Who cares who said this. It's obvious scouts have their opinions set in their minds already. It all boils down to if Ralph will sign off on the guy. I know Nix is the perfect guy to be dealing with the draft. Just listen to him talk about the combine. He gets a chubby any time he can talk about a players potential. I am hoping we get the Bulaga kid. He is a beast and a guy who will be the anchor on the O-line for years to come. Dont like The guy from Rutgers. They say he is a bit lazy. Remember Nix was involved in the scouting of Tomlinson, and Brees. That was a great draft. Trade spots with Atlanta! by making that trade they passed on Vick. They get Tomlinson in the first and get Brees in the second. That took guts to pass on Vick. There was so much hype about him coming out of college.

This is the Bills we are talking about. They could pick him in the first round. There is no way he falls to the second. Too many teams that run 3-4 for this guy to get to the second. But yes if he is there it is a no-brainer. If they move up from their second round spot and get him in the first, this could be a possibility.

Javon Sneed and Tony Pike scare me. If we get a QB in the second or third, Please do not get either of these guys. I'd rather wait a year and get that rockhead Mallet, if that were the case. But I'm all for LeFevour. I'd love to see the Bills get him. If he had a receiver like Golden Tate in College, he would be far better than Clausen. He had nobody good to throw too.

As of right now, you have 3 teams in front of us that very well could take a QB. St Louis, Washington & Seattle. You also have only one team at pick 3 – Tampa – that could trade down with you to guarantee getting one of the top two QB's (Clausen, Bradford) Detroit will not pick a QB so Tampa is your one shot to trade up. Washington picks at 4 and Seattle picks at 6 The Bills could Trade up to KC's pick at 5, but If St Louis and Washington take the qb's than your out of luck. Now here are the weird senerios: KC picking a QB. Dont see it happening, but Cassell really sucked last year. You never know. Cleveland picking a QB. Holmgren is in house now. He is a disciple of the West Coast system. Clausen came from a west coast pro style system. Why have the QB controversy anymore with Brady and Anderson. They both sucked. He could put his stamp on the organization with that pick. The Raiders: So far Jemarcus Russell has been a bust. Al Davis has screwed this thing up before, He could bail on Russell and get a QB. The only spot I can see the Bills trading up to is with Tampa, but There are lots of teams with more money who could trade up too. What about the Broncos, Jags, Cards, & Vikings Man I cant wait for the draft. It always seems so far away.

The guy is 40. He is old and has not started in a year or two. I'd rather have Jeff George if we are signing old guys.

I agree 100% but you have to be sold on the guy. There have been a ton of QB busts and those busts put a franchise back. We should have traded up to get Big Ben. I said it back than and I was hoping it would be him. then we traded up to get Losman. Hell I would have sat in the same position in the second round and grabbed Matt Schaub. We screwed the pooch on that draft. Is Clausen the guy? He ran a west coast offense. Don't know what ours will be yet, but I like his accuracy and his strength. You know who had great accuracy and great strength coming out of Tulane. JP Losman. Both these guys are cocky and had great college stats. But will Clausen be the next JP. It's tricky drafting a QB. Big Ben came from a small college. Nobody thought he would be as good as he has been. I thought he was worth a chance and he was. I think LeFevour is worth that chance too. You can get him later and cheaper. Just like Schaub He will be drafted later than he should be.

You first have to know a few things before making that decision. 1) Do we resign Richie Incognito? 2) Will Eric Wood be able to play at a high level next season? I can not see making that decision before knowing who is on board yet. thats a very grey area getting a QB to play without a line. plus the money it would take to sign him. If we trade up to Tampa's spot, We would have to look at what that spot has payed off over the last couple of years. and what it would take to get him signed. Our line is a mess right now. Do you think Clausen will want to play on a bad line? He might if the money is right. Is Demetrious Bell starting material. I still don't think so. He may be a good fill in guy, but I don't think he is there yet. I know a lot of people hate Incognito, but I thought he did a great job. We have to know who is on board first before going after the QB. Another glaring need is the prototype Nose Tacke. We just switched to a 3-4, That is a huge position. You need the right guy to fill it. Where do you get that guy?
