  1. Also, 3 and Outs, too many of them (which I guess is third down conversions)
  2. Is it fair to ask if Buffalo got the short end of the stick in terms of offensive scheme when compared to Chip Kelly's? Chip Kelly (sounds like they're saying Jim Kelly) has a lot more talent and experience on his team (Michael Vick, Desean Foster) than Buffalo, but their offense was faster and seemed to catch Washington off guard more than Bills caught NE off guard. Philly executed much more effectively and clearly did not have the penalties the Bills did. In short, perhaps in theory, Marrone's offense is supposed to look like what we saw ion Philly last night. Buffalo just needs more time and talent to execute better. Last night's game was fun to watch.
  3. I know ... My point was he is not the read option "mobile" QB is was made out to be by media. He's a pocket passer and that if GOOD.
  4. I saw that too ... probably was not called for payback on some other plays that we got away with.
  5. Seems like Freddy should run up middle and Spiller to outside. Manuel seemed more like a pocket passer than a scrambler. He scrambled a handful of times at best but he mostly threw the ball.
  6. Announcers were correct to point out one of the negatives of hurry up ... failed drives/3 and outs. There three in a row in the 4rth quarter. Sure fire way to lose a football game against Tom Brady and Gastkowski. I question play calling as well .. the pass (dropped by Stevie) at third and short? Why were all the run plays right up the middle? Where were the screens? You can't allow three 3 and outs when your ahead by a small amount against the Pats in the 4rth quarter. Not to mention penalties. This was a win-able game with better play calling, coaching, and clock management.
  7. Huh, really? Luck had a pretty good year ... as good a season a rookie QB could have. RG3 played well
  8. What he said ....
  9. Chan seemed to use Chandler quite a bit, especially in that first game last year (or was it the year before?). It seemed the TE was high on HIS list. Chandler was a stud there for a while. Is he injured? Dude is tall and good at catching ball.
  10. What's JP Losman up to?
  11. That's all I need to see. Done deal for EJ. Good for him.
  12. How big can our Tuel get?
  13. With Dennis Pitta out, along with all the other changes in Baltimore this offseason, I think this increases the chances of a Bills win against Baltimore. Pitta had a good regular season last year and then a great port season. He is a very good tight end. Baltimore will still be formidable... Also curious to see how Marrone uses TE in his scheme. Baltimore and NE use them effectively and are a big part of offense.
  14. Right on dude, love the optimism! I agree, if there is a time to beat NE, it's week 1. Hopefully Marrone has some tricks up his sleeve.
  15. Reminds me of the Sissy Kick from last season.
  16. Who else is just giddy with anticipation?
  17. Eifert won't be there at 23.
  18. Tough call. hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Tough one. I say keep drafting QB's til we get it right .... but then I think take Warmack (G) or Tavon (WR) (if he's still on board) or Eifert (TE) and then move up in first. Heck if they're all average, what does it matter if we get Nassib or Glennon. Would love to see Bills get EJ Manuel. PLEASE ------ NOT BARKLEY !!!!!
  19. I saw a 2-3 minute blurb on Matt Barklay on NFL Network ... I'm not impressed. Nothing specific really, just a hunch, but I really hope the Bills do NOT select him in any round. Just a vibe though.
  20. Isn't he the drummer for Emerson, Lake and Palmer?
  21. Barkevious on NFL Network http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/0ap2000000138796/Mingo-talks-leap-to-NFL
  22. I'd say Tide Commericial and farmers. Paul Harvey is (was) awesome!
  23. I like Bill Polian, but let me be devils advocate here ... did he sense that Kaepernick or WIlson were franchise QB's? Probably not. He's referring to guys like Luck and RG3, none of which are playing in the SB next Sunday. Kaepernick and Wilson were game changers this year and brought their teams to playoffs and Superbowl. Is there a candidate in this years group that rivals any of these guys? WHo knows. I say draft a QB this year and next, keep trying until we get it right and move heaven and earth to get the right guy. There may be a diamond in the rough out there ... EJ Manuel?
