  1. Who the hell knows why this franchise does the things they do. I was hoping we would have at least tendered the guy, but Nix might not have thought anyone would pick the guy up. Character issues involved, if we tender the guy as a first or second round guy, if nobody goes after him, than are we on the hook for it? Plus the guy may not have wanted to play here, making his attitude less than appealing. but if you tender the guy at a third or fourth round, he would be worth it. Like I say, I don't know why the Bills do what they do. but this might clear up what we might do in the First Round of the draft. OT could be first pick.
  2. Paying to resign him is another story. That is asking a lot. a third round pick, then paying him a contract greater than Evans. Does not make a whole lot of ¢ents. I think Chris Chambers would actually be a modest pick up. Tall receiver. He would draw coverage away from Lee and be a Red Zone Target.
  3. That is why the Bills will go after him
  4. He will more than likely end up in Miami. Better put this link up or Faustus will be all over me. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ll-be-to-miami/
  5. I agree. We need all the Offensive lineman that we have. He may be unpopular, but he is good.
  6. Sorry for the incorrect age on Bulger. I was implying that he was old. So he is not 40, but he sure plays like he is. Like that matters anyways. I posted the link that he could be playing somewhere else. On the Cody post, Cody is the fat guy of the bunch at 350ish Dan Williams is the second fattest at 330ish, so yes Cody is fatter. but Dan Williams was one of the top performers in the Bench-27 reps he ran a 5.17 in the 40 Cody did not come close in the bench or in the 40. He ran a 5.64. Are you looking for all the stats? Give me a break? The guy finished near the bottom in every category. Look at the broad jump, He was last. Take out of it what you will. My opinion is Cody is a fat lazy player. Dan Williams is far better a DT. Thats why this is a forum. You can say what you want on it. If I knew you were going to badger me all the time on posts I wouldnt post, but It is what it is. a Forum. Every forum has it's odd ball in it, and that would be you. If I knew you better, I's post a stat on that.
  7. Go soak your head faustus, If I hear something, I always post a link to support it, if you don't like it, believe what you want to believe. I could care less.
  8. Thats why the post was started with a question. About a month ago, Where have you been. on a fact finding mission?
  9. If we had to rely on just the draft to get all our needs, than we will be waiting a while. Personally, I'd like to see them take an OT first, NT second and then LeFevour, but I dont see LeFevour getting to the third round. So Free agency is where we will look at one of the OT's we will need, then linebacker. I'm hoping we resign Incognito. This will give the Bills enough guys up front to focus on the NT and the QB. Incognito is the key, if he does not resign than we will be going OT first. I think it will take some balls to move up and grab Bradford. and we all know The Bills don't have any. It will cost a lot of money to do that. and I don't see them spending that either. It would be exciting watching the Bills move up and take Bradford. If we dont do it, I am sure someone else will.
  10. Yep. Every piece of garbage that comes into the market we gotta buy them up
  11. File this one in the memorable movie scene section: Reggie Dunlop: Oh you cheap son of a B word. Are you crazy? Those guys are retards! McGrath: I got a good deal on those boys. The scouts said they showed a lot of promise. Reggie Dunlop: They brought their !@#$in' TOYS with 'em! McGrath: Well, I'd rather have em playin with their toys than playin with themselves Reggie Dunlop: They're too dumb to play with themselves. Boy, every piece of garbage that comes into the market and you gotta buy it! McGrath: Reg, Reg, that reminds me. I was coachin' in Omaha in 1948 and Eddie Shore sends me this guy who was a terrible masturbator, you know, couldn't control himself. Why, he would get deliberate penalties so he could get over in the penalty box all by himself and damned if he wouldn't... you know... Hmmm Hmmm Hmmm
  12. We should not be settling for mediocrity. remember Trent Edwards was had in the third round. Many people thought he would go higher. So the grade was high on him. We need a premier guy. Either in Free Agency or the Draft. If we have to be looking in the weeds for guys than go with LeFevour, Highly touted, but he did not come from a powerful conference. Big schools do produce good players. Whomever this guy is has to be the guy. We cant keep looking for a project. Look at Jemarcus Russell. A project from the start, who cant cut it at the next level.
  13. Hate to say it, but Cody is not the reason why Alabama won. I't takes a team to win a championship. One name that stands out as a MVP of that game is: Mark Ingram, but he ran behind a good line. I know that Cody was important, but I just think your looking at a bust. Not all NT's are lazy. I think Cam Thomas out of UNC is a better option in the 2nd. Some people say that NT's should be Big and fat. Sure, but the ones that are Good are the ones with fast feet, strong arms and good work ethics. Cody will be a 2 down player at best. Someone we don't need
  14. Well, if He is playing one of the most important positions in a 3-4 Defense. You judge on everything. He finished behind every NT. So that says something. He actually isn't the biggest guy at the draft either, but that guy beat Cody in most of the drills.
  15. Man, I hope The Bills don't get this guy. I was watching the NFL Combine and saw that He was at the bottom of every drill. Not only that, the way he talked and laughed while other people were doing drills was pathetic. I don't know, if it were me and I was at the bottom of every drill, I wouldn't be laughing and thinking this was nothing to be serious about. Some mock drafts have him going in the second. I wouldn't take him in the seventh. He looked really bad. I hope the Bills do not get him.
  16. I don't know about you, but If I think a kid is lazy at 21, He's probably going to be lazier as he gets older. The guy has potential, but so does every other pick. I'd rather have my First round guy not be tagged as lazy. You only get so many chances to get this thing right.
  17. I think you could be right. I can see them going after LT first. ( I'm hoping it's not Anthony Davis. Bulaga ia a Buffalo type guy) and secondly, I think Tebow could be our QB. I just watched him on NFL Network talk about the differences in his throwing mechanics. I know that there are some major differences but I like the way this guy commands his team. He is smart, easy going and has a killer instinct. I'm not 100% sold yet, but I think as a marketing ploy to get people coming to the games every sunday, I can see the Bills doing something like this. I think we need the best possible people in here to turn this around. I'm not sure Tebow is that guy, but It's hard not to root for this guy. We do need a general out there on the field. I can see him being that. Here is the link to Tebows interview: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-player-inter...mbine-interview
  18. Hey, if your neck was on the line for Campbell, would you go with him? Not sure. Most clubs are looking for their franchise QB, and he does not jump off the page as someone you can weigh your job on. I do think that campbell has not received a fair shake. He has lots of potential, but so do all the QB's that are landing in the first 3 rounds of this year's draft. A QB is judged on his leadership, potential, skill set and height (etc) I think the kid can be a leader. Calling out Portis for his attitude was great. He is on his way, but I would not waste any picks trying to get him. A straight up trade for Whitner is what makes sense. I would do that.
  19. I'm not setting my sights on this guy. That's for sure. All I'm saying is, it's a possibility the Bills could get him. but Conch is right, He has the Gun-slinger mentality. That is why he has a lot of interceptions, but he does toss it down field. Edwards is quite the opposite. We need someone that can be a complete QB. Anyone know who that guy is?
  20. I think it was a Two or three year deal. Not sure, but It's not long term by any means
  21. I see this guy as a backup, but the fact that he has had starting experience may lead me to believe that he might get a shot in Buffalo. If we don't resign Fitzpatrick, Could Grossman compete as a backup or potentially the starter spot. Ughhhh, The lows we have to go through to be a Bills fan. I see Ralph wanting him already. Cheap with experience.
  22. There is a lot of talent at the bottom of the first round. Last year was Beanie Wells & Hakim Nicks. The year before that was the best RB in TheNFL Chris Johnson at 24. Before that notables are: Dwayne Bowe, Anthony Gonzalas, Deangelo Williams, Addai, Nick Mangold, Logan Mankins. I dont think they are mediocre
  23. Walsh loved Trent Edwards too. That does not say much right about now.
