  1. I like and support the Vegas idea. They would still draw fans from California (less than a 1 hour flight from LA or San Fran) plus the local population plus all the visitors that flock to Vegas. In fact, Vegas is perfect for the NFL. I think that Southern California will be a disaster within a span of 5 years for the Rams and/or Chargers, the fans, and their respective owners. There will be low attendance (ala Jacksonville) due to abhorrent traffic (LA has 24/7 traffic ... really really bad traffic all the time, I used to live there), stifling cost to the fan (tix and parking), cost of living for players will increase 3-4x what they were paying ..... and low revenues for owners. Building a new stadium in SOCAL will cost well over 2 bil due to the cost of building in that state plus requirements to use union workers.
  2. So, will it televised as well in addition to Twitter? Can we watch Twitter on PC or does it have to be on phone? I recall the Yahoo debacle last year with the Bills/Jags. I had a terrible viewing experience and I have decent speeds on my internet. Not looking forward to this.
  3. I just watched a couple highlights on this player. He looks decent enough, although I read he fell out of favor with TN coaches as he was a 2nd round pick that didn't live up to potential. For some reason I feel good about this signing because I think Buffalo can turn around a defensive player's trajectory ... ala Jerry Hughes. I hope this guy works out for Buffalo ... we need help and depth at LB.
  4. I felt it was time to remind everyone that Doug Marone is still not a head coach in the NFL.
  5. Since AT&T now owns DTV, I wonder how that will play out. Will Ticket be available on Uverse? Or, will NFL open Ticket to all other carriers?
  6. I am not a fan of this move. I don' believe he ever coached a top 5 defense.
  7. Loved Fred, but I have no issue wit him being cut. It was time.
  8. I echo this. I hope Bills stymie the Jets next week and block them from Playoffs. But if Jets win, I will root for them. I like Fitz, Chan and Todd Bowles. I have to say that Fitz threw a perfect strike to Decker on that OT touchdown. Impressive. Interesting that I hated the Jets previously .... you know ... when Rex was the head coach.
  9. No. Poor communication on defense ... players communicating while opposing team is hiking ball ... all year. Defensive play calls coming in late. Bad defensive scheme for players on team. Poor communication between box and head coach for challenges. Headsets not charged ... continued headset problems on multiple games. I don't see these issues with the Cards, Panthers, Pats or other good teams.
  10. I have to imagine scheme was discussed when Terry hired Rex. So, isn't this Pegula's issue? Why hire a HC htat will blow up something that was working AND improving year over year? I won;t be renewing the NFL ticket next season.
  11. this. Not to mention penalties. Rex does have the rap of having undisciplined teams. Parcels or Belichick would have none of it. No discipline. Also, this organization if not being managed well .. run down batteries on headsets on away game? Coaches in booth not advising Rex on challenges? Not a well run team! Again, we never see this S*it happen on good teams.
  12. Always liked this guy ... he's a gamer. I think it was last year but I forgot what game it was ... he leaped up and grabbed a pass that was way too high ... on a clutch play. Good player!
  13. The unsung hero of the NE Patriots is their Defense. They are really good. Let's not forget that the Bills had 4 stalled drives at the end of the game. They couldn't convert those third downs to burn the clock, giving Jets more and more opportunities. If the Bills play like that next Monday against NE, the outcome is inevitable.
  14. Then there was the Wild Cat, from the Dolphins. I think that was when Bill Parcells was in charge of Miami. That system totally flustered the Pats. I recall watching Belichick on the sidelines looking bewildered and he was not able to adjust until it was too late. That scheme kept the Pats off the field and the Dolphins scoring. Not sure if Fins swept that season but at least split. But I think your premise is right ... someone needs to do something out of the box in hopes of winning against this uber talented team. Otherwise, you better hope the Pats O-line has a bad day and the opponent can penetrate up the middle ... ala Giants and Baltimore in years past. Even then, Brady is on a mission and will still pick you apart with multiple weapons.
  15. I've said some crazy Sh*t on these boards, but you just won the prize.
  16. Wow, what a bad viewing experience watching this game on Yahoo. Lots of hesitation and blurry images all throughout game. I watched on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 tablet ... in same room as router. Back to the drawing board NFL and Yahoo. Terrible experience! Nothing like watching TV!
  17. I'm rooting for Jets. I like Todd Bowles. Not thinking about standings. F the Pats.
  18. I am paying full price this year. My bad for not calling to bicker. If Bills do not make playoffs, I am done for a couple of years. It's a lot of scratch to watch this team. I love them but ...
  19. This! I have noticed this on several snaps this year. Defense is communicating looking around when ball is being snapped by other team. Drives me insane. Also, too many penalties! Good teams do not commit that many penalties. What was Brooks thinking when he Taunted? WTF?!? Did Rex have a chat with Brooks when he came off field like Belicheck would? Probably not. Another undisciplined Ryan team... Cincinnati was effiecient and no dumb penalties. Well executed game.
  20. This is off topic from the original post, but prepare yourself for another 5-7 years of Tom Brady, if not longer. He is at the top of his game right now and takes good care of his arm. I recall thinking just 2 years ago that he had another 3-4 years left in the league. Boy was I wrong. As good as he and Belichick are, there has to be an answer on how to play against his offense. Or maybe the answer lies in what the Giants and Baltimore did years ago in Superbowls and playoffs: get penetration up the middle and hit Tom Brady. Unless you rattle him, he'll make you pay all day long.
  21. Tony Gonzalez says the Bills are going to the SuperBowl.
  22. 16) Boobie Brown is at best an average RB. Every time he was given the ball, we lost yards.
