Just watched the Miami-NE game (that shortcuts feature is awesome ... you can see a whole game in about 35 minutes) and their RB Knowshon Moreno is the real deal. Many of you are familiar with him from Denver. He is a tough RB that is very difficult to tackle. He single handedly shredded NE's defense. Total yards for him were 134. Buffalo will have it's hands full on Sunday but I think they are up to the task. Mike Wallace also looked good making some tough catches and positive yardage. Overall, Miami looked decent on Sunday and did not back down from NE ... Miami was persistent and had a good game plan for NE. IMHO, if we can somehow contain Moreno and get pressure on Tannehill, Buffalo should come away with the win. Go Bills!

A while back I watched him in concert on TV. The crowd was unenthusiastic and bleary eyed. They looked bored. Most were haggard looking New Jersey chicks in their late 40's. Sad.

I don't think enough can be said about that catch. That was a phenomenal catch by a top tier wide receiver! I could watch that one play over and over. A nearly impossible catch but a clearly superior athlete went up and made the play. Reminds me of the glory days. Awesome job!

Dude, spot on! Great game today. Everyone picked the Bears to win (including me). Glad I was proven wrong. Could this be the great turn around? I'm happy for EJ.

Cutler typically starts a season strong then fades mid season and 2nf half. I think Chicago's O will be tough for our D and Bills O won't be able to keep up. 24-17 Chicago

All we can do is look at history. 14 years of history. Evidently they do not know what they are doing. This team can't even catch lightning in a bottle. Even other teams on the low end of the spectrum make the playoffs once or twice in a 14 year period ... not the Bills. Those who are evaluating talent can't seem to find a franchise or even serviceable QB and because we somehow win 6-8 games each year, we never bottom out and get the 1 or 2 pick to get that 'that guy'. The only conclusion is that YES, the FO is F'd up.

Amen brother! Although not totally similar, it reminds me of Jauron firing Turk Schonert just prior to season starting.

I'll keep saying it ... Buffalo or any team that does not have the answer at QB needs to keep drafting QB's every year until they find the right guy. Not necessarily 1st rounders but just keep drafting. Why do teams or coaches hype their guy and stick with them religiously (in this case EJ)? Why not push him. Did Marrone or Whaley or personnel staff really think that Thad or Tuel were the answer? Why can't this team or FO evaluate QB's worth a sh*t? Most importantly, aren't you impressed at that fact that I spelled necessarily correctly?

*** Update *** 8/28 Wow, this team is worse than I thought. I may call DTV and really cancel ... even if they pay me to keep it. I can't take this sh*t!

I tried cancelling DTV NFL ticket but they sweet talked me into staying with discount .... for this crap?? May need to cancel anyway.

** UPDATE ** 8/26/14 I called DTV fully intending to cancel, but I got a very nice and sweet young lady. She offered me $31.99 per month instead of $39.99 per month AND a free upgrade to Sunday ticket MAX. So, I stayed. I will be torturing myself for yet another season.

I hear what you are saying, and I get it. What I was trying to illustrate was that it looks rather bleak for Houston. Forget Clowney for a moment ... maybe he will thrive there ... but the writing is on the wall for the Texans this year. It's over. I think they will be at bottom of their division ... yes, Jacksonville will come out ahead of them. When any team has Fitz as their leading QB, they are doomed. We all know it. Am I pointing out the obvious?

I did not see the blow out in Houston (just highlights) but hope to catch the replay on NFL channel. I have read about Clowney's unimpressive start but wow, Fitz with two INT's? I realize it is only the first preseason game, nonetheless, it is a tell tale sign that poor decisions were made. Clowney over Manziel? Fitz as their starting QB? We can all agree that we liked the guy but he was/is not a starting QB in this league. How can Houston base their offense and team around Fitz as their QB? IMHO, any team without a franchise QB ought to keep drafting QB's, until they get it right. Not necessarily 1st rounders, but perhaps 3rd or 4th rounders. Until a franchise finds THE QB, all else is irrelevant.

What a great game to re-watch over and over. It played today on NFL network during 90's decade. Funny reaction while watching it today ... as the comeback started 3Q, I found myself cheering and feeling as if it were a live game today, present time.I got that giddy feeling I have during the regular season on Sundays when the Bills are driving and get a first down.I figure the Bills used 20 years worth of lucky breaks to win that game.Perhaps the Football Gods are beaming their good graces on Buffalo once again.
