Damn! Something always jinxes the Bills. Just as the Bills are peaking as a team, The X Files are returning to TV. The dreaded "Man with the Cigarette" is likely to return and pronounce that the Bills will never win a Superbowl while he is in charge. This is exactly what held us back from winning one back in early 90's. I was convinced the Bills would return to the Superbowl this year and WIN ... 25 years after "Wide Right" .... but Noooooo! Saw lots of slants and short passes, maybe one intermediate pass. No long passes. Not sure what to make of him. He seemed accurate on the short passes. Did anyone see long passes or any comment on his long ball? Accuracy on long pass?

Bummer: if you have DirecTV, they won't be televising the Bills / Jags game as that game will only be streamed through web. The web part is cool, but the game should still be showed on DTV. This is BS. We pay A LOT for this service and will miss one game on TV (except BUFF/JAX markets).

He won a playoff game against a damn good Steelers team, did he not? I'm no Tim Tebow fan , in fact I am shocked any team has given him a chance ... but the kid has some magic. Just don't want him anywhere near Buffalo as a QB prospect.

A union meeting in Hawaii ... sounds nice. Although, if I were a player (er, worker) I might wonder why in Hawaii? ... and who paid for all that? I believe the intent of a union is honorable but truth be told, they are equally as corrupt as the corporations they purport to protect members against.

Agreed - last I knew, Fitzy beat Buffalo last season, and Revis is a shut down corner. Not sure the Jets made the biggest leap though ... I would argue the Bills (Cassell, Harvin, McCoy) or Dolphins (N Suh) made biggest. Suh will be a b*tch to contend with. Can't wait to see him go after Brady and Fitz though.

Not a fan of Matt Cassell. I'm not sure what to make of EJ ... I wonder if 1BD know he is a bust. I say start EJ unless he has a horrendous camp and come to a determination one way or another on him. START EJ! IN the meantime, draft a QB and keep fingers crossed.

McCown is gone. No offer. Next. Sadly, I think John From Hemet is right (see earlier post). The Bills should draft someone in 3-4th round and keep fingers crossed.

I agree, however, Roman seems to like bruisers at RB (Frank Gore) and I'm betting Spiller doesn't fit the plan. I am OK for Spiller to move on. I bet Gailey will scoop him up and for good reason. Would like to see Bills pick up another RB to push Fred and Boobie ... I'm still not convinced Boobie is worthy of sharing reps.

Watch LeGarrett Blount out-produce Lynch in the Superbowl. I am actually rooting for NE this Superbowl ... not sure why. I guess I want AFC to win or just getting tired of Seattle getting lucky or winning.

I am a football genius and should be a Head Coach. When the Steelers let this guy go, I suggested we pick him up. But nooooooo! Too many off the field issues. The guy is a stud and I predict he will out perform Marshawn Lynch in the Superbowl. On the subject of RB's, who should we keep? I say Fred, then find a stud in FA or draft (if possible). I'm not convinced Boobie is a feature back. I want to see a bruiser and I think RB will be high priority for Roman.

"Chip Kelly" sounds like "Jim Kelly" ... this would confuse Buffalo fans. It'll never happen for this reason.

I heard it as a rumor or a quote from an analyst on ESPN or NFL channel after the Jets creamed them SUnday. As if to say it may have been Tannehill's last game as a Dolphin.

Miami may get rid of Tannehill ... not sure what to make of Tanny ...

I have game set to record. Not really interested. May take kids to a movie. I didn't watch last game last season.

I think the Competition Committee needs to look at the "Tuck" rule.

IMO, the Bills have an outside shot. The only way to win against Peyton Manning is to use the defensive front 4 to rush the passer and drop everyone else into coverage. Buffalo has the front 4 to do this. Buffalo has played well against Denver in last 2 meetings, but Peyton was not there.

I really like Blount. He is a monster. Not sure why Pats and Steelers let him go. Maybe he has some negatives I am unaware of. Blount tore Bills up last year single handedly. Given the state of our running game I would say to sign him and give him a shot. He's a bruiser.
