In other years I have been frustrated with the Bills in free agency but not this year- because 1. the Bills are in total rebuilding mode 2. this is the crappiest FA ever. The time to use free agency is to give you that little boost you need- to get to the playoffs or to become a real contender- there is a time tested method of building a solid contender- in the first 3 years you would like to find very high quality players at QB, LT, C, and depending on which defense you run RDE, DT, CB or ROLB, NT,CB by your 3rd season you'd want to be 8-8 or better and this is the time you'd really be looking for a few elite players in FA.

The Bills are like the guy who's going to rehab the 4th time, sure you're happy he's trying but you can't help being cynical about the whole process.

I don't know about strength but I've noticed a lot less colds- I supplement from Sept to May.

People can put on about 10lbs in two weeks on Cre and NOX - but it's almost all pump not fiber- go off the stuff and you will lose most of it in 3-4 days maybe you keep a pound or so- and if you really want to impress me don't tell me about your weight, tell me how your basic lifts are going up- if your 5 rep bench goes up 50lbs and your power clean goes up 75lbs and your squat 150lbs now that would merit a tweet

Watson would be the best pickup- Thomas could help for a couple seasons if we were going to trade Lynch

actually that's what I did last season before the season started I decided that the Bills were not making much of an effort to be competitive so put no effort in to watching them, meaning if they were on and I had nothing else to do I watched- I did attend the Cleavland game but that was only because it was totally free and they fed me large amounts of delicious food and beer- I came back to the board with a new name after the season was over, I'll follow the off-season and see what direction the Bills are headed (it doesn't have to be perfect but it does have to be a competent good faith effort) I'll know pretty much by the second preseason game- If this makes me a bad fan I don't care I refuse to be yoked unevenly to a team by some kind misguided one sided loyalty.

Trent Williams was the single most impressive lineman in the kick slide drill at the combine- does that count.

Trent Williams will play LT in the NFL - people decided he wasn't athletic enough to play LT because they saw a decline in play in his senior year at the same time he was moved from RT to LT- But this was due to a number of nagging injuries (hip,ankle,toe) his combine numbers and position drills shows that he has plenty of athletic ability and in interviews he has stated that he is more comfortable at LT and expects to play there at the next level.

The Bills are in total rebuilding mode- my guess is that they might give Ellison a serious look at OLB - and for Schobel and Kelsey that some 4-3 team offers anything- if not they get cut just before the season starts (Schobel might just retire) by the way if they cut Schobel I'd be interested if he gave an interview, could be a humdinger.

McCargo's only chance would be if he could play the DE position- he's not the prototype but guys with similar builds like Cullen Jenkins have been ok.

Lynch made a mistake in bulking up last season what ever he gained in power he lost more in quickness- he might be worth a 2nd round pick if SD can't get the RB of their choice in the 1st round.

Robert Gallery had 32 inch long arms- and his failure, moved up arm length as a criteria for OTs, 33inch is now the bare minimum - Campbell has 36 1/4 arm length- not saying he's a sure thing but people got to stop the Robert Gallery comparison if you want to compare him to someone who's failed despite great physical measurable's I suggest Alex Barron.

You know if you wanted a sniff at the playoffs, last year was our best shot in awhile- Pats down, Jets with a young QB, Dolphins with not much at QB, 9-7 got teams in- what if instead of blowing up the OL they just got Alex Mack or Woods to play center- with T.O. that might have been a 9-7 team in the playoffs where they would have been murdered but at least not going for the record for consecutive non-playoffs years- as I remember about 70% of this board were thrilled with getting rid of all those overpriced players- so suck it up- the Bills if they want to be respectable in a couple years have to hit on at least 4 maybe 5 linemen this year and people better hope we suck mightily this year so we have a shot at a franchise QB next year.

Hate to say it but sucking big time might be the best thing for this team if they can get a franchise type QB out of it.

I've heard rumors about Lynch to SD but that was a couple weeks ago- I figured that there was a disagreement on what Lynch was worth.

You might get a third for Whitner SD might give a 2nd for Lynch (there's not that many good RBs in this years draft I'd rate two as 1st rounders and it's not a sure thing that SD gets one of the two where they pick) geez what is Schobel worth in trade? might be a 2nd to the right team- has to be a 4-3 team that wants to take their shot this year and really needs pass rush help. how are the colts set up?
