I wouldn't worry about the draft picks as much as the 19-20mil a year contract- while I think it's possible to find around 7-8 million (Kelsay, Spencer, Edwards,) without damaging the team too much I don't think you can find 20 mil without cutting to the bone. The other things I remind people of is that DB's supporting cast in Buffalo is at least a small step down from NO and can DB play at a high level in all the possible Ralph weather conditions?

The oil find in ND will be an economic boon for a while- Oil workers will need house built and for a while there will an increase in construction, and the infrastructure improvements that go with it- there will also be a need for increased public and private services- but if ND does not entice or develop other industry at the same time as this boon then there is a bust waiting on the other end- in 15-20 years the oil industry in ND becomes mature and only needs about 25% of the work force to maintain operations as they needed for it's development, as the oil workers leave it has a domino effect in construction then services. As jobs leave then property prices decrease and so does the tax base- you are now in a downward cycle-not inevitable but without proper planning a good possibility ie resource curse (paradox of plenty).

He will play H-Back which is kinda a hybrid between fullback and TE - and what I think is crazy is a fullback position where the guy just blocks and is absolutely no threat as either a runner or pass catcher- I'll sacrifice a little blocking for a guy who can either split out or run routes out of the backfield.

I think the the Bills have good competition at every position- but I'd say NFL quality 4-3 LBs is the area of greatest unknown, which is understandable in a 3-4 to 4-3 change over, I think the Bills are very happy with Barnett and Sheppard but there's going to be a big fight over the other OLB position.

If Glenn has to be your LT then he has bust potential but at the very worse he backs up LT, LG, RG, RT at a very high level and only because Hairston, Levitre, Urbik, and Pears are playing lights out. Does Gilmore have bust potential? yeah but only because all CBs have bust potential it's probably the hardest position to play because so much is out of your control- but my take is that the Bills defensive line is probably going to help Gilmore feel pretty comfortable and be pretty successful in his Rookie year.

Don't know about 5-2-3-1 but the giants play a 4-3-4 that can turn into a 5-1-5 they use Mathias Kiwanuka 6,5 267 at LB/DE and play Jacquian Williams 6,2 223 a small fast LB who can drop like a safety. The Bills could probably do something similar with Merriman and Scott/Searcy if they wanted to.
