  2. I actually feel bad for the guy for ounce. He had nobody to throw him the ball and no line to give the QB time enough to throw. I would not give him the key to the city, but I thought he was a professional. I would have loved to seen him succeed here, but we move slow when it comes to building a championship team. Real slow.
  3. This is so funny looking at threads about how substantial Vic Carrucci is. He is some dork with a comb over. whom works for NFL.com Get back to your lives and quit giving a crap about a reporter anyways. I'm sure something will happen tomorrow that will make everyone here excited. It's called the offseason. Thankfully, it's here. We don't have Dick Jauron. Thats reason to celebrate.
  4. Billick would be a good fit, but my one concern is this. Offense! They say he is a great offensive mind but he could not develop a QB or a respectable offense when he was there. Hell, he thought that signing Willis MaGahee was great for Baltimore. They must have had a Dave and Busters. I like that he had a Great D, but Ray Lewis is a ounce in a lifetime player. They don't come around too often, and when they do we would pass them up in the Draft (Lewis, Patrick Willis, Okefor). In my opinion, if He was able to get a great Offensive Coordinator, than I'd love the move. Maybe Weiss, will want less responsibility and accept a OC role. Who the hell knows. But we do need someone that is a hard ass (Cowher, Billick) Do you think that all these injuries are a coinsidence. Jauron was too soft on them. Except for Wood. That was just bad luck. Still say the should throw the kitchen sink at Cowher.
  5. Of Course, He's using us as leverage. If He does not want to be here, why wouldn't he. It's common sense. But I tend to believe he is looking for the best opportunity. Ounce he knows where he wants to go, he will pit teams against each other to get the right price he wants. He's a smart guy. no matter where he goes, he will get top dollar.
  6. I've always liked Buddy Nix. He's in the same mold as John Butler and Polian. I kind of wish he had experience being a GM first, but If he can bring either Cowher or Shottenheimer here I'd be stoked. I can see Shottenheimer's son being the OC.
  7. Are you kidding me? When have The Bills ever traded up a First Round Draft board. We have traded into the first round, but thats all we have done. Never have we moved up into the top ten from outside of 10. If we have Modrock We will not be doing that. If we have a new scouting dept. and new regime, they will not take such a risky move, especially for a QB. I do not see a trading partner anyways. Maybe Tampa, but it is highly unlikely. In my opinion, I see The Bills going after Tavaris Jackson, David Carr, Jason Campbell or Vick. Everyone at One Bills Drive is always preaching about experience from a QB, so I cant see them hanging their hopes on a Rookie QB. Groom Brohm, He has tremendous potential. Bring in the right guy to show him the ropes. I bet we will get Carr.
  8. A line consists of many lineman. You need good lineman to make an average QB look good. Not just at LT. Look at The Giants. Great O-line– Average QB in Manning–He has time to throw. I agree it takes time. Expecting Wood and Levitre to become dominate now is crazy. Wood might not even play again. Thats why you need more good lineman first.
  9. Not one of those QB's on that list could bring THIS team to the playoffs. Our O-Line sucks. Get a line!
  10. I agree we need a GM first, But if we go the coach route, Cowher, would be the only coach to get. because his personality and rep would intimidate any GM out of the building. ex) Tom Donahoe. We would have to give him a Coach/GM role and pay him more money than we can imagine. Get r done.
  11. Are you kidding me! The man cant string a sentence together, let alone a list of good hires. Have you ever seen him speak at halftime. I think he's still inducting Andre Reed to the wall of fame. Lets look at the list of people he has failed with. It's a lot longer than his list of the best minds in the game.
  12. I agree. You need a GM first. A GM will always want his guy in there. And when the team starts losing, The GM will always say thats what he was dealt with and then make a new hire down the road. We cant afford to rebuild again.
  13. It's obvious that Russ Brandon is not cut out to be a GM. He can not lure a quality Head Coach in. He made a ton of Front office mistakes. When you go into the season with two rookie lineman, That cant be good. Jon Runyon was out there for months and they did nothing. I'm not saying that he was the answer, but it would have been a start. The real problem is he can not sell Buffalo to anyone respectable. Everyone knows that this is like Siberia to the football world. A cheap owner, underachieving players and a playoff drought that is into double digits. The only reason TO signed here was the fact that nobody wanted him at the time. When the dolphins went out and got Bill Parcells, They changed everything to bring in a winner. The problem here is Russ and Ralph are in the way. Brandon might be a great marketing guy, but that does not translate into a great GM. Marv might have been a decent Head Coach, but that did not translate into a good GM. Hell, now they are thinking that the guy who lost out to Mularkey might be better. Why is that? I guess we have to take what we can get. Hey, Ralpf. Please sell the team to Kelly. You are out of touch. We need someone here that can make a decision. Someone who will lead us out of the basement. It's been two long.
  14. How, do you know Brohm wont succeed? It's all about the right system for QB's. Rich Gannon was a bum until he hooked up with the right offense. Ounce he got to Oakland he became the MVP of the league. Oakland had a good coach at the time (Gruden) with a cheesy offensive line I'd add. So it all comes down to a system. Ounce we get a good coach and the right offense in place, than we can start evaluating our QB of the future. My opinion, get as many good QB's as we can so they can fight it out in pre-season.
  15. Kelly would be the only person I would bring back. He would fare better than both our QBs even as an old man. but the simple truth is nobody from the past, except for Kelly can help this team. Hell, Marv put us back a couple years by choosing a lame duck coach and that offensive line of his.
  16. Can't believe I'm even replying to this post. Why don't you have Andre be the WR coach while your at it. and Have Biscuit be the LB coach. We will really be the laughing stock of the NFL then. We may already be that already.
  17. You should be thrown off this forum for posting that
