With the amount of trades that happened this weekend, you would think The Bills might just want to get involved in Free Agency. But, our Bills are patiently, sitting back looking for options. Well, I don't know if this is one or not, but Since Denver just obtained Brady Quinn in a trade with Cleveland. Where does that leave Chris Simms? Forgive me for posting this, but It's crazy, we do not have a Franchise QB, so I guess we have to look somewhere. and finding a QB and talking about the Bills getting one is maddening. Maybe, It's come to the end of the line on QB's. Dare I say Chris Simms. I'd love to hear what people think about this guy possibly being the Bills QB.

What I don't get in your rebuild talk is this: Were we not rebuilding through the draft the last 10 years. Every year we get a draft is a way to build up our team. What happened to those draft picks. Most of them get released and picked up in free agency or just plain suck. We need to have been building this whole time. But like the Raiders and the Rams, we are not getting anywhere. Think about this: What will happen to our team if we have bad attendance for this upcoming year and no revenue next year. (lockout Year) We may be in another city, thats what will happen. This team has to stay competitive. We are a small market team. We need to think like a big market success. In order to do that we need people excited about this team and the possibility at competing far into the playoffs. Last year we got TO. Sure he might not have really been the last piece of the puzzle, but he sure helped the marketing dept. He got people buying his jersey and he got people in the seats. This new regime is not really doing much, if anything at all. The fan base is already pissed we did not get a premier coach or GM, now we are not getting any involvement in Fee Agency, whats next drafting a cornerback with the first overall pick. Come on now. This is our neck of the woods, Free Agency does work and signing 1,2, or three quality Free Agent pick ups, could mean the world to this franchise. Perhaps you think that Drew Bledsoe was bad. For that first year when he got here he was amazing. We threw a parade for the guy. Forget about how good of a player he was, he rejuvinated this city and fan base. It was great to see that this city had a QB again, but the wheels did fall off the wagon the next year so, that is just another example of why you need to do your homework. Give the guy a good line, and things might be different. It's my opinion that we can build the line in the draft, but we have a shot at getting some very good positional players. Guys that can help train the young talent we have on this team. The whole defensive make-up is changed. Guys who thought they were Outside linebackers are now being put in the middle and Defensive ends are put in linebacker spots. Why throw Kelsey in at LB. Go out and get the guy who is perfect for the position. He may not be the High caliber Free Agent, but you better get the guy who knows his position and wont make mistakes. This is going to be crazy with Schobel and Kelsey moving to the LB spot. I do not see this working out. Just my two cents. And about the jungle thing: I would have kept that to myself. LOL

Here is a list of good players we could get in Free agency that would help turn this sorry franchise around. 1) Joey Porter. He would be perfect at ILB with our 3-4 switch. We would not break the bank to get him. His old LB coach is our new DC. He would fit the need. 2) Chad Clifton. He would be an upgrade at LT, since we have nobody there. Nobody. Bell is hurt. Wood may not be back. You need two LT's we have none. 3) Trading for A Vet QB, possibly Billy Voleck or McNabb. someone who can handle the rush and get rid of the ball when he needs to. 4) Logan Mankins. Another quality Lineman. Hell I's take Incognito. He's a decent player. 5) Elvis Dumervil. If Schobel retires. He's the guy. 6) Shawne Merriman Need I say more. I am sick of hearing people say there isnt enough good talent out there. The good teams go out and find it while teams like us never go out and get it. via the draft or Free agency, so why dont you get pissed at the Front office instead of me pal. Brady Quinn is a good QB. He played in the spread offense. Don't get why people are down on him. He would be an upgrade at QB. I actually think Quinn and Lee Evans would be great together. We would be crazy not to trade with Cleveland. Whitner and a conditional draft pick should get it done.

I would think that The Bills should at least schedule a visit with this guy. He can play NT and Defensive end in the 3-4. The one thing that unnerves me more than what we paid this scrub is, if we do by some chance get Tebow, This bum is going to be watching his Blindside. Tebow is left handed, so The importance of the LT spot is not as much as the RG spot. Same thing if we get Vick. The RG spot will kill us. Classic Bills move. Lets fill the position first and worry about the implications later.

Hate to say it, but Wade Smith is a very athletic Lineman. He is a guard, but can play anywhere on the line. I think this would be a great pick up. He is one of the reasons why Jammall Charles lit it up last year. Solid. I hope we get him He is not old at 28, thats for sure. The press conference is probably just a way for management to let the fans know they are doing things. Smith is rumored to be visiting Houston next.

If there is a way we can get one "SPECIFIC RECEIVER" named Calvin Johnson, than I'm all for it. but that will never happen.
