  1. You said: it would really put the cherry on top of the best offseason in a long, long time. I was with you until this comment. I agree with everything else you said but, I cannot disagree with you more on that statement. We have filled some of the areas of need,(draft) but we did not have the best off season. We did not fill the LT spot, Second WR spot, Reserve TE spot, backup Guard spot. Plus the guys we brought in are questionable. It's ok that they are not big names but Dwan Edwards has a neck issue. The O-lineman we got was a bottom rung lineman and some of the draft picks were a reach. I sure hope, I'm wrong with them and we have a good Regular season, but this off season is nothing to write home about.
  2. I hate to say it, but your right. We need some guys with game experience and versatility. I mean Langston Walker could be a back up
  3. The problem is OT. We have a guy coming off a surgery that has not proven himself yet. and his backup is a guy named Wang who has not played a down of NFL Football. When the hell are they going to realize that we need to bring in more OT bodies. This is what bugs me the most about previous and current management. No sense of urgency. No idea that we are one injury away from a total breakdown in our line. They always feel we will be ok. When the hell did just be OK work out. We need to be serious about building a winner. How can you do that (Like Buddy Nix) said when your QB is on his back. Enough already. Start backing up what you say and get a proven OT. The frustrating thing is we are two or three guys away from being a decent team. Get an OT, a good #2 receiver and maybe a reliable TE and we could compete.
  4. The guy plays the slot. He is no better than Josh Reed. Come on now. Lee Evans is a premier receiver. Furrey is a small receiver. Dont jump to conclusions now
  5. That post was right on the money. I too liked the OT from USC. Thought he would have been a good pick up.
  6. Never said I was an expert, but If I had to make the pic's, I bet I could do better than what our so called experts did. Don't get me wrong here. I'm not saying they screw up all the pics. but you don't have to be an expert to do what those guys did. Plus, it's all in opinion. They feel that we don't need to draft a franchise QB. I on the other hand do. Just my opinion.
  7. OK two three years ago, did we have a good draft? Nope McKelvin, James Hardy, Chris Ellis. That was the first three players. McKelvin is OK, but Hardy and Ellis have done nothing. The year before that. Lynch, Poz and Trent. Nuff said.
  8. Keep Drinking the Kool Aid. Ok Let's break it down. Clausen right now, is a better QB than Edwards, Fitz, Brohm and Levi Brown. You could have taken him in the second. Bruce Campbell was one of the top performers at the combine. He finished near the top of every category. check NFL.com for the results. Not saying that that is a main determining factor, but The kid is one hell of a lineman. At the spot when he got picked, that was a huge value. We could have traded up to get him and not lose out on much at all. He went in the fourth round ( We could have taken him in the third and had huge value) Alex Carrington is a project at DE. Why get a guy that will be your second string DE instead of getting your starting LT. Makes no sense. We took a chance on Marcus Easley. He did not play much in college. There is not much tape on him. I do like the calloway pick, but he looks to be a guard going forward. Spiller will be good for us, but I feel bad for the guy. He will not be running behind a good line and stuck in a three RB system. I just don't think The Bills logically fill positions of need. They can spin it any way they want. There is a reason why they are in the basement. Not filling positions of need with good players. bottom line. They Think D-Bell is the answer. Not one other team in the league would go that rout. Last year we get Maybin. What a crap pick that was, and he holds out the whole summer because the guy before him does not sign his contract. Terrible management. plain and simple.
  9. Ciron Black would be good depth on the line. Wish we could have gotten him. A lot of draft tables had him going from a 3rd round to 5th round spot. I am surprised that he went undrafted. Some say he's slow, but, I still thought he is worth being drafted. People must be scared of Washington. As long as he's not near a school, I think someone will take a chance on him.
  10. Anyone know where Ciron Black went? or That "sistersacker" Tony Washington went?
  11. I was hoping the Bills would have taken LeFevour with this pick. I at this moment have to say this could be the worst draft in years for me. First they take Spiller, Area of need, huh. I would have been ok if they traded Lynch, but they did not. They have yet to take a QB. a good OT, Hell, I would have been happier if we took a DB than that last pick. We reached for Troup. We could have had so many better players than who we took. Campbell gets traded for peanuts. We suck. Now we know that Nix was in charge of last years draft taking Maybin. I am done.
  12. The kid was an academic all american. Nice to see they didn't get a guy with Leodis McKelvin intelligence.
  13. In my opinion, I believe that Seattle will try and trade a pick with Tennessee for Lendale White. Carroll had the kid at USC. He knows he is a workhorse and a good goal line back. If they did make a trade for Lynch, they would not give up much for him.
  14. There is one or two that are worth taking in the second. Clausen and McCoy are worth it, But I dont see them there when we pic. We will get pinched out of the competition, just like the regular season. Just no chance.
  15. I see the Genny pounders are kicking in already. Yeah baby!!
  16. Has this guy Nevergiveup predicted correctly for the Bills?
  17. This is a pipe dream. People believe, either The Browns trade up to get him or now, The rumor is Washington could unload Haynesworth and Laron Landry along with their first round pick to St Louis for Bradford. No way he gets past those two teams before us on a regular slide. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...p-for-bradford/
  18. If Cleveland does not get Clausen in the first, They will take McCoy in the second. A couple of pics before us. We would have to trade a head of them.
  19. Whoever we get in the first round, I sure hope it's a better feeling than I got when they selected Maybin. I kept thinking and hoping that Brian Orakpo's name would be called, but unfortunatly, like most people, I was pissed I heard the name Aaron Maybin. This year, Maybe I should get excited for a guy who might be projected at the bottom of the first round. That way, when we pick a guy he'll exceed expectations, but this is the Bills, they might pick a guy projected to go in the 4th round. Ughhhh Can anyone say John Mccargo? They projected him as a third round guy. Yep, we picked him in the first. and he has done nothing, since we got him. Some draft days suck. That one sucked. I pray this year is different.
  20. Eric Berry, Joe Haden or any DB. Love the Maybin post. Too funny. I was at the draft party last year at the Ralph and 90% of the people yelled in disgust. I am sure whomever we get, it wont be as bad as the Maybin pic. but then again this is the Bills we are talking about
  21. If this plays out. I bet The Bills do not go for it, but I bet The Cleveland Browns do. The Browns are more willing to give up more than the Bills are.
