    Not just that. McD doesn't just evaluate the prospects but I suspect he prioritizes the D over the O. In Josh he trusts. If it wasn't for Allen he'd be out of a job.

    Carolina had a great pass rush with four down lineman. They had great LBs. We have neither.

    Exactly. The defensive scheme has proved it could work very well (in Carolina). Now as to whose fault that is maybe Beane, maybe McD, probably both.

    Personally I don't think it's a scheme thing. He doesn't have the players to execute.
