  1. In my opinion, look for the Cards to make that trade. Top Flight QB traded to the team he beat in The Super Bowl. He has ties with The Head Coach and Offensive coordinator. In turn you'll see Leinart get shipped. This is just my speculation, but I think it could happen.
  2. Well, to say that the Bills should trade away our 1st, our third and our 4th or ever our 5th rounder is just a crazy statement. The guy is a liability. He is a good QB but to give up that much is crazy. We are not playing fantasy football here. A first round pick that high is gold. why waste even that on that bum.
  3. I just don't see why San Fran is even in the market for running back. Frank Gore is a top RB in the NFL and Glenn Coffee lit it up last year when Gore wasn't healthy. Thats a pretty good RB tandum if you ask me. Maybe Gore wants more money? but Spiller will command a ton in the years to come. Just doesn't make sense. Plus Nix stated he wants to keep Lynch. That might be smoke and mirrors, but we shouldn't trade him away. You need two good running backs in this league. Lynch is more of a power runner. Freddy Jackson is more of a "waterbug" back. What does that mean anyway. Waterbug? Hillbilly talk if you ask me. Point is we have two good backs. and a hillbilly GM. Break out the moonshine.
  4. No Not really. Jarius Bird was a great pick up, since Ko Simpson(B word) had not worked out. We do have a great secondary, but Marshall is a game changer. He in my opinion is a younger better version of TO (Marshall doesn't drop as many catches) The kid is for real. The wildcat is the perfect offense for him. Actually, it's the perfect offense for Ronnie Brown. Now the defenses will respect the pass and he will run wild. He had a great year last year, but I bet he has a better year this year. Santonio will draw coverage away from Bralyon Edwards. And Visa Versa. Lets face it, We have our work cut out for us.
  5. Cannot see Buddy Nix going for something like this. but what the heck, Throw something out there and see if it sticks. A third round pick maybe. Doubt it happens here. The guy has baggage. Put him together with Marshawn and they would scare any pedestrian within 100 miles of their vehicle. car or cycle.
  6. You are so right. Leodis McKelvin, can not speak a lick of English. He's dumber than a box of rocks.
  7. I understand that the plan was set out for us to see. And yes the FO is going by that plan, but if a guy fits your scheme and is available in Free Agency that helps you get to your goal, Why not get him, Right? The Defense was switched to a 3-4. We don't know if Schoebel is here next year, We will likely need guys along the defensive line. How many picks do you think it will take? We have backup roles to fill, not just starting ones. On Offense, we need more than a handful of guys too. We need a O-Line, and yes you can address that in the draft, but you will need a couple O-lineman, another Receiver or two. A quality TE. The list goes on. And if you havent noticed, we need quality players. Not just guys that are here taking up space. This obviously will take a couple of years. but I'm pissed that year after year the only Pro-Bowl guy we have is our punter. Come on now. We need to build this thing faster than your estimations show. Also, moves like last year (TO) sparked the marketing side of things. Whats the plan this year? Getting Tebow? Come on, I like the guy, but will he be ready to lead this team this year or next. The jury is out. some say 3-4 years.
  8. No SHI# Sherlock, but that does not mean that it is the right decision. You cannot solve all your problems in the draft. You tend to miss on a couple of guys and some guys don't prove to be useful for a couple of years. Expecting to hit on all of them right away is like asking for a miracle to happen. We have lots of holes. Getting a couple of quality free agents helps. Believe me
  9. Is it me, or has our division just got a little bit tougher to play in? This is a tough division when every other team in the division adds Pro Bowl Receivers. Santonio Holmes + Braylon Edwards for the jets. Randy Moss + Wes Welker for New England. Now Brandon Marshall with Miami. Thank goodness we have a good secondary, but not good enough to guard these guys all the time. To make matters worse, Our Best receiver has not made it to a pro bowl and has not really racked up the yards in recent years. We have a lot of holes to fill: QB, Possibly RB, OT, DL, LB and now a second receiver spot. Who is going to be the receiver? Chad Jackson. God I hope not. Buddy, Hope you know what your doing cause the road to glory looks like a steep one. very steep.
  10. Hell, wouldn't you take Kelly right about now. In his old age, he would be better than what we have.
  11. Now hear me out. If you think Schouman is a quality TE than your the one that needs to be evaluated. He is a lack luster option. Nelson is still raw, so It's not out of the realm to grab a guy who will be as good or if not better than Antonio Gates. I suppose if you had a chance to add a guy like that you would just pass on it. Come on now. I know It's not a position of need, but it's not like the DB situation. We need our offense to be better. He clearly will make the offense better.
  12. Since we need a good lineman and a good receiver, Why not get a guy that can do both. (To an extent) He is clearly the Best Tight End in the draft. I do think 9 is too high for him to be picked but if the guy we target at 9 is gone (OT,QB) Why not look into trading down to a spot ahead of Baltimore and grab Gresham. We would have two outstanding TE's. The vertical game would be ours. He is a great blocker and would help out the O-Line. and be the next Antonio Gates. Here is the link. What are your thoughts? Nobody is talking TE. Maybe we should? http://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profiles/jer...#tabs:tab-watch
  13. Dez Bryant will fall to them in the draft. They wont trade up to get him
  14. Why though. It makes no sense. We got rid of TO. We are in the market for another WR. We have higher draft picks than NY. If you make that call, don't you think they would call us before NY.
  15. Holmes is one hell of a receiver. Better than any first round receiver coming into the draft. I can't believe The Steelers gave him away like that. The guy made probably the best game winning catch in SB history. He is a top ten WR in the NFL. This division is getting better by the day, and we go out and get Chad Jackson. Ohh Yeahhh! Lets get excited. Who is the GM for the Jets? Man did he pull a Jedi mind trick on the Steelers. That's the guy we need in the organization. Look at all the players he's picked up this year.
  16. Wow, you are a bad player evaluator. In most cases, you pick a guy with great talent. Don't buy any more jerseys, you could jinx that player's career. On a positive note. I would love a trade with San Diego. Lynch for Merriman. That would be sweet.
  17. You guys who think Lee should be traded are plain nuts. Listen Get an offensive line in place first, Get a QB who can throw, then evaluate Lee Evans. He is a very good receiver, but somebody has to throw him the ball that has enough protection to throw it. The guy has had how many QB's now? 5. Obviously, The QB is the problem, but more importantly, Our line sucks. We have the running backs. That's all we have on offense. Get another WR to draw his double coverage away too and we have a good team. Lee Evans is not the problem, and getting rid of him to get another player in the draft is crazy. That's counter-productive. Lee is still young.
  18. I suppose Drew Brees is terrible with the notion of running out of the pocket and throwing TD's. He leaves the pocket a ton and he is uhhh the Best QB in Football. I think you have been watching too many Burger King commercials when it comes to the small hands comments. My god the guy can throw bullets. If, I'm not mistaking, The College F-ball is the same size as the college ball.
  19. The problem is the First round pick is so important to get right, If you miss, you lose the money that you paid the guy and second we get no production down the road. I still don't think I'd take him in the second. If Campbell is there which I highly doubt, I'd take him over Davis. That position LT is a money position too, if you get the guy you want you better be prepared to shell out the money. cause thats why Peters left. The position pays the dollars.
