, Stroud, Williams, Lynch, Whitner, would all be up for trade consideration for a reasonable offer in my book- they either don't fit well in the new schemes, are too old to be of help in 3 year when we should reemerge, Lynch while young has a style of play that ensures a short career, Whitner is too well paid to be a backup.
  21. Send them Stroud and Whitner for Rogers and a 6th
  22. agreed and no way he's there in the 2nd- a player I'd give consideration to is Lamarr Houston as a 3-4 DE
  23. Told you this about three weeks ago glad to see you caught up- the new news is that Trent Williams is going from undervalued to overvalued- Okung and Bulaga are better players regardless of absolute athletic ability - also the finale rating of OTs will not be decided until the end of March when Charles Brown and Davis will work out in front of scouts- Davis needs a good workout to stop his slide to the 2nd round and a great workout to get back in the 10-15 range- Charles Brown can jump all the way to the 2nd OT taken if he can weigh in at 305+ bench 25+ and still look athletic at the higher weight- Brown lacks the position versatility of Bulaga and Williams but being able to play LT at an A-A+ level trumps being able to play across the board at a B-B+ level.
  24. True but if you look at all the positions you'll find we sucked across the board- Bell ranked 74 , so did Levitre, Wood wasn't much better at 65- Hangartner is at the bottom of his position too. So you should agree with me that we need to draft at least 3 OL with ourfirst 5 picks
  25. My biggest concern would be can he keep his cool if a DE started taunting him about it.
