  1. Many mock drafts have the Bills selecting Anthony Davis in the first round. I hope we do not take him. He no-showed at his first attempt at his pro-day. Guess he had a hamstring injury? Still not to let the proper channels know, does not show well for himself. He did show up for his second pro-day though. Here is the link. The last comment in the article resonates here. Boom or Bust. Not another Mike Williams. Ughhhhh http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ws-hes-healthy/
  2. I doubt the Bills do this, since The guy wants huge money, but if you look at the prices for Left Tackles taken in the first round over the last couple of seasons, It's what we would have to pay a first round pick anyway. This guy is young and stacks up well against opposing defenses. He is a big reason for Ray Rice's success. I say make the deal. We need a cornerstone at LT. Not sure we can get a good one in Round 2 otherwise. Here are some links: Levi Brown: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp...tory?id=2959237 Joe Thomas http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2950674
  3. He also won't break the plane of the endzone – Throwing or Receiving
  4. Iupati would be Tebow's Blind side Blocker at RG. I think he would be a great pick up if we went after Tebow. Not sure if Iupati is LT material. but then we would almost certainly have to move Levetre or Iupati to LT.
  5. I agree. Let's just put last year out of our mind's. It was one bad year. Marshawn is a very good back, sure he has some character flaws, but now that he stands to lose a lot of time and money for screwing up again, I think he will not mess things up. He is a workhorse. I would not want to lose him, and if we did, why would we trade him and Whitner for a third string receiver and a late 4th round pick. If we were to trade for anyone, it would be for someone far better or better picks. In the draft senerio, you have the Bills picking Skelton. I do not see that guy being any better than Trent. Why, get another guy of that caliber. We need a starting QB. not another scrub. I do like your other picks, but I think we have to take the QB situation seriously. We need someone that jumps off the page. If we can get either Bradford, Clausen or McCoy we have to do it. If we wait, We should get LeFevour, I still think he ranks among those guys. I think Cleveland will land him. but I'd like for us to get him.
  6. Even though, Vick is not the citizen of the year. I think he served his time and should be given the opportunity to start his life over. Can't say Ralph Wilson likes the guy but He would fare better than Trent. Vick scored 2 TDs last year being a third string QB. Trent was a starter and had 6 all year (with our receivers). I know Trent got demoted, but He had 183 attempts. Vick had 15. I am sure if Vick had that many attempts with our receivers, he would put more points up on the board. He can still run. not as fast as he ounce did, but why do you think McNabb got all crazy when he got benched. He worried that the two guys below him on the depth chart had game.
  7. There is too little left in the tank to justify the expense. I know people can compare his situation to Favre, but the reality is he will be playing behind a weak line if he came here. When Favre went to the Jets, they had a much better line. Plus The Vikings have a very good line, so you just can't make the same comparison. McNabb will be running a lot. In the past, he could do that, but he is not the same runner he used to be. Let's get real, He will want a lot of money in a contract extention and will command a second round pick this year just to get him. That is a lot for a franchise that's trying to stay a float in the NFL. Yes he will bring revenue here, and he will compete for a couple of years, but that's it. It's another Bledsoe situation. I do like McNabb, I think he can make this team better, but, we need a good player in the 2nd round. A Nose Tackle would be huge right about now. Plus, Ralph will never sign off on a extention. I don't blame him. McNabb will want top Dollar.
  8. The guy must have not showered one day in Green Bay. They wrote that guy off. He must have really smelled. I can not explain why they let him go, nor can I understand why every team balked on him. Regardless of what happened, We get a guy with potential. That is still what every team gets when they draft a QB. Who knows, but I am glad that we get the chance to see what he can do. I am hoping he takes this serious and comes out blazzing in Pre-Season. I won't rest my hat on it, but if we get the right guy in here to tudor him, he could be a good QB. He has nobody to show him how to be a good QB. You need a good Vet to show these guys the ropes.
  9. He is better than Fitzpatrick and Edwards, but He is old. Maybe we would bring him in to be the QB coach. LOL
  10. I think the Bills will do something unexpected. Trade up!!! I think if the Bills move up, they move up and grab either Gerald McCoy or NDamukong Suh. Here is my reasoning: St Louis will take with the first pick Sam Bradford then Detroit gets a OT. Starting the chain of events. Here is my top 10 1. St Louis – QB Sam Bradford 2. Detroit – OT Russell Okung 3. TRADE Tampa trades with Buffalo. Tampa runs 4-3. They need A safety badly. We give them Whitner and we switch spots with them in the first. plus we probably give them a third round pick either this year or next. The Bills can take either Gerald McCoy or Suh. I'm thinking they get Suh. This will buy Chan Gailey some time in Buffalo and maybe get some fans in the stadium with this pick. 3. Buffalo – DT Ndamukong Suh 4. Washington – OT Trent Williams 5. Kansas City – DT Gerald McCoy 6. Seattle – RB C.J. Spiller 7. Cleveland – QB Jimmy Clausen 8. Oakland – OT Bruce Campbell 9. Tampa – WR Dez Bryant 10. Jacksonville – CB Joe Haden I might be crazy, but I think everyone knows that Suh and McCoy are cornerstone picks. Why can't we get one of those guys. I'd like to see it.
  11. Veeks time is not done here. You need multiple LB's to run the 3-4 efficiently. Porter also has a lot of gas left in the tank. I'm hoping his mouth will stay shut, but Hey, TO didn't say much when he was here, Maybe the cold weather froze his jaw muscles.
  12. Wow! I really think you need to lay off the crack. Seriously!
  13. The guy had sex with his sister, If that's not a character flaw, than I don't know what is. Yikes!
  14. I don't see why everyone is up in arms over this. Seattle is in need of a running back. They covet C.J Spiller. They just got Whitehurst in a trade, So the Young QB is set. They are gonna take Spiller. Listen, I think the Bills should take a lineman early, but the same can be said about lineman, you can get a good one in the later rounds too. If It is possible, take Sam Bradford, however you can get him. There was talk that Everyone of the top 5 teams picking early, wanted to trade out of that spot. What will it cost? Is it a gamble? Sure is, but if Bradford's shoulder looks good, than I would try for him. If a run on lineman go early, than If Spiller is there, Why not? We need game breakers. As long as it's not a defensive back. Thats a spot we can afford to stay away from.
  15. What do you think the heading Dwan Edwards signs with the bills means? Beyond me...
  16. Screw you. The Bills added a quality LB. Cant say you were gonna get anyone close. Porter yes, but not much after that.
  17. No matter when it is, If a team says they have not named a Starting QB. It's a bad time for the franchise. No identity, No way to establish the Franchise QB. That's how it's been for many years now. Sam Bradford would be perfect, but the liklihood of getting him in our spot will never happen. Now add Cleveland to the mix for finding a New QB. We would have to trade up for him. I really hope they address the QB spot within in the first 2 rounds. If we get someone in the second, it's gotta be either Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow or Dan Lefevour. If I had to choose one out of the three I'd pick Lefevour. Who cares if it's in the second.
  18. Give me back that filet of fish, give me that fish............
  19. Ha Ha. Right about now, I'd take Alex Smith. The two guys that might make sense for us is Orton or Travearus Jackson in Minn. But, I just do not see the Bills getting them, It would make too much sense.
  20. Of course it is. It's Free Agency time for the Bills.
