  1. Von Miller is to this D what Allen is to the O. They raise everybody’s game. Few players can do that. Bills have two.
  2. Maybe he finally woke up and smells the money.
  3. It’ll take some reps before Cook acclimates to the offence. Figuring out exactly how to use him is also a work in process for Dorsey. But it’s pretty obvious what they see as his value added for the offence. Game breaking speed from the RB position, including in the passing game. I expect him to deliver some big plays. Just one more thing to preoccupy opposing DCs.
  4. Tremaine a big boy with leverage-Tremaines forarm and Jackson’s head. Not good.
  5. He should not be active on game day. Good coach though.
  6. Will be a super physical matchup. Thing is Allen can get the ball out real quick (2.3 secs) and to me there is only one guy on O to scheme for now that AJ and Julio are gone.
  7. To me the RB never had possession before the Dallas lineman got it. A split second later they both had there hands on it. But I guess not.
  8. I’d be concerned if they had a healthy Herbert under Center.
  9. Bengals O-line looks bad in pass pro. Can’t run block either, it appears. Burrows needs to get the ball out fast.
  10. Lamar’s game for the ages in a losing effort.
  11. Mitch is a good backup. Its Pickett time (already).
  12. Tannehill is way better than Tua. Herbert is better than either of them. Go Fish !!!
  13. Tua is just not very good.
  14. Pressure is on Mitch. This could be funny.
  15. Stealing from the Steelers.
  16. Mitch is not the guy to make things happen. I think they are working on getting Pickett ready.
  17. Allen took just over 200 hits last year and it looks like he’s not letting up. In the Sims interview he mentioned how he felt the physical toll of his style of play, after games and after the season. Cam was never as good a player as Allen (even at his best) but he was every bit the physical specimen Allen is and Cam broke down at 30. So longevity is the issue here. Allen should and deserves to enjoy a long career because he does all of the QB things at a high level both in terms of execution and football smarts. Thing is his running the ball, both designed runs and even more when plays break down would be a huge asset to give up - important third down conversions and some game breakers, and with regularity. He’s young and he’s strong so maybe it’s ok if he does this for a handful of years and then tapers off. The only thing you worry about is injury and here like others I don’t think he’s cautious enuf. Does he really have to truck that linebacker?
  18. Some teams just have a knack for identifying and recruiting talent at certain positions. Steelers know WRs. Whether it’s Coach, Leslie and or scouting, Bills know DBs. I expect Elam to develop into a top shelf starting caliber CB. From what I’ve seen he looks at times totally outstanding in man coverage. We will see how he adapts to zone when required to do so. I suspect Tre will be a big help to him. Bedford has been impressive in his consistency. He can play at this level. He’s got a good head and is physical. A football player. On Kupp’s best YAC play last night Bedford not only beat the block but seemed to be using it as a screen. He disengaged cleanly when he had to and was in great position to make the play. Don’t ask me to explain how Kupp managed to run through the tackle. I guess thats just what he does.
  19. I think he played with an injured ankle at some point last year.
